I don't get the poor review here or why more people haven't reviewed this spot. Past Meets Present is a high-end vintage shop located in downtown Chagrin Falls and is in a shared space with White Magnolia. This space is immaculate. Its a Pinterest dream filled with gorgeous decor, vintage flair and serious personality. The owner of the shop has noticeably put a deep attention to detail in every square inch of her four walls. Its seriously beautiful and every shelf is vastly different than the last. They carry clothing, accessories ranging from pins to hats, handbags, jewelry, shoes, artwork and more. The items cater to a more sophisticated vintage buyer, which made me happy. They have beautiful couture and high-end fashion but most of it was in very small sizes, so I didn't try to get attached (however, if you're tiny, you will be in Parisian couture nirvana). For me, their selection of jewelry stood out. From giant vintage gemstones to 20's inspired costume jewelry, each piece looked like it had a special story. With so many diverse trays, one could get lost for hours going through them all. The gal working was helpful and showed us several pieces. Again, I can't believe more haven't reviewed this interesting and inspired spot. I'll be back again. read more

I found this place off of Main Street two years ago. What a find! Beautiful antique items and a lot of "new." Now I take my pilgrimage every year at Christmas time to that shop to find just the right gift for my my staff and family members. The owner, Preston Beck, is exquisite as is her staff. They are so knowledgeable, and helpful. If you don't want help, off you go. No noses in your shopping. If you want help, they will give you TIME. In fact, I found a beautiful necklace for my secretary - oh I paid for it, but she wouldn't give it to me just yet because the clasp was a bit off. She's fixing it. This is an A + classy store that will not fail you. And they will work with you in terms of price and payment. This is a must find. read more

I've lived near this area my entire life and just happened upon this store. The only downside is how much time you might lose going through all of the amazing items that they've pulled together. Staff was helpful, merchandise was easy to see and the name really does reflect what you'll find - amazing high end vintage paired with new but unique finds.
