Made an appointment which was a fairly short and smooth process. I also called a couple of times prior to the appointment with some questions and they were answered clearly. The appointment I made was for two people and we were seen at the same time. We were seen fairly promptly after walking in. Blair took really good care of us and provided us with all the information we needed to prepare for our trip. Our appointment was early on a Saturday morning so it wasn't busy, we were actually the only people there. Had a good consultation, although cost was steep (albeit a chunk was the typhoid shot we each needed). However, the follow up has been disappointing. Our appt was April 28. I never heard from the pharmacy that our prescriptions were filled. Called them, Passport never called them in. I called Passport May 9. They called Walgreens. When I went to pick it up, turns out they called in just mine. Didn't call in my husband's or daughter's travel meds. So there was ANOTHER phone call to them to follow up. And there will be ANOTHER trip to Walgreens (assuming they call in the rest of the prescriptions). It's frustrating and disappointing to chase these meds after what we paid for the appts. read more

I visited this office today and they were so informative and helpful! Valerie greeted me at the door and took me back to her office. I was super impressed that she had taken the time to research my prior vaccination records as I need a lot to in order to depart for Ecuador in January 2023. She informed me that I was only missing 2 of the vaccines that were required. She also provided me a lot of information such as recommendations on malaria pills and pamphlets to my desired country. Just go to the health department or pretty much anywhere else. The health department will at least honor their appointments. Passport Health does not care about you as a customer. I am traveling out of country and need Yellow Fever vaccination. There is a global shortage, so only a few clinics in the US are licensed to give the shot at this time. On the website, Passport Health claims that all locations are licensed. This is not true. In the southeast, only the Roswell, GA, clinic is licensed for the yellow fever vaccination. So - I make an appointment at that location even though it is out of state. I was actually thrilled to have the appointment because every other licensed clinic in Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia has a months long backlog for available appointments. There is a 10 day period for the immunization to be effective, and Passport was able to get me in 13 days before my trip! Problem solved! That is until less than a week before my appointment I get an automated text message letting me know that my appointment is being canceled. The only way to schedule or reschedule is through a national call center, so after waiting on hold for 20 minutes I was told that they didn't know when they could reschedule and I would get a call back the next week. They called me today to reschedule for after my trip......... Not only that, the man who called me said that even if I did reschedule, Passport Health does not guarantee their appointments and that it is the customer's responsibility to call and confirm. So now I find myself in a situation where I might be turned away at the border for not having Yellow Fever vaccination. Thanks, Passport Health - you are awful and unreliable. I've heard and experienced that this place is overpriced. So there's that, but aside from that the woman that gave me my shots and advice was a complete witch! So rude, almost yelling at me. When I called to consult a friend about what best to do regarding malaria pills she rushed me off the phone. Oh my god I've never had such an abrasive customer experience situation. Her name was Lisa. When I left I told her I hoped she had a better day. That was my nice way of saying she was ridiculously rude and made me feel uncomfortable. Wanted to write a review because I saw so many bad ones on here. I couldn't have imagined a better experience. My husband and I planned a last minute trip to Africa and needed 6 vacations, yellow fever included. They are one of the 3 places in Georgia that carry the yellow fever vaccine. They were able to see us the day after I called. At the clinic our nurse was super helpful, very informative and wonderful to be around. We got all our vacations for our trip today and we are less than 3 weeks away from leaving. Passport Health made this trip possible for us. read more

I do not recommend this place. This happened awhile ago and thinking about it today as I write this still upsets me due to their unprofessional business practice. I came here to get some more details about their services because I was going on a business trip to India. I called and the lady I spoke to over the one said I could come today to get more details on their services. When I got there I mentioned to the lady at the front desk that I called earlier that day (a couple of hours before) to come in for shot and trip preparation details for my trip overseas. The place was pretty empty. Another lady came out to greet me and took me into her office. She hands me a printed out packet held together by a binder. (It looked like a school project that one would do in middle school for a book report or school presentation). We spoke maybe about 10 minutes and then someone else came to see her and she excused herself to help that individual while I waited for her again. It took a bit of time but no big deal about that. Then she's come back and we talked for a few more minutes and I asked for a pricing sheet for their shots. The prices were very high and on top of that there were a number of shots she recommended I need. I was blown away how expensive everything was going to be. I said thank you for the pricing information but I will not be getting the shots today. You can tell she was a little upset by that and she escorts me out of her office and tells me that I must still pay for the services. What services? I didn't get anything done. I was very confused to why I was being asked to pay for not getting anything done. She said that even though I didn't get any shots or services done I still have to pay the $40-50 fee... I was still perplexed by this request. She goes on to tell me that she gave me a binder of information. I let her know that I did not need that (and I thought that was understood because I left it on her desk in her office before I left her office). The lady at the front desk as well as the lady in the office were both making me feel uncomfortable and still stating that I needed to pay. I asked to speak to someone else higher up but was told no one was there. I reluctantly paid the money and left. Oh, after I paid the lady told me I can take the printed packet that probably cost a total of $4 to put together. I was shocked at the way this business operated. I felt it was an unprofessional way of handling business. I still can't believe I paid for services that I did not even get. The only thing I asked for was pricing information. Very disappointed on how they conduct their business and will definitely not be coming back here again. Shame on them for taking advantage of people and operating in a way just to make some money. read more

I had a great experience with Passport Health. While I took care of my passport and visa paperwork on my own, I was able to get an almost immediate appointment at this location to get four vaccinates I needed before I departed for my trip to Asia, where I'll be working for several months. I also want to specifically mention by name the great service I received from nurse Cindy R. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and didn't push any vaccines on me that she didn't genuinely think I needed for my trip. On top of that, she was genuinely warm, kind, thoughtful, and had a great conversation with my dad, when they discovered that they went to different high schools in the same town in the Midwest where they both grew up. But, even if that weren't the case, she went above and beyond to make sure our experience was as great as possible, even asking which was my dominant hand so that she could put the tetanus shot in the other arm so it wouldn't hurt so much when I used my dominant hand that day. One thing I've noticed on here is a lot of complaining about the costs of the vaccines. Be forewarned: vaccines are expensive. They costs drug companies millions, sometimes billions to develop. If you want the vaccine, shut up and pay for it. If you want to take the risk, that's fine too, and that's a perfectly normal, economical decision many people choose to make. But it's not this facility's fault that vaccine costs are so high, and as a (I assume) for-profit business, they have a right to make some profit off of the services they offer. And before you say go to the health department, know that their prices are actually quite similar (at least in my county) and I was referred to this location BY the county because it's back to school season and they were running low on inventory. Here's the bottom line: if you're going to a part of the world where you COULD get an infection, and you are willing to pay to prevent that, this is a top tier provider of vaccinations in metro Atlanta. While I did have to pay upfront for the vaccines, I was given a receipt to give to my insurance company to see if I could get reimbursed for any of my vaccinations (I believe I'll be reimbursed for about half of my cost.) I also want to respond specifically to "Ester K." who left a negative review: while the physical paper and binding might have only cost $4 to put together, the INFORMATION and intellectual property of it is what you were charged for, and personally, I love that I have a ton of information to take with me on my trip in the instance that I get sick. The point of making a binder for clients is for them to have real, professional medical information when they go abroad, NOT to try to make additional profit off of clients. As well, by signing up for the appointment slot, they potentially gave up seeing another client. It's a common, best practice for clinics across the United States. And frankly, I went into my appointment knowing the prices of the vaccines and that I would have to pay up front for them, even getting a quote over the phone prior to my appointment so I could adequately plan for it. As far as I can tell, from the account you left on your review, Passport Health did nothing wrong. Tl;DR- this is a great, professional location, I'm extremely happy with the service I was provided, and I'm also pretty jazzed about not dying of an infectious disease that is easily prevented with a vaccine. read more

Worst customer service ever! Cancel appointments and don't tell you. Talked with me for over 30 min about how I didn't have an appt then found in the computer where it used been internally cancelled. In those 30 min I could have been seen and given what I needed for travel. Then asked if I could take time off work to come to a new appointment?!?! Seriously! Great friendly service and the staff very knowledgeable. They were able explain in detail what vaccinations I needed for my trip. It is expensive so be ready. For the Vaccinations I was required to get it wasn't something I could just go to CVS or the city clinic to receive so it is what it is . I highly recommend Passport Health Clinic. read more

Friends of mine who had just returned from Africa suggested Passport Health. Great experience. Jennifer was excellent in rearranging my appt. I scheduled a COVID test for travel with Passport Health. The person I met with in the office was perfectly fine and professional. I was told that even though the forms all said 72 hours the RT-PCR test results were usually less than that. So when I paid for my test on Tuesday, 2/16 I thought there was no risk about my Saturday travel plans. Hearing nothing I called the main number on Friday at around 11:45AM. I was told my test was still pending and I could expect results in 3-4 hours. When I called back at 4, I was told for the first time that my specimen never reached the lab. Then, after the person on the telephone talked to "the nurse"  I was told that the delay was due to weather. I asked where the lab was that it was headed to and I was told California. I assume they pick that lab because they have a good deal. There was no bad weather in Georgia or California during the preceding week.  I asked if they could trace the specimen and she did not know. Passport Health failed in every possible way. And then made what I view as false claims about why. There was bad weather in Texas and a number of other states the week of my test. But that would only be an issue if they were driving the specimen from GA to CA. That could not have been the case on a test with a 48 to 72 hour turn around. Planes were flying all day every day to California. When it was clear Passport Health was going to fail, no one called to give me a heads up. Instead, I was told some things someone fabricated. I had to postpone a trip that had been planned for almost 10 months. I was able to scramble around a find another local company who did the same test and guaranteed 12 hour results for less money. So I made the trip three days later. The second company did what they said they were going to do. I don't write many reviews. Please find another Company. This one does not deserve your business or my business. read more

Staff was very friendly and welcoming the day of the appointment. My husband and I spent over $800 for the consultation and two vaccines each. I was given a prescription for malaria prevention, which will be completely covered by my insurance company, but a 10 question pre-authorization or clinical exception form from the doctor is required. Simple, right? Wrong...Passport Health will not do this simple task so I will have to pay out of pocket for the cost of the malaria medication. I did not ask them to file any insurance claims, which they do not do, but I asked them to provide the pre-authorization form for a drug they prescribed so I can file the insurance. Worse customer service ever and I definitely will never recommend or use them again. The shame of this business is that they have almost a captive audience for the Yellow Fever vaccine so many clients have no choice but to use them. Buyer beware! DO NOT GO there especially if you have insurance!!! If you don't have insurance and need malaria medicine, buy it through the GoobRx app for $50, do not pay over $200! I went to passport health in Roswell and asked my nurse, Renee B., if they took insurance and when she said no, she said I would just need to submit a reimbursement to get insurance to pay for it. Passport Health charged me $201.25 per person (3 of us) to get Malaria medicine. She had to call my youngest daughters prescription in and I paid $10. When I submitted the insurance claim, the approved amount for that medicine is $49.75 so I was out $151.50 per person, $454.50. I was told that was the price I pay for the convenience of a 1 stop. However, I reminded Stacy from their Corporate office, that it wasn't 1 stop because I still had to go to the pharmacy to get my youngest daughters prescription. The nurse Renee also tried to do my husband's Hep A & B and TDAP immunizations for hundreds of $$ and I said no and told him to go to our family dr. because those were free. If you have insurance, go to your family dr. and have them write the prescription and do the immunizations. According to their website: "Passport Health is your travel medicine and health concierge. " I thought a concierge was supposed to give you the best advice and all Passport Health wants to do is make money and upsell anyway possible! I would never do business with them again and I will keep writing reviews to try to help other families that think they are going there for the best advice but end up pay hundreds of $$$ more! read more

I do not recommend this place front desk nice but extremely overpriced. I was there on this past Friday and received a yellow fever shot, and was charged $260. However I asked how much the fee prior to booking I was told $150, I didnt have my notes with me but when I got home I verified that I had $150 written down as the fee. I then googled other places and prices and found sure enough $140-200 including the office fee was the going rate. I was charged an additional fee of $65 (total $325 - 1 shot) and my spouse charge $40 for not even receiving a shot. I will never use Passport Health again. 2 stars since the front desk lady was nice. read more
