The last time we went we had about twenty mins before closing and were popping in for ice cream. We were told...and reminded multiple times that they wanted to be out of the building at exactly closing time. We said we understood (I mean yes- I also love being off work on time) but the constant reminders felt like they were shoving us out the door when we were just placing ice cream orders and trying to pay. It might have just been a stressful night. We did pop in the next day and I asked about their coffee selection. The response we got was a bit dismissive and they told us "we have black coffee, we don't do any of that fancy stuff. Go down the street to Taylor's." I was going to order the regular coffee but it was off-putting so we did as they recommended and left. I know I don't *look* like a local- for obvious reasons. I don't want to believe this is why we received weird service compared to other patrons. Regardless, we have enjoyed the actual food and ice cream here. Our family likes it and visits weekly- I will just trust them that they get good consistent service every time.
