An MRI was scheduled for me, Olga Meyer, for this coming Sunday, June 14th. This appointment was confirmed approximately two to three weeks ago. However, today--Friday, June 12th--less than 48 hours before the scheduled procedure, I received a text message abruptly stating that my appointment must be rescheduled to Monday. Following this notice, my husband attempted to contact your office five separate times to resolve this issue. Not a single call was answered, nor have we received any return communication. This level of service is entirely unacceptable. Forcing a patient to shift an appointment from a weekend to a workday on such short notice is a major disruption. Furthermore, leaving a patient completely unable to reach anyone to discuss the change is a terrible business practice that severely damages client trust. Please be advised that I am contacting the law firm that coordinated this referral to formally complain about this experience and ensure they are aware of how their clients are being treated. The only thing I want to pass on is my experience inside the machine that it was super loud. The furnished earplugs were okay, but it was still loud in there so I would recommend a more efficient noise-stopping earplugs. I would have preferred to book online, but a Coronary Calcium Scan simply wasn't listed as an available option on their website, so calling was my only choice. The appointment was set. Then, at 4:30 PM the day before my scan, I got a call telling me I needed a doctor's referral. When I reminded the rep that I had specifically explained I was self-pay with no referral, it didn't matter -- the appointment was cancelled anyway. I can't review the facility itself, the equipment, or the on-site staff because I never got that far. What I can say is that the intake process failed at every step: an inaccessible phone system, an incomplete online booking option, and front-end staff who either don't document or don't read patient notes. I hope someone at RadNet reads this and uses it as an opportunity to train staff on handling self-pay patients properly. A last-minute cancellation caused by an intake error wastes patients' time and erodes trust before the relationship even begins.

I started seeing Dr. J in April for a very challenging and murky prenatal finding - both clinically and emotionally - during my very first pregnancy. We were all navigating uncertain territory and there were many complexities involved. In all this, Dr. J did what any great specialist should do: he used his expertise to share what he thought about the situation, my health, the baby's health, and the implications of all of that. He practiced compassion and humility and encouraged us to have difficult conversations and get a 2nd opinion if we wanted to. In the end, Dr. J and his staff, particularly Claudia, went totally above and beyond to give us the best care possible, they made coordinating with other labs/doctors as seamless as possible and advocated for us in honoring our wishes and needs as parents. Then he went on to all the complications that can happen, deformities etc. This went on for 15- 20 more mins and then we went to his office where he continued to try and scare me and making me feel guilty. Again he just kept mentioning TERMINATING. He told me I would need to check my sugars 6+ times a day which I have no problem with EXCEPT for when I'm at work grooming dogs. He proceeded to tell me that "You know what that tells me you care more about your job than your health"... Ummm NO SIR the exact opposite I'm not trying to get infections or bacteria from open wounds on my hands and I explained that to him and he continued to say I didn't care about my health. I asked him if I could get the sensors that you put in your arm and he sed those arnt always accurate. (Anything I suggested he told me wasn't good enough unless it was what he was suggesting) He proceeded to tell me I didn't look like I exercised much and again I should terminate my pregnancy and worry bout my health and a baby could maybe come later... when I told him I wished to continue with my pregnancy and that I'm very dedicated to getting back on track to being healthy he seemed annoyed at the fact and then began telling me he was gonna get me on a different type of insulin because the "pens" I was using obviously weren't working so he prescribed insulin in glass vials? Funny cause I thought insulin is insulin regardless of what it comes in. The entire visit with this man was dreadful. Shitty bedside manner and way to make some feel like nothing. I understand informing someone of the complications of being pregnant and a diabetic but this is not the way to tell someone and try and force them to make the decision you want. My recommendation is: DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! And just fyi my a1c is 6 now A**HOLE!!

Some places I've been in the past seem like a factory where myself and other patients are being worked on at the same time. It's definitely not like that here. They take their time and give you full attention to your issues and therapy. I'm so happy to have found them.
