Love the chicken. Thursday special "buy a whole chicken and get an extra half free." Rice, beans, etc not pictured here.

Still great. I've been going for years. I usually go on Thursday and get the whole chicken special. The grilled flank steak meal is also fantastic.

This is what good food is all about, take something super simple and make it so good that it's unforgettable. I got the whole chicken with rice, beans, tortillas, and a green and red salsa for $18.99. A simple no-frills food truck in a gas station parking lot, but it was some of the best chicken I've had. The wood-fired chicken had a great flavor and the sides go well. The green sauce is the best for dipping the chicken. I will be back, I might need two chickens next time because just two people finished the one - it was just that good!

5 star chicken in Styrofoam and a plastic bag out of a food truck on Santa Fe you say? Yes, and then some. Holy smokes! What is going ON here? For one, a super smokey half chicken for me with a hint of crispy burn, perfectly seasoned (brined I'm guessing) complimented by small sides of rice and beans (latter with bits of hot dog and onion), a massive seared off jalapeno pepper, two fiery sauces also in small Styrofoam containers--one green, one red--both which appear to be made from scratch + a foil pouch full of corn tortillas. For $10+ with a Jarritos, pure bliss, and food that doesn't make you feel like you hate yourself a couple of hours later. What everyone's saying about this place, they're spot on. I get it that not everyone wants to eat from a food truck, but the two picnic tables under a small tent on a semi-cloudy/sunny day held a lot of very happy folks. Good amount of drive-up and carryout traffic to boot. This is serious good eatin'. If you enjoyed the barbecue chicken at El Pollo Rey in Kansas City Kansas you'll love this.

My 1/2 chicken meal (included four pieces of chicken, charro beans, rice, five tortillas, two salsas, and a grilled pepper for $8.90) was absolutely delicious, and reasonably priced for what you get. The chicken had a delicious medium+ heat level, was nicely cooked, not greasy, and somewhat moist. The rice was surprisingly good, with a medium+ heat level, too. The charro beans (pintos with hot dog bits) were soupy, mild, and okay. The five tortillas were fresh and hot, while the grilled pepper was spicy and delicious. The two salsas were also nice, with good heat. The service was fast and cheerful, and there was a covered outdoor seating area nearby. Specials were available on FB, and they accepted my credit card. Utensils and napkins were not included in my order, so be sure to ask if you need them. They have a semi-permanent location at the Santa Fe Fuel parking lot. Excellent!

Very, very good. Juicy chicken. Served with rice, beans and tortillas. 1/2 chicken or full. Well worth it.

Chips and queso were pretty good. I like that they lightly seasoned the chips. I was expecting the pork and chicken to have a big punch of flavor but it was really lacking. I liked the flour tortilla shells that were used but it would have been better if they had warmed the tortillas first. They do provide a generous serving of meat, but I would have liked more toppings on the tacos. Service was ok. They were able to move through the orders fairly quickly. If anyone is a germaphobe, I wouldn't recommend eating here. I saw he used the same gloves to grab your order card, stick it up near the window, prepare the chips and grab the tortillas. It wasn't that big of a deal but just a heads up if something like that were to bother you.

I just didn't want alcohol because I went in with a headache & it would have made it worse. Red Crow's ambiance was great, though. It's cute & quirky and very relaxed. Everyone in there seemed happy (staff included). I'll make my way back again in the fall if they have their chai stout back.

Honestly, I probably just chose the wrong thing bc this was a bit too heavy for me. I wish there was something breaking up the monotony of textures (the chicken & pork were both pulled- I wonder if diced/fried chicken might work) and flavors (the sweetness of the BBQ sauce overpowered the buffalo sauce). Again, this is on me, but I hadn't realized the Buff-a-que doesn't come with a slaw, but this might have been a good addition. However, the bread was perfectly toasted & buttery, and I appreciated that they provide chips as a side. Can't comment on ambiance; service was fast and friendly. 6/10 would maybe recommend, I'd try another sandwich next time!

I ordered the buffalo melt and to be honest, it didn't quite hit my expectations. Not a bad sandwich per se, but it didn't have a level of elevation, and was more a chopped buffalo chicken dip in between two pieces of bread. The bread was delicious with a nice buttered taste and crunch. My sister ordered the nachos which were also okay. The meat seasoning didn't hit the mark for me but the corn was a delicious addition. Overall a solid food truck with a good concept but would love to see a little more pops of flavor for me to actively seek it out again outside of an event.

We've been driving by this food truck near-daily for two years, and thought it was high-time to try…read moreit! It's commonly parked on the southwest corner of Santa Fe (135th) and Ridgeview for lunch and dinner service. We arrived at 1:00 on a Wednesday, and there wasn't any line! The menu is pretty simple and straight-forward: a handful of "plates" that vary in carnivorous selection, along with rice, charro beans, green sauce, red sauce, pico, lime, tortillas & grilled jalapeño. Our family of four decided on a Full chicken (8 pieces) and a Mixed Plate (chicken, steak ("arrachera"), and short ribs). This was easily enough food for our family of four! My son enjoyed eating the chicken legs and thighs plain, while the other three of us made tacos out of the meat, beans, rice, lime, salsas, and tortillas! Speaking of the tortillas: they were corn-based, but much stronger than typical corn tortillas, which was very much appreciated! The chicken and arrachera were amazing!! The chicken was well seasoned, and the dark meats were perfectly cooked! The breast meat was just a tiny bit overcooked, but only by the smallest margin. I only mention it because I was a little surprised that a place with chicken in the name, and cooking, what I suspect to be, dozens of chickens a day, would overdo it. The arrachera was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and tore apart easily by hand to make lovely arrachera tacos! Now, unfortunately, for the bad news: when we got home and opened up our food, we found that there were zero short ribs in our mixed plate box! They didn't mention being out, and there wasn't any extra of the other two meats. Since this was 1/3 of the proteins included in an over-$20 plate, it was pretty disappointing. Since they failed to mention this fact when ordering or receiving the food, it unfortunately affects both the value and service rating in my review. The rice and beans were fantastic! Everything stayed really nice and warm for our 15-minute drive home, meaning they prepared and boxed everything well. On the positive side with regard to service: they DID mention up front that ordering a mixed plate would result in a 7-8 minute wait, which proved accurate. Being in customer-facing roles my entire professional life, I strongly appreciate and respect when people set proper expectations up front! A+ for this move, and also for having a transponder system set up for ordering/collecting food. Due to the amazing food we DID receive, combined with speedy and convenient service, we'll be back for round two very soon! ....I'll just be checking my order upon receipt at the window to make sure I finally get that short rib! :) Food = 4/5 Service = 3/5 Value = 3/5

Lol Chicken fingers, pho, French fries, boiled peanuts, pickles, tea, and there's a few more. I'm joking about being an expert but these are foods I love so I am drawn to them and I can be picky and a bit judgmental if they aren't good. Well, here we have the great pretzel! And trust me, The Pretzelly Truck makes a first rate pretzel! And an amazing variety of pretzel options especially considering it's a truck. The truck itself literally boosts my dopamine levels when I see it! Pink and more pink! It creates an atmosphere of happy just when you are around it! And the owner (female owned! You go girl! A boss!) is such a pleasure. She is always quick and efficient but still has a way to make you feel like you are the only person who matters while she makes your pretzel! She is a really bright spot in a world that feels dark right now. I'm going to remember to take pics the next time I'm lucky enough to be in The Pretzelly Truck's presence. My only issue is because it's a truck, she moves around and I can't always get a pretzel but then I think about how that makes it even more special when I do get a pretzel! She posts her schedule on her social media accounts. I know she uses Facebook and I believe Insta. Maybe even more. Find her and the pink truck! You won't regret it if you love a yummy pretzel!

Welp, sure enough, the rumors are TRUE! Right off the main strip in town is a decent-sized lot that this truck has taken residence on, replete with tables and seating, about 10 parking places, and trash receptacles. We stopped in on an unseasonably warm, late December evening, and tried a few different types of dishes: steak hibachi, shrimp lo mein, sushi, chicken hibachi, and lots of yum yum sauce! I was (mostly) responsible for the sushi roll. Normally, I'm a 2, maybe 3 roll per sitting kinda guy. For whatever reason, on this evening, I decided to start with one...and thank goodness I did, as the roll was enormous! Like, the volume of at LEAST two rolls at any other place! Delicious, well-made, and extremely filling! In my ratings, I'd give the lo mein second place - it was fantastic, and included lots and lots of shrimp, which thrilled my son! He woofed it down, fast! The ladies in our party each got hibachi, and both loved it! The Yum yum sauce came in handy for their meat, veggies and rice. As we ate under the stars, we saw about a dozen folks swing in for take out, meaning we were definitely behind the eight ball in finding this gem out on the prairie! The gentleman running the window was kind and helpful with our order, and they had our food prepared in about 20 minutes! Not bad, considering the busy Friday night they were having! It's usually where I find great food. From the outside the building looks old but also traditional and pleasant. When I walked in, I felt joy at the updated interior with bright colors, a small seating area, and counter. I only saw Mexican people which also made me happy. I had placed my order online which I had made before running in to the other place I was going. It was ready when I arrived. I got a few a la carte items so I could try some variety. I got three tacos: one asade and one that was puerco in verde sauce and a birria. The birria was more expensive but the other 2 tacos were $2.85 each. I got one chicken and one beef empanadas. I loved that they came dressed with lettuce, tomato, and some avocado. I also got plantains with black beans. I shared everything with my partner who is Latin, not Mexican. He still appreciates Mexican dishes. The asada and birria tacos were very good. The puerco with verde was not what I had thought and was more of a pork skin coated with verde sauce. Very chewy and I'm not a fan of that kind of texture so I passed on tasting but my partner was happy to eat it. They have Taco Tuesday as well. I'm including a photo of the sign for that special! $1 less on each taco. They offer several other varieties of tacos. They are all what I would call street style which is my favorite style. Cilantro, onions, and you add lime and sauce if you choose. The empanadas were also good. Maybe a tad greasy but it's fried so... the flavors were good. I thought the beef one could have used more filling but they were fried to perfection. I absolutely loved the plantain and black beans dish. I was expecting green plantains (tostones) prepared to eat them with the beans. I got what I'd call maduros, with cheese and cream with a side of black beans. The maduros were so yummy! Perfection with the caramelization and the slightly melted cream and fine grated cheese. I inhaled these and did not share them! I wasn't sure exactly how to eat them with the beans but I mixed some of it and it was delicious. I want more of this! I spent slightly over $30 with a small tip, taxes, and a $1.75 convenience fee to order online. I might just go in to order in person next time because I don't love paying that fee. I was too busy eating my food when I got home and forgot to take photos! Sorry but that's usually a compliment to the restaurant because I'm enjoying my food too much to remember. I noticed they had a small van in the parking lot with their name on it so maybe they do some catering. Not sure but I'll definitely be back even though it's a bit out of the way for me.
