The focaccia was pretty good: I really like the generous bits of flaky salt on top of the bread. However, I wish they could toast it a little bit. Sitting out all day, the bread definitely dried up a little bit. Additionally, the rosemary sprinkled on top of the bread added a distinct bitterness. I eventually got used to it, but my wife who only took a few bites out of the bread immediately called out the bitterness and didn't want any more.

My carbonara was sensational one of the best pastas I've had in vancouver. Very well balanced. Excellent flavour profile. My friend also loved her meal and said her coffee was also one of the best shes ever had. My small jam cookie was delicate and sweet. Very impressed. The atmosphere definitely added to the experience. Rainy day and a warm pasta shop. Tables alive with conversation. (The only downside was the washroom definitely left things to be desired. We complained to the server and brought the bread for her to see. She offered some explanation about refrigeration but I think if the bread had actually been frozen, it would have been ok, our bread was actually old. Days old. She made us a MUCH better replacement sandwich. Just the one. I think if this new venue for ARC products is going to stay successful, consistency must be maintained. I did not take a picture of my sandwich but the grilled bacon and tomato panini could not be any more perfect with an orange pop for lunch in their sidewalk seating under the wintry sun. The sandwich was piping hot coming out of the heater. The breads were crispy and the thick bacon slices filled every bite.
