Ordered delivery with ddish from here. The portion of pasta for build your own was so small. The pasta was fine, but it barely satisfied my hunger. My wife got the meatball sandwich. It was so overstuffed, that it had to be eaten with a fork and knife. They would be better off calling it an open faced sandwich. I don't think I will order from here again. read more

I really hate to give Negative reviews but Here we go. My wife and I have been a loyal customers of Pasta Pronto for a few years now. Over the Past Year we have ordered from here about 30 times. 24 times we have had to call back to say something was missing like Dressing that we paid extra for or cheese, Turkey Ect. Today is what really finally broke the straw. I called and Ordered our Salad's with Extra Dressing like we do every week, Again they misses the 2 Extra containers of dressing that we pay $1 Extra per dressing container. I called and spoke to a nice employee who was new and she said she was happy to help, i explained ill be in shortly for the dressings, When i Showed up, I explained who i was and had also pointed out that I have always called and complained about something missing and that maybe there is something they can pass along to the others. The Owner/Manager (the younger one) Comes from behind the counter after the lady gave me the Dressing and states "Whats your problem, I explained that this is a weekly affair of having to come back or having meals compensated", The Owner/Manager was very intimidating in his voice and posture started explaining how they are short staffed.(For someone who always goes there, 5 people in the back chit chatting is not understaffed) I then explained how i spoke to the Original Owner (The Chef) 2 Weeks ago about The Salad Dressing tasting not right, This was during the power outage, that was like pulling teeth, So the Younger Owner starts saying that he remembers me and that I always have problems, As i try to interrupt and tell him the person i dealt with was on the other side of the counter (The Chef) he kept stating that that was untrue. I was told that the issues I keep experiencing with their rsturaunt are my fault for not checking my order when I'm in a hurry home afterwork. (This Shouldn't be like McDonalds where they Mess Up your Order constantly) The Last comment he made was if i have so many problems then our business isn't welcomed and kicked me out. Warning to future customer's Food is Great but the Young Management needs some lessons in customer service. I don't care how you were handed your job, but you CANNOT treat your customer's poorly, Especially when you live Next Door. I have to say...the name doesn't do this restaurant justice. The flavors that are developed in their dishes are delicious. I've not been disappointed, from the warm sourdough to the salad (it's a basic salad...romaine lettuce but the dressing is a light Caesar & great starter) I recommend the Cajun Jambalaya Pasta & Pasta Fresca. You can't go wrong. They have sandwich's and build your own pasta as well as weekly specialties. If you can, leave room for dessert...they offer a variety of beautiful cakes & yummy bars. This is a good pasta joint tucked in the corner near Chase bank. I found this place by accident while diving around and tried it for lunch. They have nice variety of pasta dishes accompanied by salad and home made bread. I tried the pasta primavera special with added grilled chicken and it was good. The dishes are large enough to split and they would gladly do that for you. I have my eye on the tiramisu and will try it next time. read more

Nice homemade bread, and home made pasta. Sauce was nice and spicy. Good service as well. The interior decor is a bit meh however, and the pricing is a bit high given the lack of ambiance. It's a weird mix between casual and restaurant this place. I would suggest lowering the price to make it more of a casual lunch place, or keeping the price and making it a nicer eat out type of place. read more

Pasta Pronto is one of those places where you wish Yelp allowed individual menu items could be rated. We've had good items, love their spinach salad, and mediocre items. Yesterday we had penne with marinara sauce. The penne was perfectly cooked. The marinara sauce was about as big a bust as one get. It's a simple sauce that should taste like summer fresh tomatoes or at least like canned San Marzano plum tomatoes. Yesterdays tasted like spoiled tomatoes with some hot spice thrown in to mask the off-flavor. Same, really, as their is no easier pasta sauce to make than marinara. Do better, please. read more

This place has turned into a take out factory without any type of hospitality. The kids in charge of taking care of customers clearly don't care about what service they are providing. Never ordering take out here again. The original owner would be ashamed. Seriously, learn how to have hospitality, manners, and provide the service of making sure your customers get the right order off that table of crowded unlabeled bags. Especially when you are getting tipped for standing behind a counter with a vacant expression like you miss staring at your phone because a customer bothered tou. I don't know why it is so hard to find a quick pasta place here in the area... so I will admit that my expectations were not very high when I first tried this place. I am so happy to say that I was wrong! This is now my go-to quick Italian place when I am on that side of town (please put one in over near Tigard!!). I have tried 4 different dishes that were on their list of options and they have all been wonderful. The southwestern chicken plate is by far my favorite so far, but it is a special they offer from time to time and not on their regular daily menu. If someone was to tell me to put black beans and corn in my pasta I would have thought they were crazy but it works and it is absolutely wonderful! read more

I go here a lot with my friend for dinner and before band events/practices, so I thought it was time I wrote a review on it. (They really like pasta, and we've gone to a lot of pasta places in the area). Take this review with a grain of salt (however that saying goes), because I don't have the most refined of palettes and I'm not particularly picky about my food. Service is good, if you're wondering, but I usually don't like basing reviews off of that one factor, because people have their off days and I feel like reviews should be more based off of food. However I understand that's a factor that people take in deciding where to eat. However, I can't comment on ambience because that's something I plain don't notice and care about. Food is decent for the price I guess, and the wait time isn't long. Normally I get tortellinis or something else with a white sauce or clam sauce. They make their mac and cheese, (something you can never go wrong with) with the same base as their white sauce, and it is excellent. Anything I've tried here is good basically so far, so I don't have any complaints about the food. Same with my friend. The food also comes with bread, butter, and salad which is nice and typical of an Italian restaurant. TL;DR: It's a nice place for the price, service is nice, food is decent. It's a nice place to check out if you want pasta quick. read more

Me and my friend went for dinner here, our first time there, the serving lady was sweet and helpful. We wanted something spicy to eat and they readily agreed to make changes to what was on the menu. We ended up having vegetarian lasagna and four cheese ravioli with creamy cajun sauce. The food was served fast and was delicious and fulfilling. Some friends of mine ordered a family size dinner from uber eats. My friend paid the full price and had confirmation. But we got an individual size. She called told them and they were closing. But since we were close and clearly needed our full order he said we could come get it. It sucked because we wanted it delivered for a reason, but because pasta is life we had to go. The manager was apologetic to confirm uber eats sent wrong size order. And they made the right size pasta. He threw in garlic bread and some dessert. The food was amazing and he seemed to care about taking care of us. The added dessert for the mix up was great. I eat here several times a year, usually at lunch time. I've had most of their dishes and can honestly say that I've never had a bad meal. The food always tastes fresh and the portions are about perfect, I never think to myself I could eat more. The service is great and they have gone the extra mile for me on a last-minute change order. Great food. Always consistent. I order so many different things here and they are all good. I have taken my family and all my co-workers here and everyone loves it! My favorites are the fettucini alfredo with grilled chicken and the creamy pesto. The marinara sauce is also very good. They bake their bread in house and it is sooo delicious. Awesome take out prices, and they offer family take out meals too. Love this place, we eat here at least once a month. Yummy desserts too! Not good for large parties and it's mostly self-service.
