Then the rest of my tires were almost completely bald and I asked them to replace those as well, on account that the warranty for them was guaranteed to last 55,000 miles.. mine didn't even make it to half that. They said the warranty wouldn't apply because I didn't rotate my tires as much as they wouldn't liked and that's how my tires wore down that much. Again, an excuse. The best "deal" they could do for me was $10 off of two tires, which is nothing when the tires are almost $100 a piece. If they had gone by their own policy, I should've had all tires down for free OR at least gotten the prorated rate which isn't $10 off two tires. I ended up having them put my donut o for me and going to another shop and getting a full set of tires. They will never have business from my family or I ever again.

I am very disappointed with my experience at Carmedix. This was my first visit, and it did not go…read morewell. In the morning, an employee told me the repair for my car would cost about $1,060. However, when I returned in the evening to move forward with the repair, I was suddenly quoted $1,800 for the same work. Before coming to Carmedix, I had already received a quote from another shop for about $1,500, and that quote included rear brake drums, brake hardware, brake shoes, front brake pads, rotors, and axle work. Carmedix wanted $1,800 for only the front brake pads, front rotors, and CV axle replacement, without the additional rear brake work. The inconsistent pricing and lack of transparency were very frustrating. I felt misled, and I cannot recommend a shop that changes the price so dramatically within the same day. Please be careful and make sure you get a written estimate before agreeing to any repairs.

I was referred to Mark by a friend. I have a vintage travel trailer that I couldn't find anyone to…read morework on. I was having major electrical issues. Brake, signal and tail lights were sporadic at best. Not only was Mark able to diagnose the problem very fast, he also had the wiring and harnesses to fix the problem right on the job site. Oh yeah, he also came to the trailer location, which is a great bonus especially when I was dealing with electrical issues. Not only did he fix the electrical problem, but he also spotted a problem with the old brake line on the trailer and was able to replace those at the same time. This really could have been a major problem that I could have faced on the road. In summary, Mark (and Mobile Diesel Medic) was VERY professional, extremely knowledgeable, and really friendly. Even though I…read morepurchased the tires at Firestone on New Hope Church rd in Raleigh with a warranty because I was at work and didn't think I could make it to Raleigh before they closed. I arrived at my scheduled time 1:10pm and I was finished by 2:15. I work in the dental field and went on my lunch break, because of this I called my patient and asked if I could move them to 2:30 because I knew I may run late. The patient was able to accommodate me. (This is important for the review) they were able to plug the tire and because I had purchased the warranty there was nothing due. Joe fixed me right up and I made it back in time. A couple days later my TPMS light indicates it can't read my tire pressure. I go online to make an appointment for 6:00 that day. The Durham location calls me and states they can't see me at 6:00 because they have 3 people already for 6:00. I informed them I picked the time the online offer. They stated the online schedule doesn't take into consideration that they already have people scheduled and asked if I could come at 4:00. I informed them I could not, I could do 5:30. They stated they could not see me until next week, informed them I didn't want to wait that long, I'm not sure if this tire is leaking or just the light. I inquired if another Firestone would be able to see me and handle the issue. He stated yes, so I go online and make an appointment with them for 6:00. Low and behold they call me and stated they couldn't see me at 6:00 because they were booked. It sounds like their online systems need to be updated, because you show me what's available and I choose. I say okay and cancel the appointment, I call my mom and ask if i could use her car and she says yes. I go back online and schedule with New Hope location for 12:00pm the next day. I get a call from the location informing me that I made another appointment, I told him yes I will have my mother bring it. He then tells me I need to go back to Durham and what's their number because it makes no sense that they can't see me until next week. I provided the number even though at this point I have steam coming from my ears! New Hope calls back and said he spoke to Jeff the general manager and they can see me tomorrow at 6:00, and to call them. I call Jeff, and said I guess the Raleigh location called you and he proceeds to say we can see you tomorrow at 8:00am. I once again inform him I cannot do 8:00, I have a patient. I can do 4:00 and that's the time we settle on. Last night I received a text that my appointment has been updated to 9:00am, at this point I have decided to see someone else and just pay out of pocket. Then today I received a text today stating my appointment is at 6:00pm then I receive one 15 minutes later stating my appointment has been moved to July 31 at 12:00pm. Who arbitrarily moves an appointment? Can you imagine your dental office sending you a text that they have just moved your appointment? I spent over 1,1000 for new tires and brakes less than a year ago and they can't even uphold their warranty.
