I will definitely be going to another in the future, our group had a blast. The event is BYOB so bring a bottle of your fave vino and they supply the glasses. There's a brief break halfway through where you can shop the store with 10% off! Great spot to get gifts for both acquaintances and your loved ones.

If you cancel too late, you get no money back. Planned an event for someone. They cancelled the day before, via email. No phone call. The day before? We can't make alternative arrangements now. Things are all booked! So you get to take my money and cancel at the very last minute without any financial consequences, while I have no right to do the same? And now, thanks to the poor decision I made to be your customer, I am now left in a lurch? It seems these people are greedy and disrespectful. They wait till the last minute in the hope of garnering business and cancel, leaving their customers in a lurch. And their preferred way to tell you about it is over email. What if someone did not get the email or did not see it? Do you think that is reasonable? What if they show up? You should ACTUALLY SPEAK to the person and confirm they know it is cancelled. Do not bother with this company. Unless you like to be disrespected.

I also ordered pick up for just myself another time. Lots of dessert & pre-made meal choices. Even if you're just stopping for something to drink, you'll enjoy browsing through the little shop. They're focused on Italian specialty items but have a mix of other goods there too. Staff are always friendly & are very patient with my packing logistics so I can carry everything myself while using my cane. There's seating inside & on the patio. I'm yet to go early enough in the day to enjoy the patio or on a nicer weather day but I do appreciate the very sturdy ramp up to the restaurant/shop doors & patio. Decent amount of parking too. Quick to drive to from Duncan & I first noticed this place when I took Lake Road for different views. Immediately off the main road but pay close attention to google maps (or whatever you use) when you're driving to the restaurant. As you see the sign & restaurant after you should be slowing down to turn into driveway. By my third visit, I knew what to look for & I didn't have to circle back. Looking forward to stopping here in 2026 & trying more items off the menu.

The ambiance instead was quaint with limiting seating We got the last rhubarb tart to try and ofc a pain au chocolat! The rhubarb tart was more fibrous than I anticipated but I enjoyed the lemony mousse under it though my taste buds were a bit confused by what might've been a date jam base (a structurally complex treat!) Though the pain au chocolat was executed well so I'd recommend that if you're in the area

This is regarding the racist behaviour of the bald one. Before I get gaslit, this happened to myself and my friend and we are both people of colour. I lined up first, a white woman came in while I was already in line, instead of taking my order he looked straight at her and helped her. The lady turned to me to check if it was ok and I said yes because I gave the bald one the benefit of doubt. He then takes her order then leaves. Whatever, I get helped by the other guy a minute later. After 10 mins, my friend goes up to order, she is in line when another white woman walks in. Instead of taking my friend's order, he skips her and helps the white woman who sounded surprised (clearly my friend was ahead of her). Don't know what to make it this as it happened to us both and we are both visible minorities. It can't be a coincidence. I've worked as cashier for years and you can always see/get a feel of the line (mind you the line had max 4 ppl at peak) so it shouldn't have been a coincidence to skip us so blatantly both at different times. The pastries tasted sour by the end when we both recollected how we were treated. Racism is well and alive I guess, no matter how subtle. If you have melanated skin, beware.

They're in a small plaza that also houses a couple other food warehouse spots. We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon (around 1:30pm) and there were several customers inside. There were 6 types of beef jerky (apparently, there's usually more options). The one worker was friendly and explained each of his flavours. He let us try a few samples before using a machine to cut up the jerky into bite sized portions. If you don't visit Port Moody often, you can get AT's biltong at African Breese Specialty Foods (in Kitsilano). Biltong is different from the usual beef jerky; no added salt, low in fat and gluten free. - Hunters biltong beef ($10.00) - thinly sliced and fresh with a softer texture/bite. - Chili bites ($10.00) - if you like a kick, get these.
