Everyone happy now that its complete!

Please do your homework. First off, the salespeople have minimal knowledge other than selling. They will tell you anything you want to hear even if it is something they have no clue can be done. If you do sit with a salesperson and they tell you they can deliver the moon - stop! Before you sign any contract insist that YOUR building supervisor agrees that all the things in the contract can be done. Then be sure it is all in layman's terms and every detail is clearly spelled out. There were things I thought I was getting only to find out it was not even possible due to the pitch of my existing roof. I never got the walkout or the skylight. The contractor later told me this. I discussed the electrical with the salesperson and where the plugs would go. The contractor told me it was just for the access and that the electrical was not included in the quote, but the salesperson told us the electrical was included. I had no idea I would be left with an unfinished exterior and huge cement-filled holes outside the exit of the room- we now have to spend more money to fix. (Would be nice to know what extra expenses they create) You NEED to be there when any work is being done because the left hand has no clue what the right is doing. The subcontractors vary from day to day and do not have your best interest in mind. I am so thankful I had a great supervisor overseeing the building and details. He understood the amount of money we paid for the room and what was promised for that amount of money. Artie Peirce was our supervisor and he made sure he was available every time I questioned anything that was being done at my home. He always answered promptly and made sure things were going how we discussed once the salesperson was out of the equation. It was a long process, but I was fortunate to have someone that fought to get the job completed. He was stellar and I am so thankful he helped us through that mess. We do love our room now- and it's not leaking anymore! The office staff was also wonderful the girls always made contact and updated me as things were going. It's a good product they just need to be a little more respectful of the amount of money people are paying for this addition to their home. They need to spend a little more time on the planning with staff who know what they are talking about- Advice: get rid of generic salespeople and put in knowledgeable staff that cares about service who will boost your ratings.

If I could give this business negative stars I would. Mr.Charles came by and wrote an estimate for my sunroom projection. The estimate was approved and a $15,000 deposit was put down. The patio enclosures team came by and took all of the measurements and let me know what was needed to begin work. . Around this time the pandemic hit and caused supply chain issues so the deck project had to be put on hold for a while until materials became available again. Not to mention that me & my wife had contracted covid several times however she has an autoimmune disease causing us multiple trips to the hospital for months. The first building plan drawing was done and I had the entire deck rebuilt and restructured to accommodate the sunroom addition per Patio Enclosures measurements. At this time the building permit expired and we needed another one, So a second inspector came out and noted that more posts needed to be added to be able to handle the weight of the sunroom. I now have to get the builders back out to do the additional work needed that was not mentioned beforehand. (which in return did cost me more out-of-pocket expenses). Now when its time for them to do their part they ask me for an additional $7500 for changes to the wall height measurement. But if I am not mistaken you guys did the measurements, so why do I have to pay for your mistake? Then they changed the narrative and blamed the increase on the cost of goods going up.No I am not paying anything additional...... I have already paid additional costs for the improper drawings. Now that there is pushback on the additional charges that they want me to pay, now Mr. Thomas Edgar wants to cancel my contract for the project and also hold $3,693 hostage to cover the engineering. I never canceled the contract nor the project. If you want to deal with an honest and upfront company, take your business elsewhere. They do not stand by their words, and this is borderline entrapment. I should have read all of the other negative reviews on yelp and google before choosing this company for my project. Shame on you

The estimate, design, demo, and build processes all went smoothly because of Agustin and his crew, who started every day bright and early - even when utterly frigid. Like any big project, there were some unforseen challenges, but Agustin communicated with us regularly and made the design changes and/or repairs that were necessary to push forward. Agustin and the crew did a great job with the deck and patio modifications to accommodate. I highly recommend Creative Exteriors Plus!

My wife and I moved into our brand-new custom home in October of last year (2023) and have loved…read moreour deck, but barely used it due to the bugs. Our builder (Churchill Classics) charged an arm and a leg, and we didn't want to go back to them for another quote, so I scheduled over 15 contractors to come out in 2 days. Of the contractors that came out, Agustin was the first. He was on time, knowledgeable, and gave me plenty of ammunition to go up against the remaining contractors. Although Creative Exteriors Plus was one of the most expensive options we looked at, it was also the only truly professional experience that left a great taste in my mouth going forward. Augustin of Creative Exteriors Plus is fantastic! I always look for contractors with strong integrity, who are honest, and who have no issues answering even the dumbest of questions. Agustin not only gave me peace of mind when meeting us, but he was also very open and honest about everything, from the work, scheduling, payment, and timeframe, to the actual products he used. Before screening in our deck, I wanted to stain/seal the deck and power wash it but didn't want to spend the extra capital getting it professionally done. Agustin also helped walk me through products to look at, steps to properly power wash, and troubleshooting via text the whole way through. At one point, I mentioned that my Google caller ID had picked up another business name, Prime Construction Corp, and I wanted to verify if this was related to him or what the connection was. Agustin called me right away and explained that it was an old business they contracted with bigger vendors, but during COVID, they pivoted and no longer have any affiliation with that business. He was quite surprised it popped up with his number. We had a great laugh about it, and I really appreciated how straightforward he was with this information. I love his transparency and honesty throughout the whole process, and we even contacted him again about possibly screening in/putting a roof over our walkup basement door. He was very candid, advising that having the window on the side and a lack of trees nearby would attribute to more cost and effort than a solid result. After brainstorming, we came up with the idea of buying screens and velcroing them around the rails (haven't put this plan into action yet), but I very much appreciate his candor and encouragement that this is a project I can do myself. The entire project was done in roughly 3 days: two days of work back to back, and then 1 Saturday due to rain. The screen is so beautifully and meticulously done that it doesn't even look like a screen is there. His team also managed to perfectly match our current post layout when constructing a new post and adding a door. The door also comes with a cool feature: it has a window that slides down. They also included 2 new keys for the door, and Agustin did a full walkthrough with us to ensure we were fully happy with the results. Before completing the deck, his team also power washed the bug gunk off the deck and removed some of the remaining tape I had forgotten to remove when I stained the deck. He also offered to come back and install our ceiling fan once we actually pick one out. He's local and always just a short text away if I need anything. I cannot recommend Creative Exteriors Plus enough and absolutely rave about Agustin to everyone I know! Thank you so much for all of your hard work, and we will definitely be using you again in the near future for fencing/patio options.

Initially we received a quote from Buddy that came in lower than some competitors. Apparently our…read moreresearch took too long because when we were ready the project cost increased due to "high demand, material costs". We agreed to a new cost and Buddy came by to help us pick a color, sign the contract and collect the deposit. Next, we waited for the materials to be delivered. In the company's understanding it would take a couple weeks because of the high demand. Meanwhile my husband and I started another project in our back yard. Randomly, William (Bill) sent us an email to say our materials "came early" and will be delivered in a day or two. I called Bill who seemed pretty nice and responsive- advised him of the project already taking place and he believed his workers will be in and out the way. Six (6) pallets were delivered. As mentioned his workers came on time, and got to work. They knew what they were doing and worked extremely hard. So hard that they damaged the grass on our property line (issue 1). Day 2 into the job, the Foreman Temoc, drops in and loads 2 pallets worth of pavers into his black Ford 150. The workers are meanwhile still laying pavers, the job is NOT DONE! I rushed out and approached Temoc and tell him I need 50 bricks (of the material I paid for) to do garden edging. His response was "you only paid for half the pallet". He directs me to the trash area where the broken and cut brick laid (issue 2). I contact Bill and he says "I'll see if I can send Temoc back with some pavers". End of day nothing was resolved. Temoc returns twice to collect other materials and his workers. The next day I called Bill and ask them to delay laying the sod (for 1 day) as it affects my other backyard project. Bill was very rude on the phone, not only instructing me to advise the other project workers what to do but also quick to tell me "No, it's not possible". Despite my request the sod was laid later that evening. I request the Foreman Temoc to cover the areas of damage on the property line and he rejected and puts down grass seed. Minutes later the workers take two loads of sod to my neighbors home (5 homes away) for a different business transaction (mind you this is within sight). When I asked Temoc about it - he said "it was left over sod, no good". (Issue 3). Instead of them to place the sod in an area damaged by the workers they used the materials I paid for to make more money. Finally, the last day Bill came to collect the final payment. Dave and Bill attempted to resolve the damage on the property line by laying down grass seed and top soil. I ask again about the pavers and in his very poor behavior he incited "raw material is returned to their space, giving you back some pavers is a fifty/fifty chance". Bill did not attempt to resolve any problems, he later sends an email stating "I just spoke with Temoc And he has already returned the extra pavers so we will not be able to drop off any unused pavers to you at this time, however we have two upcoming patio jobs and I will try to grab a few extra pavers off of those upcoming jobs if they are the same pavers." In this email this "president" actually explains he may use the pavers from a different project (meaning prepaid by another customer) and bring it to me. At the end, I have a job that looks good - it is what we wanted. But I feel swindled by their business practices. Not only are Bill and Temoc poor professionals, but they are open about using the materials prepaid by one person to make additional or side funds. During the project I was very clear in my issues and each request was met with a poor attitude and nothing resolved. For this I give the company 2 stars: Buddy and the hard workers. I do not recommend them to others and I will not use them for future jobs. To those who may consider the business still: 1. Ask for an itemized bill before signing the contract. This will help you understand what you're actually paying for in materials and labor. This will not be provided upfront. 2. Enjoy the good customer service provided by Buddy. I hope you receive the same from the young men on the other end. 3. The business is pretty responsive so if possible get the conversations in writing. Good luck.

M&L do a great job with our landscaping and yard care. I have asked them to do some out of the ordinary tasks - help with a crushed mailbox, remove a silt fence, etc. - and they have always done a great job, very prompt, reasonably priced, and professional. When I found out they do hardscape projects, we hired them to build our sidewalk and stairs to the porch. This was a complicated job, including running a pipe under the sidewalk to a rain garden, and working with very compacted soil. Rudy was a pleasure to work with, bringing us multiple samples of various stone pavers, making design suggestions, and recommending color combinations. The job was finished quickly, under a week, and the result was beautiful ((picture). Even delivery drivers coming to our house remarked that our walkway and stairs looked great! Bottom line, I would unqualifiedly recommend M&L for any landscaping or hardscaping project. They are honest, highly skilled, and do wonderful work.
