I was in one of my cycles of depression when I saw someone recommend her in a facebook group. I've been seeing her for a year since then and my mental state and health have improved immensely. My deep depression has not come back since seeing her and when I feel myself inching back to that place I schedule a session with Jo-e and one hour later I feel like I've gotten a tune-up and more tools to use in my life. We've been working on my generalized anxiety and stress management over time. She's worked with me diligently on my health, which is what she proved was important to work on first. I had been exhausted to the point of tears for about 8-9 years with no answers on how to fix it from any doctors. One doctor told me "most women are tired". Anyway, after adding carefully selected vitamins and supplements to my schedule, changing some habits and new tools for dealing with stress and anxiety, I had relief for the first time and actually had energy. I stopped the vitamins suddenly at one point and the exhaustion came back. We've continued to work on my sinuses and digestion, as well. She knows her stuff. Jo-e also helped me establish a better foundation for my marriage and I think saved us from a lot of turbulence in the future by helping me find stability and a healthier way of expressing myself. 5 Stars just isn't enough! Jo-e deserves more!…read more Before I met Jo-e, I seen about 3 or 4 therapist about depression, anxiety and family trauma. Those session were ok, but it was nothing like the sessions I had with Jo-e. When it comes to opening up about your personal life, it can be difficult to be vulnerable and trust someone with your life problems. From the first session I knew Jo-e was my go to personal health/life coach! I was finally comfortable opening up and expressing my personal mental health problems to someone. When it came to sessions, Jo-e always dug deep into my roots to see where exactly my problems sprouted from. Me, being a direct person, she always made sure to tell me what I NEEDED to hear not what I WANTED to hear. We started working on the food I ate and what I put into my body to fuel my soul. You wouldn't want to put cheap gas into a Ferrari would you? Exactly. I focused on eating cleaner which gave me the energy the get through my daily activities and not be so drained at the end of my day. The type of ENERGY I'm talking about it MENTAL ENERGY. I literally felt better MENTALLY, just by eating cleaner food. Food is one thing, but we also focused on being in the present. Jo-e guided me in practicing mediating, gratitude, and living my life at this very second. Not living in the past nor living in the future. She gave me the tools and exercises to work with that I would have never even thought about on my own. I started from having it all, but being miserable at the same time. I had an amazing career in the aerospace industry, but hated life. Great Job, benefits, medical insurance, stocks, everything you name it. My personal time was very limited and depression came along, so I reached out to Jo-e. I was single for the longest time, thinking love wasn't meant for me. I had a passion in Film/Photography, but was too scared to make the life changing risk. Jo-e was my quarterback to get through this depression. Last night, my husband and I sat in our hot tub - a lifelong dream - in our beautiful backyard with…read moreredwoods, by the shadow of our first purchased home - and the loveliest home we've ever lived in, gazing at the sky full of stars. We talked about how amazing this was, as only a year ago we were paying exorbitant rent in a moldy house with eternal fog, working jobs that were killing us, and had major health issues looming. We discussed the business that I'm starting, another lifelong dream of mine and true passion realized. We looked at each other and said almost simultaneously, "We would have never gotten here without the work we did with Danny." It felt like a trivial decision at the time to start working with him, and instead it was one of my most life-altering decisions ever. I've been a lifelong seeker and student of mind/body work including traditional therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic, massage modalities, yoga, hypnotherapy etc. I sought out all of these things to quell a lifetime of heavy anxiety. They all helped in their own way, but never lasted long beyond the treatment. Working with Danny was the first thing that relieved my anxiety sustainably. It connected all the other things I'd tried, and redirected my life energy in a positive direction. An important clarification on that - I had to do all the work, he held up the road signs, but I had to take the steps everyday. Simply having sessions with him would have only provided limited improvement, I had to do the work everyday on my own for the true change to occur. Now, I meditate everyday. It has changed everything my life. Danny helped build my confidence and courage to live my dreams, pursue my passions, and take leaps to propel my life into its highest potential. It's really hard to describe what Danny does. It's the most esoteric work I've ever participated in; yet it's had the most staggeringly tangible results of any single mind/body work I've ever tried. That is the mystery and magic of it. It takes a leap of faith on the part of the client to jump into something different - even now something I still don't fully understand. Take the leap, jump into the magic and fully unleash the life you were born to live. Don't worry about understanding it, just go with it. Be ready. Reiki is the trippiest thing. I still don't have a friggen clue what it really is. It doesn't *seem* like anything is happening. And then WOOSH!!!!!! Everything in your life starts to change. Radically. Stuff moves, it goes where it needs to go. At times it's painful, and terrifying. Just go with it. Do the grounding work to get through it, and keep spiraling up. Things will end up better than you could have ever dreamed. I've always thought I couldn't meditate because my mind never stopped - I'm a highly cerebral person. Now I meditate everyday to beautiful guided sessions that Danny made for me. It's as natural for me as drinking water, and just as necessary. The hypnotherapy sessions, which he recorded and I re-listen to often, have allowed my subconscious to relax and know that everything will be all right, and work out wonderfully well. Danny is a true healer, he always knows just what you need with his magnetic intuition. He's both the most *woowoo* guy I've ever known, and also the most raw and down-to-earth one - you can't shock this guy, and judgement isn't in his universe. He is pure 100% love love love. He heals with love, and channels all the power and love of the universe to his clients, to help them live out their dreams. A few logistical notes: Danny's rates are very reasonable on a per hour basis as compared to other body workers. At first I was a little skeptical about paying up front for sessions versus paying per session, but I ended up being a grateful for it because I knew I had a certain amount of time with him, and didn't have to pay every time I went. The work with Danny is like reading a whole book, you don't want to buy the book in chapters. It also made me a lot more invested in the work, and less likely to flake out halfway through. Also, it was very helpful for my husband and I to be simultaneously - in our own individual sessions - going through the work with Danny. The work is unlike anything else, and you do have to just keep the faith and go with it. It's nice to have someone who understands what you're doing and feeling. And also to share the wonder of it! We always came back from our sessions with huge smiles, and feelings of floating in the clouds. My best friend was going through the work as well, and it was fun to compare notes and share stories among all of us. There are no words to express my gratitude to Danny, for his energy, love and guidance. My life is on a different, infinitely better, spiraling-up, high-vibrational, trajectory, and I am living my dreams in ways I never thought were possible. And it all happened in a year. It was a wondrous and synchronistic blessing to recently undertake her Light Warrior Weekend. She was down to earth, able to explain sublime topics with ease & a sense of humor, and in my opinion - offered a very efficient curriculum; one which did its best to convey as much Wisdom, Power, & Love-Light Inspired Energy as possible, into 2 days. I especially was edified by the breathing exercises; which offered me a refreshing chance to refresh my Chakras & commune with the Divine, which we all hold inside - as well as experience the entire room being led into all manner of physical / mental / even emotional spaces. I was also very much edified by her Guided Meditation; which was deliciously delivered with more than a touch of poetry, and yielded a vivid journey, rich with beauty... Though if I had to choose only one most treasured gem from my time with Trisha, it would be her sublimely potent Reiki Initiation Process. It was a perfect storm of fractal glory.
