Started off with warm, fresh bread w/olive oil & balsamic for dippin and a beautiful green salad. Next up was the Smoked Salmon & Bow Tie pasta. This dish is so creamy, smokey, and I could taste every single ingredient. My husband enjoyed the juciest meatball sandwich, he said the sauce was amazing. Then it's time for dessert, we couldn't decide which one so, we ordered a slice of poppyseed & rasberry cake, unfortunately I thought it tasted like a dried out poppyseed muffin. As well as a slice of tiramisu cake, which was so damn good. This my 3rd time enjoying Pasta Pronto. I look forward to trying everything on the menu. BTW we sat next to an elderly couple who spoke with the owner whom graciously greeted the couple. They apparantly have been eating at his resturants for over 20 years. read more

Pasta Pronto has been hit or miss with us in its various locations over the last 6-7 years. Some of our experiences have been better than others. This time we had food brought to us by Delivered Dish. I will be honest, we tried to get it from Bugatti's first but they werent accepting any more orders. My Princess NEEDED salmon pasta and NOW. The good: -We like the bread in both plain and garlic versions. -The pasta is typically al dente. -They let you choose a pasta, sauce, and add in protein for a reasonable amount of money. My daughter's requested angel hair, alfredo, and salmon was about $5-6 less than it would be from Bugatti's. - Veggie sides are reasonable and cooked well. My asparagus was really good this time. - The family dinners are a deal. The bad: -They microwave a lot. If you go in, you see and hear that. - The food is salty. Somes REALLY salty. -The side salad has ALWAYS been straight from a bag with the same not awesome dressing despite years of feedback that its bad from patrons. -Occasional weirdness. Frozen breaded eggplant slab in the veggie lasagna. Family ravioli that has curly noodles in the bottom of the container to bulk it up cheaper. Mushrooms and mushy peas in the carbonara. Now I like mushrooms and peas but carbonara is egg, bacon, parm,pepper, and pasta. Period. I like that it's local. Alex, the chef/owner is usually friendly. I'm definitely glad the interior seems less dusty ( there used to be a lot of Italian themed kitch) and more sparse/streamlined/clean. So I will continue to try. i like supporting local family owned restaurants but not when the upcharges aren't warranted and prices are always increasing when quality goes down and portions get skimpy. inflation hits us all but not an excuse to burden customers with higher prices without attention to quality. not sure how a salad dressing change costs $1.50 more than another? please fix your prices so we can continue to justify supporting when other options are there. been going here for few years and might stop based on the past few experiences being subpar. read more

I will start by saying their food is delicious. That aside it seems like they have a minority of tremendously skilled cooks and some bad cooks. The quality of the dish that I order fluctuates from being amazing to being horrid. Also the restaurant turns off GrubHub doordash and Uber eats as soon as they're slightly busy which is a huge inconvenience during covid. I order extra sauce and cheese and 2/3 times they are stringent even though they are charging me extra. Some of the cooks cook the noodles almost beyond Al dente when I get penne. read more

I've been going to Pasta Pronto periodically since 2007, and I still like it a lot. I came here yesterday after some medical drama. Feeling really defeated, I decided to "treat myself"! I drove straight to Pasta Pronto and ordered my favorite: Pasta Carbonara. I grabbed my own water and utensils, and the waitress quickly delivered the fresh hot bread, butter, salad and my pasta. It smelled amazing, and the combination of the creamy sauce and salty prosciutto was exactly what I needed! PS. A while ago, I was doing a "meal train" for my coworker who has Italian heritage. So i went to Pasta Pronto asking for suggestion. They catered my to-go order according to their need and make sure it's refrigerator friendly since it won't get delivered til later. My coworker was utterly impressed, and said "this shop knows what they are doing"! Her little one loved the meatball so much, she ate most of them herself! Pasta Pronto is a fairly non-descript, counter order place in a strip mall but don't let that fool you. The food is delicious and plentiful. I am particularly fond of their meat lasagna. It is a delite! The warm bread and salad that accompanies entrees are also very good and a welcome perk, since so many restaurants now are all about a la carte. Chris is one of the best workers I run across - he has a pleasant demeanor, greets the customers with a warm welcome, and if you eat inside, will serve the food directly to your table. I thought he might have been the manager because he genuinely cares that customers are treated well. But he said he was a worker there. Was there on Thursday 5/19/22. I always phone in my order at least twice a week and I use terms of endearment like baby, honey, etc. He asked me not to so I apologized and tried to make light if situation w silky jokes. I frequent this restaurant quite often but today's food was unacceptable! I ordered the fruit and turkey salad. There was no provolone cheese in the salad and a lot of celery. I ordered for and paid for 2 extra slices of bread, didn't receive the extra bread and the bread was cold. Don't think I will go back again. You need to pay attention to your orders. read more

With a sad heart I am compelled to write this WARNING. I placed an order for Tortellini Rustica at $13.95, traditional Lasagna at 11.95 and a side of 2 meatballs at $2.00 each for a total of $29.90 but they wanted to charge me $33.90 and they insisted that I ordered extra salad dressing, which I did not. I think they must be charging customers and pocketing the money. Nice little Italian restaurant in Tanasbourne. The menu had a bunch of pasta options (pre-set or make your own), sandwiches, salads and soups. Their make-your-own-pasta option is especially appreciated, when you come with a small child who can be picky! We enjoyed all our food. I was treated very rudely by the staff here without provocation. I said to the employee with a calm voice that she didn't have to be rude to me and while walking away from me she shouted "I don't care!". I asked for the manager, seeking a customer service professional who could help resolve the issue. I was shocked that the employee witnessing this whole thing and doing nothing claimed to be the manager. When I asked the manager for her manager's card or information she refused to give it to me. I was skeptical walking in to this tiny storefront tucked into a strip mall, but my meal was fabulous. the house salad arrived first with a fantastic dressing and warm chewy amazing bread with butter. Next came my vegetarian lasagna, which was an enormous portion, that my partner helped me polish off. Full of fresh veggies, cheesy and sauce!! Great food, especially for the price. I advise strongly others frequenting this business, after the "experience" I had with the owner yesterday. I was both a good customer (who most of the time tipped for takeout because I was happy the restaurant survived Covid restrictions) and an Uber Eats driver. Nothing but good experiences from staff up until yesterday. As a driver, I walked in to pick up two deliveries yesterday. I showed the person at the register my phone with the names on the orders, and he pointed me to the Uber Eats table. The owner snidely asked me if I saw the table when I walked in. I told him the order on the table was not one of my deliveries, and showed him the names on my phone. He quickly reached for my phone and said "let me have that " I pulled my phone away and told him I'll handle my phone. He angrily said if I have a question,then "I work for him." He then mocked me to his staff, even when I explained with Covid, I'm not comfortable with him handling my phone. I told him I was a good customer in addition to being an Uber Eats driver who frequently picks up at his restaurant, and that I would never come back.I would encourage others to find other options for take out, as this nasty and unprofessional owner doesn't know the first thing about good customer service. Difficult to decide if the customer service or the food is better! Both absolutely superb.

Books and pasta? Yes, it's possible. Right across the parking lot from the Barnes and Noble near the Tanasbourne area which straddles Beaverton and Hillsboro is an Italian food place. Being in a strip mall, it also has plenty of parking. I really wanted to like Pasta Pronto. It's a likable enough place. One orders at the front cash register, pays, and they bring the food out to you. (You could also call it in or order it to go based on seeing and hearing what others were doing.) The employee working at the cash register was fairly diligent in answering questions in order to "break the tie" between various entrees. The prices are very fair. The interior is simple, modern, and clean. And the food was o.k. I went with Pasta Pronto's lasagna, which comes with a salad and bread. The salad was a nice sized portion. Be sure to ask what kind of dressing your salad comes with because it will otherwise default to the house's rendition of Italian dressing. While I can inhale Italian food, I don't like Italian salad dressing. They obliged in changing it to a dressing that I liked. As for the lasagna itself, the quantity was definitely satisfying but it didn't have as workable and as al dente of a texture that I've had in other places which have set the bar. If you've eaten a lot of lasagna, then you'll know what I'm talking about. Still, it was good. However, there's room for improvement. While I generally don't do this, I ordered dessert. I asked what the different items in the case were. Interestingly enough, at least at the time of ordering, the tiramisu looked appealing because it came surrounded with white frosting, making it look like some sort of tiramisu cake. It, too, was good, but not as moist as I would have liked. I saw what a person eating nearby had ordered and the portion size caught my attention. I believe it was an Italian themed chicken dish on a bed of pasta. This girl was digging into her entree with gusto and having a good time with her friends. That said, there are obviously other things to try. Pasta Pronto is a solid 3, possibly reaching into the higher 3s. It's not a 4 because the food is central to the rating, despite friendly employees and a nice enough place where you can eat in. read more

Went with a friend upon recommendation. Wow excellent meals. Comes with a salad and fresh bread! Got Chicken Parm which was good portion so took half home. Also got Totrtellini Rustica to take home and again good sized portion, delicious chicken and the bread was even better warmed up.
