Have had multiple rentals from Barefoot and rent for family when they visit. Never had a problem…read moreuntil this weekend. Cart was dropped off as usual. Everything looked great until the end of the first night when my son noticed the grounding pin had been broken off in the charging cable. The first and second night it charged fine. The morning of return pickup we noticed the unit had not totally charged. I made sure meet the rental staff when they picked it up to inform she. She frankly immediately copped an attitude and said she would charge us for the cord and also for not having the unit charged up on pickup. She indicated we should have called immediately when we noticed. Bottom line, I understand both sides, but we were honest and felt like we were accused of lying. I don't care about the extra charges if warranted, but we didn't damage the cord. They provide great carts. My suggestion? Double check everything and pester the crap out of them if anything is not working. They deserve 5 stars, but copped an attitude. We're not all stupid tourists....

The golf cart was brand new, and very fancy. Gina was very informative in explaining the operation of the cart, but more importantly, she explained the local laws to avoid gettin trouble. We rented our cart shortly after a tropical storm, and I don't know if all the water on the streets made our lights go out. We called, and they immediately responded by bringing us another cart. With the weather conditions the way they were, I am not surprised by the issue we had. Things happen, but it was very impressive on how responsive they were on helping us and switching to another cart. I firmly believe that you find out more through adversity than when things are trouble free. I highly recommend Rally By the Beach, and will definitely use them again when in Panama City Beach. They had to pick it up three times, so the second and third time they did not charge me for pick up or labor. I do not blame them for not noticing the true problem right away because the cart would run great for a week or two and just stop. i.e. when they made the first repair they ran it at their shop for 3 days with no problems, same with the second time. I also couldn't give them a good description of the problem because it would randomly stop and go for no reason. Point is they stood behind their work and help me until it was fix.

We filled out the paperwork that night and Bob had us a cart by 10a.m. the next morning. The cart was an electric Revo cart. On our second day, I ended up thinking I let the battery go dead, Bob was quick to respond /come and charge it using a generator. But after all it was not dead but 75% charge left in battery. I just accidentally bumped the kill switch. Never the less Bob did not charge for the emergency call on a Sunday night. Great experience, communication, and service.

I got a message however it said I could text them on that number. I did and got a reply back in less then two minutes. The prices were more then reasonable and I could take care of the entire transaction online. Now for the rest of the story!!!! The home we rented is one of my personal friends. I asked him which Golf Cart rental place he uses. He said, "None". The home comes with a six passenger golf cart. So I did not have to rent a golf cart after all. BUT, when I do and that will happen, this is the ONLY place I will consider. The world needs to remember that we clients just want professionalism and prompt communication. Answered the phone, coordinated efficiently through text message and made easy the drop off and end of rental process. The Gear fit our needs ( paddle board), and we got appropriately sized life jackets. Could not have had a more efficient service if I had dreamed it up myself. A+ all the way!
