Absolutely delicious, I stumbled upon this place with my wife and decided to order some food for pick-up. The food was ready at exactly the time it told us it was going to be, and when I picked it up, I knew it was going to be well worth the price of it! The staff was super friendly from the few moments we were inside to grab the food and while I was waiting, I got to enjoy how nice and clean the location was! There was nice decorations on the wall and I couldn't find a single crumb anywhere! The staff was also friendly and told us where to go to grab the food we ordered. I decided to get the skirt steak and it was cooked to perfection. I will say the chimichurri sauce was a little underwhelming as it didn't have my flavor and only tasted like oil to me, so I didn't use it. The steak was flavorful and the portion was more then reasonable for the price! The rice was also very well done as well, cooked perfectly! I will for sure be coming here again in the future to try more of their food they have to offer and grab a couple drinks! read more

We had four days in town and ate at Alta Vaca Grill on two separate occasions. Yes, it was that good! Hubby and I are former Floridians but were in town for my SIL's graduation. We moved to Georgia about a year and a half ago, which was a great move for us and we have truly loved our new home and hood, but the only thing we don't have in our new area is good Argentinian food. That's why when we got to town, we knew we were going to look specifically for a good churrasco. We discovered Alta Vaca Grill on Yelp near our airbnb and had it on our first night. Normally, hubby and I would split a steak but on this visit we each got our own and cleaned our plates. Alta Vaca definitely hit the spot! We each had a churrasco cooked medium with fries for me and rice for my husband. Every bite was music to my tastebuds! We loved it so much that when making dinner plans with friends a couple days later and the night before our flight back home, we knew we wanted to return to Alta Vaca one last time before leaving. I made a reservation for 8 and I'm glad I did because the space inside is somewhat limited and they were slammed. Despite the place being jam packed and us being a large party, our server was incredible as was their entire staff. Our food came quickly and tasted just as divine as the first visit. I ordered the churrasco again but this time with potato salad instead of fries. I asked if the potato salad was vinegary because I tend to be picky about those, but I was assured that if I didn't like it, I could switch it to something else after. This was great to know but not necessary as I ended up loving it along with the delicious steak. I savored every bite and lamented at the fact that I could not take the whole place home with me as I was not ready to let go. If we had Alta Vaca Grill near our new home, I would be there at least weekly without question. Amazing service with mouthwatering food and reasonable prices makes this an easy 5-star rating in my book. If we are ever in the area again, returning will be high on the priority list. If you are lucky enough to live nearby and haven't tried them yet, I suggest you run, not walk there, sooner rather than later because you will not be disappointed. read more

A hidden gem really. My hubby and I felt very welcome by the staff. It's bigger than what it looks from the outside. We ordered a few appetizers, ham and cheese empanada, chicken empanada and sausage. The ham/cheese empanada was my favorite. We also ordered this melted cheese app, it was really good. We ordered picana, entraña and vacío. Wow the entraña was so juicy and tender. Can't wait to go again! We were pretty full after so much meat, but there's always room for dessert. The night I have visited, Ft. Lauderdale has flash flood over the Broward county. Not many eat out. It is bad for restaurants night. I was here and the restaurant is empty. I don't mind as long as they have good food. I got the Argentina Flap Steak - Churrasco. I have it medium rare. The food comes out correctly. It also comes out with white rice. No other side. The meat also comes with Chimichurri sauce. The steak was delicious and cook well. I enjoy it. I would recommend to add more side to attract more customers. Overall service is good. This is a great addition to the restaurant line up in Davie. If you enjoy meat and want to try an authentic Argentinean place, this is it. Their meats are cooked in a charcoal grill and always done to perfection. They also have delicious empanadas, perfectly cooked and juicy. The restaurant is small and casual with about 10 tables inside and a few tables outside. Service is always friendly and fast. In addition to soft drinks, wine and beer are part of the menu, and they also have a nice selection of desserts, including alfajores, passion fruit moose and a Brazilian specialty called Qindim (made with eggs, sugar and coconut) -- delicious! Located right across the street from Towers shops in a small, quaint plaza is this really yummy Argentinian spot. It was our first time trying this place, which was recommended by family - who don't even live here. It's on the smaller side in terms of size, not really suitable for super large parties, but we went with a group of 7 personas. Not confirmed, but word on the street was that this place used to be a food truck down South in the Miami area, and they only did small bites, sandwiches, and desserts. But, we came for a birthday and the birthday girl wanted the meat platter. And who can say no to Argentinean meat. So, we got the Alta Parrillada Platter, medium cooked, which comes with picanha, skirt steak, chicken breast, sausage, blood sausage, and flap steak. We ended up ordering two platters for the 7 of us, and we still had some leftovers as well. The platters come with 2 sides: we mixed and matched with the fries, rice, and mash. The mash was super buttery. The meats were all cooked perfectly. The blood sausage was more on the moist side and not dry at all. I would definitely come here when I am craving meats. read more

We came to Ft Lauderdale for a Caribbean cruise. Not knowing the area, we decided to try out Alta Vaca. We started with beef empanadas, which were very good. Beef wrapped in a delicious dough and perfectly baked toasty brown served with a fresh tomato, onion, and a bit of jalapeño. It was not spicy Next we ate the cap steak and skirt steak. The waitress said everyone comes for the skirt steak. Steaks were both served with chimichurri sauce. Both were very good. It was the most tender skirt steak we ever eaten. Nice find when visiting from out of State. Portions are not too large and flavor and seasoning is on point with some of the best Argentinian restaurants, even in Argentina. The place is family owned and the way they care for their customers shows that they actually want to make you feel welcomed. It was so good! We went on a random Tuesday night. Sat down right away. There was only one other table occupied so we almost had the whole place to ourselves. Our waitress, Serena, informed us happy hour was still on. I ordered a Corona and an order of mollejas which was part of the happy hour special. I believe both were half price. We ordered a parrillada and asked to replace the chicken for an extra chorizo and morcilla. They obliged. It comes with 2 sides. The bread that they bring out of the oven was so delicious and smoking hot. The Chimichurri was really good too. Place is decorated real cute. Serena provided awesome service!
