Now THATS a chocolate croissant! Huge, tons of lamination, thick-ass bar of chocolate, and chocolate drizzle on top?! I had one, then had to buy another. It's that good. It's a higher price point than other places, sure, but the quality justifies it! Buy these for a client or person you want to impress. Haven't tried the scones yet. I've been coming to this bakery for yearssss. We love their fruit bakery cake, Princess Cake and have a handful of favorite pastries. I've been to Pastry Heaven the past 3 days in row after trying their Choco Pistachio Roll. Oh my goodness! Its heaven. Go early if you want one because they sell out. This is the type of place you take out of town guest to show him what your town has to offer ! Everything is so super delicious and the workers are very kind. Closed on Sunday and Monday. read more

Left a review before believing another one again I come to this bakery, a couple times a month to get rid of pastries. They are always phenomenal. Two weeks ago had them Custom make a baptism cake. It was not only beautiful, but everybody at the party couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was. I also love how it gives me European vibes when you come inside it's a super small bakery, but filled with plenty of selection and a great staff. read more

I wanted a spiderman cake for my 3 year old grandson's birthday. I was not able to find what I wanted until I went to Pastry Heaven. I ordered it with a dozen cupcakes on friday morning and picked them up on Saturday morning, They were able to make the perfect cake with matching cupcakes. I've been coming to this bakery since I was in high school. Or, as another reviewer put it, "For more than twenty years." That being said, I feel that it's erroneous to say that "they've been in business at this location for over twenty years," since the owner has changed at least twice in that much time. When I was in high school, the owner was an elderly man named Marcel. Back then, Marcel was a nightly patron at the recently demolished Coco's restaurant, where my mom was a waitress and closing manager. Marcel would bring my mom boxes of pastries, and she would bring them home for my little sister and I to eat. And that is how I fell in love with Pastry Heaven before I even started spending my own money there. I specifically loved the bite sized cakes covered in fondant, which is why, at age sixteen, my mom taught me the correct pronunciation of "petit four." As I stood in line at Pastry Heaven yesterday afternoon, an elderly man in front of me asked, "What is a petite four?" Even though I've worked in restaurants for years, this was the most Americanized pronunciation of "petit four" I'd ever heard. He said it like that at least six times. PETITE FOUR. Obviously, I had to order one and pronounce it correctly in front of him. While he was paying for his pastries, I ordered an apricot croissant, a cherry Danish, and a petit four. "PETITE FOUR" said a loud male voice behind me. (A man loudly/erroneously corrected my pronunciation while I was attempting to inconspicuously/politely correct another man's pronunciation.) I chuckled and quietly said to the clerk (who I think was the current owner), "You can tell who has and hasn't worked in the restaurant industry." He chuckled back. I'm not sure if the mansplainer who "corrected" me even knew that we were laughing at him. To me, the petit fours still taste about exactly the same as when Marcel made them. Many of the other pastries have since taken on a slightly more Latino than French vibe, but, overall, it's still a classic European bakery. Marcel and Ettore used many similar, if not identical, recipes for their cakes, and many of these recipes have been passed down to the current owner. This is why I sometimes describe Pastry Heaven to friends as a "knock-off Ettore's." If you come early in the morning, sometimes you can get a bag of day old pastries for a fraction of their original price. Overall a great bakery for European cakes and pastries, highly recommend, would definitely eat here again. read more

Called all over town for a bakery that makes passion fruit cake and Pastry Heaven was one of two! I picked PH because they were open for customizing the frosting which was very nice and accommodating. It was easy to order and I paid at pick-up. Cost of the cake was only $45 for a 8". Great deal! Day of pick-up I was excited to see the cake and upon walking in to the bakery, looked forward to trying some other pastries. Very pricey pastries but the taste wasn't worth it. The cake was just white frosting - no frills. Good thing I ordered my own decorations. The passion fruit flavor was mild but noticeable and enjoyable. Would order another cake but will skip on the pastries. read more

I was introduced to the Swedish Princess back in 1986 at a little European bakery in Fairfield, CA called Rosanna's. Back then, Rosanna and her husband Hans ran the place. (They sold it decades ago.) Anyway, this is not an easy cake to find. But, Pastry Heaven makes it, and they do a nice job. The cake is moist, the custard and cream layers are tasty, and just the right amount of raspberry is wrapped in that delicious marzipan that elevates it to its royal status. I will warn you, it's not cheap! But it's so worth the price you pay. I called to order and set up a pick-up time for the following day. I arrived right on time. The order wasn't quite ready. I waited in the small, clean, barely decorated lobby, or customer area, watching folks walk in one after another and buy one or two small items for breakfast. I have a feeling all their items must be good. It's likely I'll be back; unless I find somewhere closer to home that offers this fantastic selection. read more

This place is amazing! Everything I've tried has been delicious. The pastries are light and airy without sacrificing size. The chocolate on/in everything is beautifully done. Not gritty or overly sweet and actually has a great chocolate taste! The service is always flawless, they answer my questions and make me feel like I've been going there for years. Absolutely give this place a try, but be quick! Their croissants run out fast! Will be a long time customer or until the trespass me. read more

My wife and I saw an ad and we never heard of the place, so, we decided to check it out. It was around 1pm and the shelves were almost empty. We got a couple of different cookies, peanut butter, wedding cookie, brownie with walnuts, pastries an almond twist and a cheese danish. Heaven is an understatement. I imagine early is better, while I sat out front and typed this review, they were almost nonstop with customers. Currently hours posted are: Tuesday-Saturday 7:00am-4:00pm and closed Sunday & Monday. Ordered the chocolate mousse cake for a graduation party. Great presentation, cake was moist, the chocolate mousse was subtle and added a nice texture to the bite. Overall, the cake was delicious; not too chocolaty nor sickly sweet. I will go back to try more pastries. I used the doordash app to order pastries that appeared on the app under PH. After receiving confirmation they received my payment, within a few minutes, I received a notification that my order was canceled because PH was unable to provide what I ordered. If an item isn't available it shouldn't be on the menu. Although I will be reimbursed, I am very disappointed and will not order from them again. read more

Oh my my! What a delightful cake we received! The service was outstanding. On the day of, we had a bit of a snafu with our refrigerator and the person who helped us offered to keep the cake there and pick it up before closing instead. I was so impressed by the attention to details when it came to helping us transport the cake safely. We obviously are not professionals but they make it easy for the general public to transport their own cake. We got so many compliments on the flavor. My mom loved every bit of it. Loved the almond crossaint! They were fresh out of the oven and the filling was the perfect almond flavor surrounded with a warm buttery flaky crust. We also tried their bear claw, which was delicious as well. I'd love to try their cinnamon rolls as they were sold out by the time we got there at 10am on a Saturday. read more

Took the advice from yelpers and it did NOT disappoint! Needed a cake but didn't want to get a generic cake from the other stores. After checking out other reviews, this was going to be the spot. Service is friendly and helpful. They have tropical cakes, Limon cake and chocolate cakes available. They also have one slice cakes going for $4.50. Needed a last minute birthday cake so I decided to try Pastry Heaven based on reviews. Small, simple bakery in the corner of a shopping center with plenty of parking. Goods were clearly displayed and lady behind the counter was really nice. Picked up an 8" fruit basket cake which was delicious. Moist, light and not too sweet! It had fresh whipped cream frosting and I believe a vanilla cake layered with pastry cream (?) and fruit. Definitely lived up to the hype. I want to say it was $42. A little pricier than what I have paid for similar cakes in the past, but I think it's worth it for the quality and would purchase again. Also tried the ham&cheese croissant ($3.50) and apricot croissant ($3). I'm usually just "eh" about croissants, but I was pleasantly surprised! Substantial, soft and moist. Not super greasy like some others I have tried and didn't create a huge, flaky mess. Went around 9am and they were already low on some pastries. They open at 7am so maybe they have regulars during the morning rush. Yelp came through on this one. I'll definitely be back! read more

I recently tried an éclair that left much to be desired. The dough was far from fresh, the chocolate was disappointingly hard--almost like it was frozen--and the filling seemed to be nothing more than whipped cream. For $6, I expected something far better. I've had much better éclairs at other places for a fraction of the price. read more

Really great pastries the few times I was able to buy them. However, The eight times I have gone in to purchase more they were out of stock. they have a very limited availability. Usually they are Completely picked over by 8:00 am. Really wish I could purchase again since they were so tasty. I've never been completely happy.........UNTIL NOW! Oh my goodness, the best carrot cake ever! This cake was so moist and rich, not too sugary sweet but just the right amount of spices that you can taste! I'm basic and boring and get the iced Americano, but I've gotten the seasonal island latte for my husband who loved it. Swing by and try out these delicious, locally-owned shops.

In the aforementioned man's confrontation, the worker forgot multiple items and wouldn't make it right until the man brought it up, showed his receipt, and made the worker calculate the items which were bought - after the worker gave the man what he was owed, the worker failed to acknowledge their mistake and simply looked at the man with a blank stare. I had a similar issue and called the manager, who wasn't even on site. However, I didn't notice I was missing items until I drove home. The manager wouldn't even say "sorry about that" they simply said they would talk to the staff and that I should go back to pick up the items THEY failed to provide. I went back, and the same gentleman with the inconsistent, non-sober appearing behavior said he didn't hear anything from his manager and I had to call the manager AGAIN. If it isn't the poor behavior from the dude working there, the chick in the back with the sour attitude also fails every box of customer service. I'll never return. This was a great place when the original owner was running the show, now it's just bad.

In a frantic hurry I started searching for a bakery to make my girlfriend a birthday cake in less than 4 days I called around to local shops and to my dismay none were able to pull off the task. When I called and spoke to jose the owner he said he would get it taken care of in the time frame need no problem, I just had to prepay over the phone or come in, I was traveling for work and was not able to call before the shop closed to pay for my cake. I ended up calling 40 mins after they closed and they still took my call and was able to get the cake made for me , the cake is absolutely beautiful and he went over the top with the deco to make the celebration even better I will always return to this shop for all my baked good needs thank you jose your awesome read more

One was a honey roasted peanut butter on chocolate cupcake and the other I forgot the name of. But it was a chocolate cupcake of some sort with a vanilla type of cream frosting. Those were $4.50 a piece. Carlos told me the cupcakes are cold but best eaten about 40 minutes to a hour at room temp. Sorry to say I had no will power to wait that long. They both got devoured shortly after I got back to my car. Even without the wait, it was delicious. Moist, flavorful cake. The frosting was delicious and piped on perfectly. I was a paying customer asking a completely reasonable question about something I was purchasing. Despite how I was treated, I called because this was for my son's birthday, he specifically loves their cakes, and I was willing to pay the $175. Unfortunately, the phone call only made the experience worse. Danielle was incredibly rude and dismissive. She said everything she wanted to say while I was expected to sit there and listen, but when I tried to explain my side, I did not feel that same courtesy was extended to me. But no cake is good enough to justify being made to feel like you're a problem simply because you asked a question about the price. I paid their $175 asking price. They got the sale. But because of the way I was treated, they lost a repeat customer. The cakes may be sweet, but unfortunately, the customer service left an incredibly bitter taste.
