OMG!!! I am so glad I found myself driving through Wesley Chapel! 900 Degrees Pizza is AMAZING! She promptly had me sat and with my diet soda in hand. As is my habit, I ordered pepperoni slices. (Great way to compare different pizza places for me.) I believe I made an excellent choice but there were others, which I'm sure I'll try on subsequent trips. I loved the taste and texture of the crust. Stood up to being eaten both hand-held--having grown up in Manhattan and Queens, it is, of course, my preference. That said, it held up well to the fancier "I eat my pizza with utensils" approach. So hungry. Holiday shopping all morning after church. Had nothing to eat so far. We had to stop somewhere around the Wesley Chapel area. Then we say 900 Degrees NY pizza. Typical casual restaurant. Nothing stands out. The servers were friendly and greeted us with a smile and menus. Decent selection of pasta dishes, sandwiches and pizzas. I ordered the chicken with vodka sauce sandwich. My wife ordered the ziti with pomodoro sauce and cheese. We waited for at least 5 to 7 minutes. Then here comes the food. Big portions! The flavors were good yet typical. Lots of cheese on both dishes. The prices were similar to many other Italian restaurants and pizzerias in the area. We may come back to try the actual pizza next time. Honestly if I could give one star I would... the 900 degree at The grove is a total JOKE!!! They burned our pizza. The garlic knots were burned. When I called the manager Amy. She set the phone down and started laughing With the crew saying "I need a manager I need a manager " and then proceeded to pick the phone back up.. saying how can I help you. I let her know the issue. She told me she would give me a refund as the food was not even editable. And she still charged me $28. she also argued with me that she seen the garlic knots and they were perfect.... If this is the standards she's going to hold for your location. I suggest you take a second look at your management I asked for light sauce it was far from light sauce and the bottom was completely Black . I asked For extra butter on the garlic knots and they were burned and hard. She should not be a manager as she does not take the position seriously. read more

In reported an incident at Nee York Pizza regarding my treatment as a customer. Rather than address the issue, the manager exaggerated the situation, posted untruths, and made an attempt to manipulate the public. So I have posted my responses to his neglectful allegations: We have thoroughly reviewed the store's surveillance footage regarding this individual's recent visit and accusations and it "confirms that he made up a very wild story. The footage confirms he was in the store for less than a minute, then walked out. It shows no evidence to support his claims. " My response: so the complaint about the cashier looking over me and welcoming someone else never happened? The footage doesnt show her walking around the counter and seating the woman that came in AFTER ME? "Furthermore, his allegations of racism are unfounded, as the staff member he encountered is a person of color. " My reply: Racism never came out of my mouth. What I said was that I did not appreciate having to go to give up my position in line and yield to someone else. It just so happened that the person in question was white. "The individual also sent a communication to the Store containing unprofessional, vile, threatening and derogatory language that we find offensive and unacceptable." My response: This was twisted and taken out of context. I sent an email expressing how I was treated and explained why I was upset about it. The email was disregarded and went unanswered. "He then returned the next day and began to harass a manager alleging racism when he had zero contact in the short time he was there. " My response: This is an all out lie. Since my email went unanswered I felt that someone was covering it it. Management tends to reply to such emails. This particular manager didnt. And most should know why. "Most unfortunate is the fact that there's real legitimate racism out there and this made up nonsense does nothing but dilute each legitimate case. " My response: This is just mind manipulation to save face. If anyone feels as if they have been mistreated, they have a right to express it in a conversation. The language in reference to the derogatory language was not that derogatory in actuality. I used a few profane words out of frustration from such treatment that has been transpiring for years. Freedom of speech is the first amendment. If the manager doesnt lime that then he should leave the country. "Please be advised that we consider his behavior a potential threat to our staff. " My response: Anything indicative of me not staying in my place is a threat from this managers perspective. "Should he return to the premises, he will be promptly issued a trespass warning, and law-enforcement will be contacted. " My response: I have already tress passed myself! And a number of others have done the same. Further! If I am getting second class service, and the manager condones such service, why would I return for more second class service and treatment? This restaurant has nothing I need. Matter of fact it was me who decided to end the conversation and leave, as a result of the manager getting loud and disrupting the peace of his own patrons "He clearly has some serious personal issues and we sincerely hope he gets to help he needsd." My response: i did not like how I was treated as a customer spending MY MONEY. This manager has twisted this into everything that the situation is not. At the end of the day, no matter what color your employee is, she should have greeted me having more than enough time to do it. You dont preferred customers over others especially when they were there first. And you dont add insult to injury by servicing customers after the fact and before the ones that have already been there. And that is why you need to be fired! You lie, you exaggerate, you manipulate, and you are a poor excuse for a team leader. Speaking of police? if you ever approach me in the future about anything I will be filing a complaint, pressing charges, and I will make it my business to have my attorney drag you through both criminal and civil court. We spent $40 on an 18" specialty pizza & 1 order a garlic knots. The garlic knots were burnt on one side, they were dry and tasteless. They are so stingy with the toppings for the pizza. For this reason, it was also dry., we had to use the sauce given to us for the garlic knots to put on the pizza because it was so dry. Really disappointing. I went in today and had an amazing server, marisol did an 11/10 job serving us. Food was very good. I had a very big issue with the way she was being treated by the other employees. The two guys making food in the back were making her noticeably uncomfortable with comments. I overheard them talk about how they would pay to see her naked, touching her, and she seemed very upset. It's been awhile since I updated my review for 900 Degree in the Grove. We've since been back a few more times and I feel it's fair to update. I have not had their veggie pizza since the garlic fiasco because I'm honestly scared I'll get the same thing LOL but their regular cheese pizza we've had a few times now and it doesn't disappoint! Their calzones are MASSIVE and we love the cheese and chicken one (although it could definitely use more protein). Service is usually okay if you dine in. We do take out and dine in equally. We typically dine in when they aren't too busy so it's a nice and quiet lunch. read more

This is the second location I've been to with this specific restaurant name. I'm a big fan of the 900° woodfired pizza in Wesley Chapel over at Wiregrass so I figured I would give this one a shot. I ordered two slices and a drink and it was well under $10. The first slice was quite good. The second slice was a bit aged. Service was fine. This location is larger than the other one in Wiregrass so I'm sure it's good for larger groups and that sort of thing. Visiting Wesley Chapel for Thanksgiving weekend. Wanted NY Pizza, we saw this place, gave it a try and thought it was really good.

Used to be a good sub for ny york style pizza from up north, but last 3 times it's been delivered completely burnt to a crisp. Which makes it dry and inedible. You would think they'd look at the pizza when putting it in the box and cutting it to know it's not up to any kind of pizza standard, but nope. At almost $25 for a pie it's just not worth the 4 try. read more

A friend told me about this place so I gave it a try. My friend had never been either, just said NYC Pizza, so I decided to go. I drove 41 miles to get there from St Pete. Yea, I regretted that decision. I started with just a slice of cheese pizza and a beer to get a feel of this NYC pizza. It took over 20 minutes to get a slice. The waiter never checked in me, no eye contact, nothing. The place wasn't even busy. I saw people come in, order and get their food, while I still hadn't gotten a slice. I was finally able to get my waiters attention. Even he said, wow you still haven't gotten it. He checked, then eventually came back with the slice. It was super dry, over cooked and warm. Yea, I didn't understand the warm part. As you can see in the pic, burnt cheese and dry crust. I saw other tables who had pizza, theirs seemed to look better. Nicely melted cheese and soft crust. Their cheese even slid off the slice because it was hot. I got nothing like that. Ok so I'm convinced it's NOT NYC pizza. Then because I traveled so far, I didn't want to end there. I talked to the same waiter who said the Calzones are good. Ok, I ordered one with pepperoni and sausage. Here we go again, I sat there for another over 25 minutes with nothing. My beer was warm from waiting, no eye contact from the waiter, no checking on the customer. Finally when I did get his attention again, again he was shocked it was taking soooo long. I just said cancel it, I really didn't want to risk it again. He asked if I wanted him to check on it and he did, of course the person behind the counter claimed it had just finished cooking. I told her, first it was a long time on 1 burnt slice, then this. It takes too long to get service and food here. I was done with the aggravation that came with a simple road trip to a pizza spot. Again, it wasn't even crowded. When I asked to cancel, they never even attempted to make anything right. Just, ok. Not even an apology. I left extremely disgusted. I believe the food was bad because the service was bad. I don't know, I've got nothing good to score. When I looked at past reviews, it looks like it's only good if you have an attentive server. I thought it would be the usual pizza place in FL that attempts to make Italian pizzeria-style food. I was wrong. They had "real" Sicilian pizza. The night I went they did not have Sicilian slices, but I was desperate for Sicilian pizza, so I ordered a whole pie. I had 2 slices and took the rest home. I also saw they add a slice of ham in their standard calzone, which is what I am used to. Most places give you a pocket of mozzarella cheese with a spoon of ricotta. Their calzone had the slice of ham on top of the cheese followed by lots of ricotta and mozzarella. It's my go to place for authentic pizza. They also had "Italian Ice" and not water ice or whatever else it's called. read more

This place is is hidden in the Village section of stores and eateries at the Grove. You can walk to it from shopping at Old Navy, Dick's Sporting Goods, etc. lucky for us because we were hungry. They have a lunch special that includes a fountain drink and a slice (it's a large slice). The sauce is delicious and honestly does remind me of pizza that I ate I NJ. They have a large menu including a kids section. I ate a piece of Sicilian and my friends enjoyed a meat lovers and plain. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They also have high chairs and parking very close to the front entrance. The bathrooms are large and easy to access with a baby changing station. We are on a low carb kick and we were craving pizza! So we stumbled upon 900 Degree's NY keto pizza. We have made keto pizza before so we excepted a cheesy cauliflower crust... but I think it was all cheese! It was good but one piece filled us up! We did also get the mozzarella sticks which I loved. I am a sucker for good ole fried cheese. It's hard to rate them as a keto pizza is an odd option in comparison to transitional pies, so I think they are a 4 star rating because they even have a keto pizza on the menu. I think that's an awesome option. We look forward to trying a normal pie on our next visit. read more

We were here about 5:30 on a Friday night, and was told to sit anywhere, but 2 available booths we were looking at were slightly dirty, and had to ask for one to be cleaned. We had to dry the table and the booth seats off ourselves because they were wet. Three of us are from New York, and we know what good New York pizza is. I'm also familiar with 900f oven cooked pizza, and our large cheese pizza was slightly underdone, with slightly doughy crust and slightly underdone white cheese. The cheese was okay, but not as stretchy as what you get in New York. I thought it was a bit odd they had only one draft beer choice available, which was Stella, but plenty of bottled beer choices. By the time we left, the restaurant was packed. Our server was pleasant and efficient. Worth another visit if we were in the area and wanted pizza, but there are so many restaurants in the immediate vicinity, we'd probably try other restaurants before trying this one again. read more
