The car has a moonroof, so I knew the drains are liable to be blocked. But when I tried to open it, it backed up a couple of inches and jammed. Made an appointment with AI&T, then brought the car in. The very first thing I noticed is the shop is clean and very organized, impressively so. A couple of days later, they called back and explained what they found and gave me a price. Plastic parts in the transport mechanism had become brittle due to age, and broke into pieces which jammed it. They straightened everything out, including the interior slider that covers the moonroof. Because of their knowledge of so many cars, they replaced it with one from a newer model that fits perfectly. Once the install was completed (in the time quoted) both the young woman managing the office and the young man who completed the installation walked me through setting up the connection with my iPhone, making sure I was ready to use it, before I checked out and paid (and the cost was at the lower end of what UNAVI lists as average for professional installation). Since then it has worked beautifully (I'm thrilled to have my music and maps set up in a hands free voice prompted system again). I received a message at 1:57pm, inquiring if I left my key. I responded yes, then I attempted several phone calls. I received no response. I Uber back to shop at 4pm, only to see my vehicle parked where I left it. I was told the reason my car was not worked is because the key was lost. I explained to person, I thought was a technician to learn now this the owner, the lost key is my only key. After waiting at least 30 minutes, the owner told me my key was located. This was a horrible experience!

We were a little late to the spring tune-up game, and in previous years found…read moreit practically impossible to find a time slot anytime earlier than July to get our 20' trailer serviced. We are young, new owners, and have only had the trailer for about 3 years. They were able to schedule us within 2 weeks and came out and did a thorough review of our entire trailer. (They also had to come back to help repair our hitch and were able to do that within a week--unheard of!) We are not experts in trailer upkeep or maintenance--like I said, this is our first, and we are young (in our 30s), not retired, each work more than 50 hours a week in high stress jobs, and do our best but can't always keep up. They found and saved us from some serious water heater issues, and helped us reshape a bent hitch (we caught a curb on a dip and our hitch was at a very weird non-vertical angle). They aren't cheap, but that is made up by the fact that they come to you and they have everything--literally everything--you could possibly need. During our tune-up, they found an extra latch for our screen door, welded our hitch, completely flushed our water heater, ensured our axle was straight (and ended up tightening our bearings), and basically inspected all of our electrical, sealants, and A/C mount. They also gave us a ton of stellar advice about a weight distribution hitch, general towing tips, loading/weight rules, etc. We are ready for our next adventure (here we come, Tahoe, Burning Man, and hopefully next year we can go all the way up to Alaska!) and plan to make Pitstop part of our annual/biannual maintenance routine. We strongly recommend them to anyone who 1) doesn't want to tow their trailers to some sketchy trailer shop and leave it there for days on end, 2) doesn't have endless time to DIY all of their trailer maintenance, or 3) isn't an expert in all things trailer repair and maintenance!

Kanisha charged me to replace coils and my valve cover gasket and did not complete the work. I paid her in cash and she disappeared with my money and is refusing to answer calls or text messages. At the initial appointment I let Kanisha know I forgot the part. She did not opt to reschedule once I had the part but instead tried to charge me more stating she would have to divide the task up. She then agreed to do this if I paid the full amount in cash and she was able to reschedule at her leisure. I agreed and gave her $180.00 upfront. On the following Tuesday (for the appointment she rescheduled) she texted me to say she had an emergency and would need to reschedule again. I did not complain because she made it seem as if she was doing me a favor. The next day she did not text or call when she arrived. However I received a text saying that the part was the wrong size, that the problem was not fixed, and that if she had to come back out to fix what she had already been paid for she would be charging me the full price! She has now stopped responding! I am so disappointed. I was really excited to find a female mechanic because I was tired of male mechanics attempting to take advantage.....Looks like it is just mechanics in general. I will be filing a complaint with the FCC.
