We have used Patriot for tick and mosquito prevention the last couple of years. We decided this year in an effort to save some money, we would take a break from the service. Unfortunately, they showed up and spayed our yard without consent. Usually I am the one that makes contact with a Patriot to pay in full for services at the beginning of the season. This year, I decided not to contact. We didn't receive any communication from them, no phone calls, text, mail to ask to renew. When I saw that the yard was getting sprayed, I immediately went outside to talk to the employee. He said that it was OK and it was just a mistake, and it would be free of charge and handed me a copy of the statement so I could call the office. I immediately called the company and spoke with Katie, she informed me that they would still be charging my credit card $120. Which makes no sense, because for the year we usually pay less than $500. When I told her we no longer wanted their services, she said I would need to speak to a manager to cancel and I would still need to pay. We didn't hear back from anyone at all. Since my husband is on the statement, he called several times with no response. He finally got ahold of someone today. They were extremely rude and refused to cancel the charge, even though we didn't sign a statement or hear from them to renew. After being a solid customer for several years and paying my bill upfront before spring, I feel like this is terrible customer service and they should be ashamed. Current customers need to check their credit cards, because this place is scamming people. read more

I am not even a customer and I would NOT recommend this company. My neighbor uses them and the technician came over onto my property (on the other side of my house) and performed a core aeration service. I have an irrigation system and I now have damage to my sprinkler heads. Both myself and husband had to take time off work, out of our day to deal with the mess. Their operations manager, Justin, had an attitude and did not offer a sincere apology. In fact there wasn't one at all. I am beyond irate that I have to clean up after their mess/damage. We used their service for three years and every year it was getting worse. Our garden has multiple nooks and corners, but the guy never covered the full service. He also forgot one side or another or the house. I ended up asking him to leave me some product so I could do it myself. This year we decided not to renew, but they sent somebody anyway. We I called and said that we had not renewed, they said it was automatic and charged us twice the price we had paid the first year. Very sloppy company, unfriendly phone personal and management. We signed up for one year of service last year (for lawn care and pest control). They sent us paperwork to renew this year and we did not renew as we weren't sure we wanted to pay this year. Even though we never renewed they came out and did a fertilizer application and charged us for it anyway. I was not informed of an auto-renew on this service and I did not want it, why bother sending a renewal of service letter if you are going to force me to renew? We were honestly initially upset that we didn't renew because we thought a pest control contract might be worth it, but the sketchy tactic of just coming back and charging people that didn't sign up again is not cool. DO NOT RECOMMEND. We were going to renew our contract next year, but since they pulled this we will be finding a different company to meet our needs. read more

I am so glad they perished as lawn care company, don't know how many they have cheated in the process. These people used to be PATRIOT Go Green Lawn Care, (www.callmylawnguy.com; just got re-directed to https://www.patriotpestmanagement.com/) Sometimes in February of 2016 they sold me a full season lawn care program for the summer, however I could not find them to do the service even in late April, my neighbors got started in March, I told them not to do anything for me as I would hire someone else, and I did, got my lawn maintenance program started right away. Patriot went ahead and billed me anyway claimng they treated my lawn on May 9th of 2016, even though i told them not to. The lady on the phone was so horrible, she would not listen, and finally filed a lawsuit against me. I was so furious, I took the cheaper way and paid up, but it felt so wrong, I knew back then dishonest business can not survive. I am glad to see them die down, now doing pest management only, which I expect to die as well. Hope they don't get to hurt too many people. Better stay away from them. read more

After a year of services and pest removal, they decided to no longer service this area without notification. I was left in the midst of a rodent issue in my basement, which should of been fixed within the first 3 times they came out for this issue, when basically, they told me they can no longer help with my problem because they were no longer services Chelmsford. I'm dissatisfied and disappointed in the level of customer service and communication. They couldn't find twenty minutes to refill "their" traps, or 5 minutes to call and tell me. I recently had a yellow jacket infestation in one of my spare bedroom and I have to say that I had a great experience with Patriot Pest. Where I was able to explain in detail and provide a video of exactly my problem was (YJ coming through a crack in the window and making a nest in the wall, totally sucked), they were able to give a price over the phone. I called around a lot of places and they were definitely one of the most reasonably priced ones on top of giving it to me over the phone and not a crazy sliding scale like other other companies. I'm a first-time homebuyer so that was pretty important. My technician Efran came in like a boss and was out in less than an hour. It's been two days and no issue. Great company, would recommend highly to at least give them a chance if you need their services. read more

I hired these guys to support our lawn,.. after a couple of years i ended up with more weeds then ever.. they claim they guarantee their work and you get free call back to deal with any issues .. after a weed call back they decided to do a for fee services vs a free weed followup.. so they charged me to come and address their problem.. was never resolved. weeds were a mess . never heard back from them except as they sent my account to collections because i would not pay the last fee read more

We are very happy with their service, their timely response to questions and the overall improvement of our lawn. We had lots of weeds, trying to deal with them on our own with no success. They seemed to be getting more and more. So we finally decided to outsource it to the pros. Should have done that years ago. They told us it will take two years to get rid of them, but it already looks a lot better. Their pricing was very resonable as well. We are extremely dissatisfied with this company. We asked to have our lawn seeded as part of the package. They never did it. We asked if their products were safe for our dogs and after 6 months admitted that the dogs should not go on the lawn for several hours after the application. DO NOT USE PATRIOT LAWN CARE! read more

We have been using Patriot for three years now. Whatever the issue, they are always quick to respond and come take care of it right away. Mosquitoes and ticks are noticeably reduced after application and their pricing is reasonable especially for the high quality and service you get. After using a national chain and still having a mice problem I switched to Patriot several years ago and have been using them ever since. I receive their annual protection service for mice, ants, spiders and also to have the lawn sprayed 2x a year for flea/tick. They are always very responsive and prompt and the chemicals/poison they use are very effective. Unlike the other reviewer's experience, they've always told me to keep kids and dogs off the lawn for several hours after a spraying. read more

My husband & I were so happy with the service from Patriot Pest Management! We live in a wooded area abutting conservation land, so bugs and critters love our yard. Before the snow had even melted, we pulled 6 ticks from our dog. We had Patriot come in to begin treating our yard and never saw another tick. Terrible service. Used them for bees in our home. Came and briefly shot a hive outside the home. Told us to call back if bees were still seen in the home, which they were. Called them again and got no response. Another exterminator came out after another call was placed. Bees remained in the home so they were called again. No response and 2 days later my wife was stung while she was sleeping. Thankfully it wasn't my 1 or 3 year old. Terrible customer service read more

I am writing this review with my father-in-law Richard Moore. This is his 3rd year using Patriot Pest Management to put chemicals on the lawn as well as weed and feed. The first year was an A+ they were great. The 2nd year was a B-, and now this year, the 3rd year it has been an F- .. horrible. If it was possible to give zero stars we would have. They come and put down an application and say wait two weeks to see if anything comes up (weeds, dandelions etc.) and then call for a follow up. So, 2 weeks go by and a follow up is needed. My father in law calls and they say okay well get back to you in 7-8 business days to schedule a follow up appt. This is already about 2 more weeks since the 2 week waiting period. Then my father in law doesn't hear from them for 11 business days and when he does its time for his application appointment and he misses out on the follow up. They have a system where they get out of any follow up work they should be doing for their clients. My father in laws friend called yesterday for a lawn company recommendation and my Father in law was sure to let him know he would not recommend his current company to anyone. read more

They call the day before they come, leave a report of services performed and they don't skimp on the products they put down like many other companies.
