I also had given him a list of songs to NOT be played even if they were requested, he did not follow through with this. This guy is a trip and certainly not worth $1000, please do yourself a favor and avoid booking with him.

We had about 120 people at our reception, and virtually every single guest came up to us and said we had an amazing band. North Coast Orchestra kept the energy level sky high and the dance floor crowded, with guests of all ages. The band's catalog was huge, ranging from old standards to current radio hits. Their sets were also long. They only took 2 short breaks over the course of 4 hours post-dinner. They were outstanding. He was (and is) super chill and seems to truly enjoy his profession. We made a playlist and a list of "must hear" songs, which he used to do his thing. Brady was very attentive to us - bride & groom - when we requested songs as we were all having fun on the dance floor. There were small things we noticed throughout the event that left us a little disappointed. The PA microphone was a little soft so guests had a difficult time hearing announcements. Also we had made a special cut of our first dance song that seemed to get lost in the mix. Other than those details, everything was amazing! We also got a photo booth and it was loved by everyone! My very first thoughts weren't about how much money I was spending, but was about how much money I was saving on something that was going to be very exciting for me to learn. My dance instructor, Charmaine made sure my learning pace was set at my comfort and confidence level. Anne-Marie offered suggestions and tweaked my technique. Erin reviewed and monitored my knowledge of the dance routines on a weekly basis to make sure I was getting the best results of my dancing package. Dance routines that I've learned so far is the "Push Pull" ,"Rumba" and Triple Time Swing" better known as the East Coast Swing. More dancing lessons to follow........ I cannot begin to say how much I appreciate Erin, as well as her gifted/talented instructors, Anne-Marie and Charmaine, whom have changed my outlook on life, given me positive direction and personal fulfillment with dancing, that I still continue to enjoy to this day. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. We attended the first group class as…read morecomplete beginners, with one of us already experiencing significant anxiety about learning to dance. Rather than creating an encouraging and supportive environment for beginners, the instructor repeatedly and unnecessarily reprimanded one of us for attempting to help her partner follow the steps. The corrections were delivered in a manner that felt unnecessarily harsh and embarrassing in a group setting. We fully understand that learning a new skill takes time and that instructors need to provide direction. However, there is a significant difference between constructive instruction and repeatedly scolding a student. When we expressed our discomfort, the situation was not handled in a manner that reflected the level of professionalism or customer care we would expect. We ultimately decided that this was not an environment in which we wanted to continue learning. While we understand the stated no-refund policy, we were also disappointed that our concerns were met primarily by a reference to the policy rather than any meaningful acknowledgment of our experience. Beginners should leave a class feeling encouraged to return--not embarrassed for trying.

For our specific experience I planned this is as part of a bachelorette party. The initial contact we had with the owners was smooth, quick responses, seemed very detailed and helpful. We sent out the info the all of the guests and almost everyone had difficulties figuring out how to book through the site. Once we got everyone booked and all set we got updated on who in our group had RSVPed which was helpful to us for contacting those that hadn't. You had the opportunity to pay ahead of time online fully/pay a deposit or pay the day of. How it works is you can choose a craft from their site or pick your own from pinterest and send them a link (this is the option i chose). I sent in an image of some spoons that I wanted to metal stamp to use as decor in plants. They responded promptly to me request to notify me of the price and that we can do that craft (yay!). The building it is in is a little hard to find because its a shared space so they cant have a large sign on it, but the space they are in is adorable! We arrived and you are offered the opportunity to buy beer, wine, soda, water, etc. and then you can find your name tag and craft supplies all laid out nicely for you. They quickly got everyone started and we were off! I started to try and hammer my spoon to flatten it and quickly realized this wasn't going to happen. It needed to be heated/a vice/something stronger. I asked for some help and they weren't really sure how to proceed but tried! I gave up the idea that the spoons would be flat like in the image I sent in and was just going to stamp them on the back side of the spoon. I struggled to stamp because the spoon was bouncing all over so I asked for a bit of help again which seemed puzzling. One of the staff was able to try and staple/duct tape the spoon to a small square of wood to help a bit. It helped slightly but still wasn't ideal. I started to try and stamp and was unable to even get one letter into my first (of three) spoons. So after myself and a few other girls tried I decided this craft wasn't in the books for me and decided to mingle and enjoy my beer instead. I was offered to make a bracelet instead which I declined and just ended up not being charged. All in all most peoples crafts went smoothly, others not so much. I wasn't the only one with a fail but those that did turn out looked great (ones they listed on their site mostly). The space was great, everyone enjoyed their time I just think they have a few kinks to work out to help people be more successful in the future.

Scheduling a workshop time was super simple and done completely online. Then someone from Pin-It Live reached out to me about the DIY projects we wanted to create. I emailed in pictures of what I wanted to make and they took care of the rest. When we arrived at the studio, we knew it was going to be a fun night. The studio is so inviting and there are amazing DIY projects decorating the walls and tables. One of the owners greeted us at the door and led us to our table where the materials for our project were already waiting for us. She took our drink order and explained the first steps of our projects. My wife and I spent the rest of the time making two great projects for our office. With music playing, drinks in hand (what they call "Creative Juices"), and good company all around it is hard not to have a good time. From start to finish, it took about an hour to complete our project (how fast you complete the project is really up to you). Then the owner snapped our picture and sent us on our way with a good recommendation for dinner. Overall, Pin-It Live is definitely worth giving a try. If you are looking for a great place for a date night, bachelorette party, or to just have someone make your DIY project a breeze - you simply cannot go wrong with the experience they provide.

My then-fiance and I were looking for a great videographer for our wedding. We knew we wanted our…read morewedding ceremony captured, as well as the wedding speeches and dances, plus highlights from our day. After all, the bride and groom can't be everywhere at once. We were referred to Unscripted Love Films from some other videographers who were already booked, and we're so glad we ended up with Wonya and this company. From the beginning, Wonya cared about OUR story and doing it justice. While he was two hours away in Milwaukee, he was happy to come film our day in Northwest Indiana, didn't charge for travel and worked with us to create a package and payment plan that were perfect for us. One thing we loved is how good his audio was. Some videographers just capture images, not the words, and knowing how much thought we had put into our ceremony and how much we wanted to remember the toasts from our friends and family, great audio was important to us. Then the flexiblity and courtesy just went from there. He and his wife (the second videographer) stayed longer at our reception to show us a one-minute edited video so we could see how the footage was turning out. And we got our videos SO fast after the wedding. Nothing went wrong, and everything went right. My now-husband I and keep saying choosing Unscripted Love Films was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. We're so grateful for the awesome work and collaboration Wonya gave us.
