I took my 2017 black metallic Toyota Corolla in to have a fist sized dent looked at. Three other top rated body shops all quoted me between $560-900.00. Reading up on these places I noticed CARSTAR advertising that they had special tools / machines that may help me , without having to patch and paint . So I went over to their shop and they brought out the technician, who said : Oh yeah I think I can fix that. In addition to that , the quote was $410. I took it in, they had it a day and I picked it up looking perfect?Not only did they fix the problem, they washed the car, cleaned the inside and blackened my tires , plus everyone gets a jar of delicious apple butter.Think I'm done?Oh wait... I paid cash and no one had change for a $20. So the boss said just the $400 and skip the $10. What a great place and great people who work there. Well Done!! read more

Hey I get in a lot of accidents. The staff at patriots are really friendly and have impeccable integrity. Their work is outstanding and their quality process leaves little to error. They will make it right if for some reason there is an issue. It has never happened to me as I have been a customer since 2008. They will work with your insurance company to iron out the logistics to include working with enterprise car rental. I love USAA and CARSTAR Patriot Collision. The estimate was writen fast and with great detail. As far as price goes, it was cheaper than my first estimate from "Koons" Colision Repair. I left this business feeling valued as a customer. This is the best customer service I have received from any company. I was leaving town & was on a tight timeline. I was kept informed on the progress of obtaining parts and likely time for completion of work by text message and telephone calls. When I brought my car in, Norma called my insurance company and received their approval to repair everything including a tire that I was not sure was damaged in the accident. Traveling a lot I worry about those items my wife has to handle that I normally take care of but not with Carstar Patriot Collision Center of Winchester! I am so impressed with their courtesy, attention to detail, keeping us informed every step of the way, and cleanliness of vehicle when they returned it to her. In this day and age of a lack of courtesy we really appreciate finding a place like this for our business. IF ALL YOU WANT IS A PAINT JOB - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH CARSTAR PATRIOT COLLISION CENTER!!! Picked up a rare low mileage 02 GTP coupe and decided to get it completely refinished. Made an appointment to get an estimate and it was a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. Estimator said that their paint jobs start at $7,000 and that any dents, dings, removing trim, removing lights, removing mirrors, were all extra and MANDATORY. He didn't even finish the estimate! Never called. Never emailed. If all you want to do is insurance repairs - be up front! You will NEVER get my buisness. read more

Unfortunately my experience was a nightmare. I called and made an appointment for an estimate. I arrived for the appointment fifteen minutes earky. My estimator was Bud. He was over a half an hour late beginning my estimate...i couldn't believe it when I saw him sitting in an office literally shoving McDonalds in his mouth, talking with a female coworker like it was social hour. I found the staff to be condescending. There was an elderly woman cleaning the office that seemed to do nothing but gossip and it seemed as if she and the woman Bud was having social hour with (when he should have been doing my estimate) were members of the same church because they seemed to particularly enjoy discussing other churchmembers..and not in a nice way. Needless to say. I did not bring my vehcle back for repair..it went to Pohanka...fantastic review to follow for there!!! read more

After getting rear ended in an auto accident - Allstate recommended Patriot Collision (of course there are reasons for that but I won't get into that aspect). The manager 'Larry' seemed nice enough first - promising to communicate about the progress of the vehicle and lead us through the steps. What actually happened was that we received no calls until the car was fixed at 3pm on Friday and then told if we didn't come and get it - the insurance wouldn't pay further for the rental. We had no idea the car was even close to fixed due to the lack of (no) communication. HOWEVER, that wasn't even the upsetting part - although he seemed nice at first - when he spoke to me (the female) involved - he became VERY 'good ole boy' in his communication tactics with "hey lady" and "you are making a problem lady" and it reminded me of the 70's when you HAD to have your husband do the talking or you wouldn't get anywhere with service. If you are a female - I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND you use this place because all is well until you 'question' something. He actually said, "Well, I didn't need to call you because there was nothing additional I needed to do on the car or no parts to order." To which I replied, "well, shouldn't you have called to tell me that so I would know the car would be fixed 'sooner' than anticipated?" Since he didn't use my name and continued to call me "LADY" - I deem this place inappropriate and sham worked in with Allstate and of the course the estimate from the insurance company is exactly the price of the fix. Another auto shop would have charged based on what was needed - not what Allstate dictated. DON"T USE THIS PLACE UNLESS you are a good ole boy who likes to get taken advantage of. read more
