Let me begin by saying that I had never thought I will ever have a good experience with any lander based on my past experience with them from big banking companies. But Bobby Nicoles from Patelco proved me wrong. Right from beginning he kept us informed about the mortgage status and also kept guiding us with best route which resulted in prompt closure of the home loan. He has vast knowledge about the loan industry as he had all the answers to our questions. I would highly recommend him if anyone is looking for home mortgage. I just don't understand if you open at 10 why aren't the employees the computers anybody ready for you? I'm first in line and it takes forever for the computer to come up and then I'm told oh I have to have somebody else help you and it's like 20 minutes later you're still not helped like what the hell go to Danville Branch. read more

It was nice to see that Patelco had finally moved into City Center Bishop Ranch. It wasn't crowded when I visited end of day and was able to get in and out quickly. There are no outside ATMs yet and was told the ATM inside is the only one available at the moment. Yes, Sprinkle's Cupcakes is going in next door and will have access to the Credit Union from inside the store as well, but it's not expected to open until the Fall. read more

This review is for the city center bank location. On Saturdays when I can go to the bank this location is packed with people. The parking is horrible. Whose idea was to put a bank at a mall? Today I had to park on the top floor of the parking garage. The previous location was so convenient. And now the Dublin location is closed. Just frustrating. The people working at this location are nice. read more

Go to target instead for ATM. This is the second time I've gone to this branch to use the atm and it's been broken. At least last time they put a sign saying it was broken. I went in today and the screen was broken, non responsive. Not only did nothing work but I was timed out AND they kept and shredded my card. WTF. I tried calling or talking to someone but it was Sunday and both online and at this branch no one is available (or course). I'm very upset about this. I had to warn like 5 people who tried to use it after me while I stayed and waited on hold and never got to talk to anyone. If you just need an atm cross the street to target. That hunk of metal they have near the return section was probably built in the 1800s but it's no fees and hasn't broken on me once. And the parking will be better read more

If I could give no stars I would. Words can't describe how upsetting it is to find out the car your paying off isn't even your car but the person who was only co signing. I went in to apply for a loan last year and not only was getting the loan a horrible process because I "didn't" make enough money to pay $180 monthly payment with no debt or rent really made no sense to me but ok... end up getting a co-signer. Fast forward to this year as I am going in to pay my tags I find out I don't own my car, I am only liable for the loan.... So I am paying off a car that isn't mine and am stuck with the debt. Patelco was responsible for all the DMV paper work. They said sorry about there mistake and the only way to fix it is for the co signer to sell me the car.... :( read more

I can't believed I'm back with Patelco Credit Union. I've been trying to open an account but kept getting denied. I recently found out it was due to my previous account that was closed back in 2015. I wasn't aware I had a balance of $1500 that have grown. I spoke to a Financial Specialist name Yaveth Gomez. He assisted me from day one. I told him I'm willing to make the payment that I owed. He communicated with other departments about my issues. He later advised me to go to one of the branch. I did and made the payment. I called Yaveth back and he processed my application again. This time I was approved. Thank you to Yaveth for the great customer service. I was ready to forget Patelco but Yaveth never stopped communicating with me through emails and phone calls. I also wanted to thank Alexia Razo-Orrego. She is the Branch manager at Bishop Ranch of San Ramon branch. Alexia assisted me and my wife making the payment. She even called me and emailed me to let me know I was off the ChexSystem. I'm glad I have a relationship with Patelco Credit Union again. I'm planning to apply for mortgage next year with Patelco. read more

WOW!! I have not had fantastic customer service since the 1980's, Neelam Gupta provided me with exceptional service and knowledge in getting the most for my banking experience. She was so fantastic that I only went in their to open a checking account so that I can make easier payments on my wife and mine personal loan and ended up opening checking, savings and a money market account. I don't care what anybody says about "Patelco Credit Union" but you guys are great!! by me. Thank you to Neelam Gupta, management and staff for making my banking experience exceptional. I generally have been pleased, but today I received a "special offer" that if I spend a mere $250.00 over the next 2 months, in 10 purchases over $25 each on my Master Card, I will receive a whopping $10.00 Bonus. Are they kidding me? Unbelievably cheap marketing strategy. Embarrassing to boot. One Star is more than they deserve on this one, as I do not consider 4% a bonus. read more

Kristine helped my husband and myself on 2/22/23. We had deposited a refund check into Greg's account. There was a "hold" placed on the check. Because it was from the State of CA they needed to see my ID to deposit. She was helpful and was able to release the full amount of the check for use. For the first time, I had an issue that needed to be handled by the back office and had been getting the run around for weeks. Zeina Alame has consistently provided fabulous service over the years but this week she truly went above and beyond for me. When I came into the branch office (again) last weekend, Zeina called me into her office to understand what was going on. She not only followed up and called me with an explanation as to why my request was being denied, but Zeina then listened to my concerns, decided on her own to contact the back office one more time, and GOT RESULTS! This branch is amazing ! I typically wouldn't review a credit union as most of my interactions are just short and sweet and nothing to ride home about . However I recently needed help navigating a loan for a new car I was about to buy and received exceptional service that it wouldn't feel right unless I let the yelp community know how wonderful this location really is . I was helped out by a representative Zoi Vaughn, and she went above and beyond what I could have ever even expected . From answering my million questions to her thorough follow up- she made the entire process so smooth and seamless . There was a lot of things I didn't quite understand and she was very patient with me and made sure I understood every step. Do NOT work with Victoria Flower, she has poor communication and is anything but professional. I was pre-approved for a car loan, bought the car and had three days to finance through Patelco. She told me all my paperwork was correct and someone would be contacting me that night. No one did, so I called the next day and was told my paperwork wasn't there. After work I went in and saw her again and she said that she actually needed the same paperwork I already provided?? Very unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. I ended up not getting financed through Patelco due to them not getting it done in three days. I've been banking with Patelco for 6 years and I am extremely disappointed with her nonchalant service. read more
