Thai Chicken Salad Alfredo Bread Basket

This is one on those places that the out side dose not do it just the food and the setting should be in some nice old part of town from the beautiful Italian inspired art work to the taste every item that I got was full of flavor . The Alfredo I could actually taste the creaminess of it and the cheese, the Thai chicken salad was probably one of the best salads that I have had , service was amazing friendly. The portions were generous . Absolutely recommend this place for family or even a date night

Really enjoyed the fast, casual, and great food. Staff was very friendly and had good recommendations for us first timers. We tried the jambalaya, spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread. Everything smelled and tasted delicious. Half way through I realized I forgot to take photos. I'm also not big on bread but the sauce was so good, I kept wanting to dip. Definitely worth all the calories.

Came in again with our 12 year old. She is very picky. She got the lasagna and devoured it in a few minutes. Quick valentines dinner was a success! Happy we can bring the kiddo back as well. This place never disappoints.

My wife and I stopped by for a quick and unplanned "date nite." When we arrived at 6:30 pm on Saturday we saw no one in the dining room (hmmm), but we decided to dive in. The place is quaint and a bit of a "hole in the wall" as it is in a strip mall. BUT, they have done a great job with the design. We were greeted promptly and placed our order at the counter. Quick payment and we were off to the table. Note: You grab your own silverware and fill you own drinks. The food came out quickly. Bread. Salad. Main course. Not a bad deal. I had a simple bowl of pasta for $10.95. My wife's order came in a just under $20. The food looked and tasted great. By the time the food arrived, five more groups came in. Overall, we liked the place, and expect to come back.

Decent pasta served with a side of bread or salad. Self service place and food arrives quickly once the order is placed. I personally prefer garlic/butter/pesto or white sauce base pasta over Tomato. Visited them with my friends and we all enjoyed the meal except one. They do offer gluten free or eggless pasta option. Decent place for a quick pasta meal.

Pasta Pronto serves up nice pasta, sandwiches, soup and salad in a comfortable atmosphere. This is one of those places where you order and pay at the counter, are given a number and the food is brought to your table. You fetch your own water/ soda, silverware and napkins. The dining room is small. There are boxes stacked up in the far corner that ruin the atmosphere a bit. Putting up a curtain to cover this space would help. The lady at the counter has always been pleasant and efficient. The food comes to the table almost too fast. We've barely begun eating our salads when our entrees arrive. In Europe salad is eaten after the main course and that's the best way to enjoy it here, otherwise your entree will get cold. The menu offers something for everyone and they are happy to make substitutions if needed. As a vegetarian, I always appreciate this. Meals are served with bread and salad. While the food is not gourmet Italian, it certainly is tasty and well worth the fair prices charged. There is plenty of parking and since they're near Marshall's, you can work your meal off by shopping afterward! Mangia!

Great place for pasta in a casual setting. This place has a variety of pasta dishes and sandwiches on the menu. We placed an order for takeout and it took about 20 minutes for the order to be ready. We ordered a couple of pasta dishes; both dishes were still hot when we were about to eat. The pastas came with bread which were still warm as well. Some of the veggies in the pasta were not very fresh, but it didn't take away from the flavor of the dish.

I'm impressed, and wondering how I've never been here before. I basically only noticed it because I went to the restaurant right next store (which is also delicious but that's another story!) I got the Carbonara, it was amazing! Super creamy, perfect amount of prosciutto, peas, and mushrooms. Literally ate until I was absolutely stuffed. Fresh bread they bought to my table was super good too. I will most definitely be back.

It had been a while, so last night I ordered the chicken Cesar salad... couldn't believe what was brought to my table. It was seemingly shrunk by about 40%! I mean there was literally 5 shards of chicken and really, barely a lunch serving for the regular $19 dinner size. My wife immediately commented on it when it came to the table and when I asked the server he was adamant it was the dinner portion. This may be the final straw. I'd be curious if anyone else had experienced something similar recently!? I'm sure we can find other options for Italian going forward Update! The business went out of their way to make amends. It…read morehad been a while since I ordered from them so apparently they changed how they do things... good to know not to order again. I am not a fan of reheated pasta and I cannot eat a vat of pasta in a sitting. I discovered I could order a kid size fettuccine alfredo. I always order a side of spinach and a meatball. I was disappointed in everything but flat out shocked at the meatball. The 'side' of spinach in the pasta. There were maybe 3 leaves of spinach and they charged me $1 per leaf. The pasta had almost no flavor. At least there was a side of parmesan because it added a little bit for flavor on the noodles but I did not bother eating much. I figured I would eat some of the bread. The side of garlic bread was cooked to complete hardness... I appreciate it toasted, but when my fillings are struggling because it's like biting down on a rock... that's not toasted, that's burnt. Which brings me to the meatball which was genuinely split completely open and the meat really looked terrible... like weirdly cooked. Since it was delivered, many would say that the delivery person literally opened the meatball but no... it was sealed by the restaurant and considering it's sitting on top of the pasta - it was 'placed' there intentionally. I cannot imagine someone in a kitchen that serves meals to patrons dumping it in there unless they were assuming that since it's a kid's meal, no one's gonna care. Stuff like that really does make me mad to where I don't think I'm going to order from this restaurant again. That does make me sad because this is the only place that really does Italian food and offers a lot of vegetables you can get with your meal but being charged $17 for a tiny box of food that looks like this. I added a photo in the photos if anyone wants to see the proof.

We got some drinks and started off with their Caesar salad and the fried polenta. The Caesar was good, but I wished we had more leaves for the price. The polenta fries were very tasty, not amaaaazing and super salty. They didn't need the blue cheese butter dip at all. For dinner we tried the smoked salmon squid ink pasta and the cioppino. The cioppino was alright, one perk was that the shellfish was already pulled out of the shell, and had a lot of small pieces of squid but I would have preferred bigger squid pieces. And more bread to go with it. The smoked salmon pasta was very rich and heavy. It was good but it too benefited from some bread to go with all that savory salty goodness. Service was also okay, nothing special. We to flag down staff to get more bread. Overall, not amazing, not terrible. Decarli fell short of my expectations. There are plenty of other amazing Italian places in Portland that would rather make the trip out for.

Dearest gentle readers,…read more A most scandalous correction must be issued how careless of me. The establishment in question is none other than the divine Grassa, a name that now rolls off the tongue with the same richness as its most indulgent fare. And oh, what fare it is. Here, along the lively stretch of Portland, one may witness noodles brought to life before their very eyes fresh, authentic, and handled with a confidence that borders on audacity. These delicate strands are then enrobed in a mac and cheese so decadently composed, so brazenly elevated, that it dares to redefine comfort itself. And just when one believes it cannot be improved enter the pig belly. Crisp, tender, and unapologetically rich... a finishing touch that transforms the dish into something whispered about in only the most exclusive of circles. Yes, dear reader, this is the sort of indulgence that lingers long after the final bite... the kind that ruins lesser versions without remorse. And so, with that final truth properly set, I take my leave once more. The tales of this fair city draw to a close, but not without leaving behind a most delicious legacy. Until our next adventure ever eastward. Yours most faithfully,
