They are known for using modern technology and offering services for all ages ~ children, teens, and adults, such as Invisalign or your traditional braces. Dr. Lee, Dr. Nguyen and their whole staff are so pleasant to interact and work with. They truly care about each and every one of their patients, young to old. This sort of honesty from a business is extremely rare, and even though my son won't be getting braces here, my daughter definitely will! I simply couldn't believe the attitude and level of professionalism they displayed. Afterward, I checked the clinic's website and social media pages and noticed that most of the staff members who used to work there are no longer with the clinic. Perhaps that's one of the reasons for the decline in the overall patient experience. My experience during treatment was also extremely disappointing. 1. Constant overbooking. Appointments were frequently triple-booked, resulting in very long wait times. 2. Poor communication and coordination. The assistants, front desk staff, and doctor often gave completely inconsistent information. For example, one assistant told me to come back for attachments at my next appointment. When I arrived, the doctor said they weren't needed at all. That trip turned out to be a complete waste of time. 3. Rushed and sloppy care. Because the clinic sees such a high volume of patients, everything felt rushed. Some assistants lacked attention to detail, and the front desk staff provided poor customer service. After six months of treatment, I was told that my treatment was complete. However, I don't see that my primary concern has been addressed, and I have not received any explanation. As a patient, what I care about is: Whether the doctor genuinely listened to my concerns. Whether there was a clear and measurable treatment plan. Whether each stage of treatment was actually carried out according to that plan. Whether the treatment plan was adjusted appropriately based on my progress. Whether the final result achieved the agreed-upon goals; and, if not, why. I haven't seen those qualities demonstrated.

I came in specifically because I was feeling unwell and suspected a blood sugar issue--especially since lab work from a different clinic the prior week showed a fasting glucose level high enough to indicate diabetes. Despite explaining this, the Physician Assistant (PA) dismissed my concerns, told me I "didn't fit the profile" for diabetes, and ordered a thyroid panel instead. Three days later, the support staff called to tell me they lost my blood sample and needed me to come back in. When I expressed frustration that they lost my sample for a test I didn't even ask for--while still refusing to run the metabolic panel I actually needed--the staff member literally hung up on me. I only returned the next day because it is within walking distance of my house and I was having the same feeling again, wanting to get to the bottom of what was happening. While the PA on duty that day was attentive, she ended up sending me to the ER for my blood pressure. After waiting four hours at the hospital, the ER doctor confirmed it wasn't an emergency at all. To top it all off, I received another call from the urgent care informing me that they did eventually run a metabolic panel, and my A1C and fasting glucose levels are, in fact, indicative of diabetes. Between the PA completely dismissing a patient's concerns, the staff losing blood samples, and being hung up on, the lack of professionalism and competence here is alarming. Go somewhere else.

I discovered HOAG by chance and LOVE IT! Every HOAG offices I went to had been very positive and felt heard. CIGNA HMO Select is limited to being within network but it is so affordable compare to all the other HMO and PPO insurances that I had gone through. I don't plan to leave anytime soon and will continue with HOAG for as long as I am able to. This is the newest urgent care location. Parking is open and plenty. Easy Entrance and easy Exit.
