Cannoli, carrot cake, ricotta cake, tiramisu cake, rainbow cookies and leaf cookies
    Lejla B.

We had an assortment of their pastries/ cake slices and some cookies. The ricotta cake and tiramisu were good but nothing special. The cannoli and carrot cake were amazing. Do yourself a favor and definitely pick up some cannolis from here! I will be back for more. Their rainbow cookies were delicious-one of my favorites. Their pizza and calzones looked delicious, I'll have to try both next time.

Low key bakery with some awesome and delicious desserts. Also have some coffee and basic lunch options (such as salads, pizzas, and cheesesteaks). Some casual seating 7.5/10

Just a wonderful place with so many terrific options. Its a wonderful Italian bakery with cannolis, cupcakes, cookies, stuffed breads, huge cakes, and all sorts of pastries. Its a grocery store with a big refrigerated case full of sauces and pastas and all sorts of grab and go options. They have a big selection of Italian water ices. It's a pizzeria and sandwich shop that gets pretty busy lunch time- all sorts of hot and cold grinders, salads, and half a dozen pizzas by the slice. Three of us from work had a real nice lunch here today. My two slices, pepperoni and sliced tomato, were big and tasted great -plenty of cheese, plenty of sauce, and lots of toppings. You simply can't go wrong here.

How much would a vegetarian lasagna cost for 10 people?

That would be a half pan for 45 and if you wanted to feed more than that I would recommend a full pan for 90 ... that is the Veggie Lasagna ... Emiddo the owner makes it all from scratch ... Absolutely delicious

The space is cute and the staff was friendly, but the selection was a bit slim. Definitely not as many options as I was hoping for that early in the day. I grabbed a few items to try and they were good, just not mind blowing. I left wishing there were more choices, especially since I came in so excited to check them out. I'm still looking forward to giving them another shot, and I might visit the Cromwell location to see how it compares.

The type of bakery is very similar to Bounom, a French inspired bakeshop. I follow them on social media and see what they make, it all looks and sounds so delicious. It's in a little plaza right on route 44. I went on a Friday around 1:30 and they had a limited selection which is understandable. The person helping me out recommended I go earlier. They still had mango cake slices, Korean BBQ; hot dog; pizza milk bread, and cookies. Milk bread is made with water instead of milk. I decided to purchase the Korean BBQ milk bread for $10; wow it was tasty, the bread was fluffy. That alone deserved 5 stars. There were a couple of tables to sit at. I can't wait to go back earlier in the day and try more times out!

Think people are hating this place because they are comparing the food to Stop & Shop. The taste is pretty different. Sour Dough from NY, Vermont that was "baked today" but feels half frozen is $7 at Whole Foods ... so complaining about $10 for a local one is kind of wild. Yesterday I had a baguette from the West Hartford location. Ate it on the way home. It was so good. Finally tried a sandwich. I had their Turkey Sandwich today. Shit was life changing. Haven't had an experience like that since having a steak at J Gilberts for the first time. It is like wow this is what real food taste like and what our parents & grand parents would eat before everything was mass produced. Everything was local and delicious. Price wise it was $2 more than a regular sized Jersey Mikes Turkey Bacon sandwich. The coffee and the other baked goods I thought were just ok but their bread, cookies and sandwiches are incredible.

She is local in West Hartford, and while has an incorporated business still bakes out of her home, which is great, because this cake was full of love. Now back to the cake. This was amazing. it was layered with a confetti cake and layers of cheesecake. Yes, cheesecake! There's also a thin layer of fresh strawberry jam. I picked it up on Saturday didn't get to eat it until Sunday night and it was tremendous..highly recommend leaving it out for a while so that it gets room temperature and all the flavors meld together. First off, it's definitely one of those small, tucked-away spots you could easily miss if you didn't know it was there, but once you walk in, the decor is so cute. Think cozy, shabby chic vibes that make it feel warm and welcoming right away. The standout for me? The dinner roll. Honestly, one of the best I've ever had. It was dense, rich, and satisfying, not your typical light, airy Kaiser roll. It reminded me more of a Jamaican hard dough bread in texture and weight, which I personally loved. Super flavorful and filling. I was also really happy about their buy three, get one free promotion. It made it easy to try a few different things without feeling like I was overdoing it. As for the pastries, I tried the cinnamon roll and carrot cake. I didn't finish either, but the carrot cake definitely gave true homemade vibes. It had coconut mixed in, wasn't overly sweet, and felt more traditional than indulgent. If you like a less sugary, more classic-style carrot cake, you'll probably appreciate it. Overall, this bakery is worth a stop, especially if you're exploring the pastry trail. Not everything wowed me, but there were definitely some highlights that made it a good visit.
