I got hear late afternoon and solo, so I decided to go in on appetizers--and wow. The empanadas came out hot and fresh, with a spicy hot sauce that was perfectly balanced and full of flavor. Then came the canastas (basically tostone cups): one filled with shrimp, one with chicharrón ceviche, and another with guacamole. Crispy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The chicharrón ceviche was so good I decided to get an order of Chicharrón. The left over from the canastas were a good addition. I paired it all with a green mango/lemonade with a salted rim, which was refreshing, tangy, and just perfect. We went on a weekday afternoon and the service was so very slow. Ordered Colombian empanadas to start and we received our entrees and still hadn't received the empanadas. Pedimos una cajita para llevar comida y eso nunca llegó hasta que se lo pedimos a otro mesero ( mas joven y con tattoos) el fue el único que hizo más y no se veía incompetente. No se si el nombre de nuestro mesero era Carlos por que el que imprimió el recibo fue el chico de los tattoos pero el incompetente que nos tocó era de unos 40-55 años antipatico y un poco rellenito. La comida no nos llego a la misma vez y la demora hizo que la comida no estuviera caliente para todos pero no estaba mala era buena. Si no hubiera sido por el servicio y el ambiente lo recomendaría.
