I had braces in the past but didn't wear my retainer, so over time my teeth shifted and I developed problems with my bite. I couldn't close my bite properly, which made it difficult to close my lips. The first one, made from my scan, didn't fit quite right, probably because of the material being different from Invisalign, not sure. THE BEST orthodontist you'll ever see. When you're working on something as important as your smile and teeth, you want someone who has OCD (in the best way possible) like Dr. Passamano. He's a stellar orthodontist who's got amazing bedside manner, is funny, and really cares for his patients. I live in the San Gabriel Valley and I drive an hour or more just to see Dr. Passamano because he's worth the commute. His staff are second to none, they're so polite and friendly. They always make me feel welcome and I honestly don't know how he keeps them so happy but whatever he's doing, it's definitely working! In terms of my treatment, I got Invisalign done with him and I could've finished in a year based off of his estimates. When the year came up, I thought I was all ready to go and Dr. Passamano pointed a slight imperfection with my teeth that he said HE wanted to fix (probably because I wasn't wearing my retainers as religiously near the end - sorry). At first I said no then I called the office and thankfully he reversed my decision and allowed me to get a few more retainers to fix the minor minor imperfection. He never complained or made me feel bad a flip flopping on the correction and supported me all along the way. I checked out Dr. Passamano after receiving a recommendation from a friend of mine. Though the braces treatment was priced a little higher than with the other 3 places I consulted with and the office a little further out, I chose Dr. Passmano because he presented a clear and conservative treatment plan approach, wasn't salesy, and he immediately picked up on my daughter's issues with TMJ (and explained potential impacts/goals with the treatment plan) the minute he examined her mouth even though I didn't mention it at all and none of the other orthod we consulted with noticed it.
