What an amazing dining experience this evening at Patrona Cocina and Tequila in Mission Viejo. Francisco was our terrific server and was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We started with drinks. I had a few Paloma Hermosas with Mezcal and my wife had the frozen margarita. We also ordered the guacamole which was made by Francisco tableside and tasted amazing. For dinner my wife had the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans and I had the La Tampiquena medium rare. The food, drinks and service were excellent and the ambiance very positive and upbeat. Our compliments to the chef, Francisco and the other staff members. The place is clean and we saw another table ordered the fajitas and they look great as well. They also have several fish entrees. Highly recommended

This place has the misfortune of being located on the top floor of the Kaleidoscope, a ghost town of a mall complex. The flip side of that is it's super easy to get a seat. Food is higher-end Mexican and while it might seem a bit pricy, the portions are generous so you'll likely have leftovers for another meal. Daily specials are a good value as well. Full bar with lots of margarita options

*Our experience here was a few months ago, before they had their opening, so I want to give them some credit...* Make sure you order their guac, it was insanely delicious. We came here for a birthday get together with adults and kids. The food was tasty, with exotic flavors and the margaritas flight comes in a really cool display. The adults ended up all ordering the same dish, but it was a little too spicy. If you do not like spicy food, even their mild was really spicy. They have a nice bar area and they do live music, too. Also have kids menu, which is more on the pricier side (for being for kids). While we enjoyed our meal, we felt somewhat overwhelmed by the frequent visits from our server and other staff. We were checked on more than eight times, which felt a bit excessive. We understand their intentions were good, but the constant interruptions unfortunately disrupted our conversation and led us to think about shortening our dining experience to spend more time socializing elsewhere, but they were closing, so it all worked out nicely. The classy/ exotic, romantic ambiance is a nice experience and staff were kind to accommodate our kids' needs. I'm pretty sure they show sports here too. Nice little bar area with good drinks!

We stumbled upon Patrona on a whim. Absolutely loved it! Abraham, was very attentive from the moment we walked in. Everything was really good! The salsa is something I would pay for to go! Definitely coming back here for authentic Mexican food. The spicy isn't too spicy. Ask for hot if you like spicy.

If you haven't recently ventured to the Kaleidoscope Shopping Center, I recommend you do. I frequently visit BW spa next door and always go to lunch prior. Patrona is one of my favorites. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Abraham and Ivan. The customer service is top notch, hats off to Abraham. The food is on point. Did I mention the music? The music is perfect and the ambience could not be more fitting. Come visit and you will see!!

We had such a great experience here! We sat outside under the lights with live music playing and enjoyed our cocktails and appetizer. The vibe was cool! The taco sampler was incredible and came out with the coolest taco truck display. A+ for presentation. A+ for taste! A+ for cocktails! I highly recommend the watermelon tequila drink! It was so fresh and refreshing!

Amazing ! Located in the kaleidoscope center which has not the best location this place is surprisingly a hidden gem and worth the visit . We had the best margaritas and guacamole that is made table side. Staff is nice and accommodating beautiful restaurant and was able to substitute a few things for me. Pretty place with lots of specials during the week. Would for sure come back!

We tried Patrona Cocina Tequila last night for the first time after seeing advertisements. I gave this new restaurant 3 stars for being overcharged. When I arrived there were only 2 other tables with customers. I made reservations but was told we had to sit at the bar to get happy hour prices so we dined at the bar. Mind you HH is all day on Monday at the bar and outside patio. I ordered the Paloma off the regular menu for $13.00 and was charged $15.00. I ordered HH nachos off the HH menu for $12 and was charged $16 from the regular menu. I ordered 2 HH Taqueria (4 street tacos) for $11 and was charged $12. We were never told if we added steak/chicken instead of fish/pork there would be an extra charge. Not like it really matters but if you are going to charge extra tell your customers. Please check your receipts to make sure the prices are accurate.

    Margarita flight delicious.

Food is amazing and drinks are bomb. Our bartender Abraham was awesome and everything was great as always. Best service, welcoming staff and service I'll definitely come back again. Then we jumped outside and we met our favorite bartender for years in other places Margarito. We didn't know there was a bar outside that also belonged to Patrona's restaurant, anyway we took some shots there and some skinny margaritas with Margarito. This 2 great locations at the same place are awesome, weather you want to enjoy with family or alone with friends the environment is great.

Patrona Cocina Mexican restaurant at Crown Valley and the 5 (theatre shopping center). Search no more. This place is it. Will definitely be back! Great atmosphere, delicious food, reasonable prices! Table top guac!

Beautiful restaurant with amazing food, and service!!! Thank you for wonderful service Diana and staff!! Chips and salsa were delicious. Everything was super fresh. Spicy Aji tostada ($14) was an appetizer, but eats like a meal! Hubby got the Pollo Ala Tomatillo (chile rellano, tomatillo chicken and rice served with warm tortillas). ($23) Check this new place out. You will not be disappointed!! Located in the kaleidoscope center on Crown Valley, 3rd floor. We will be back soon. :)

My husband and I checked out this restaurant for the first time last night, and we were SO impressed. 12/10!!! Amazing food and drinks, fantastic service, and beautiful decor. We love that it's a family run business, too! We ordered guacamole and ceviche for appetizers. I'm not a huge seafood fan, but the ceviche was bomb! The guacamole was made fresh right at our table, which we thought was a very nice touch. We shared 3 dishes for dinner because we had such a hard time choosing just 2 lol. We ordered fish tacos (the red pepper aioli on it was to die for!), chicken enchiladas with green sauce, and the Patrona bowl with chicken. Everything was incredible! For drinks, we ordered a few watermelon margaritas each. They tasted super fresh and not too sweet or syrupy at all. Highly recommend you check this place out! Great spot for a fun date night or girls night. Thank you for the wonderful experience, Patrona!

We decided to do something spontaneous on a Friday night and me ande any beau ended up here. I had this place book marked for a while and it was close to home so it looked like a win-win situation. It is located in the Kaleidoscope shopping center down the street from the Mission Viejo Mall right off the freeway. There was lots of parking available in the parking structure. It is located on the top floor, where the food court is and some other restaurants. I don't know what it is about the shopping center, but it is never crowded and it seems like businesses never last. It reminds me of the District in Tustin. when we arrived at the restaurant, we were seated right away. There was only two other tables that were being used the place was pretty much empty and it was a Saturday night. Didn't seem very promising. I started thinking. Maybe the food is not good. Definitely the vibe is giving no vibe lol. But we decided to stick it through. We ordered some drinks. I ordered the Paloma and my partner. ordered a beer. since we were just wanting to check out the place we ordered some nachos to share. My drink was just OK. It was terrible, but I've definitely had better the nachos though were actually really good!! the tortillas were then and crispy. Normally I like a thicker tortilla, but these were nice. We ordered the nachos with Carne Asada and the meat was tender and tasted fresh. I felt iy lacked a little bit of flavor but nothing some salsa can't fix. I requested a salsa and the server brought over an Habanero salsa and that just made everything perfect. between the both of us, we demolished those nachos. We ended up ordering a pineapple mini Bundt cake with vanilla ice cream I believe for dessert. It was good, but not spectacular. overall, when I come back here again? I think I would to try out their other dishes and probably order a different drink the place inside it's super cute. The decor is really nice and they have some nice seating in the bar area. Also on a sidenote, if you need to use the restroom, you have to use the restroom that's outside of the restaurant, it's the restroom. I guess they use for all the restaurants up there on that top floor ,It's not too far just around the corner and the restrooms are nice and clean and spacious. I got a little lost on the way back to the restaurant, but that's my own fault. I'm always kind of backwards and the drink might've been kicking in hahaha. Oh and Service was great, our server was very kind and attentive. So I gave them four stars just because I feel like the vibe is not Vibing if they had a band playing in there or a mariachi or something to bump up the vibe it would be so much better. I heard they have a good happy hour so something else to consider so come check them out and give this place some business.!!

We've been here twice and have been impressed both times. The carnitas enchiladas are the best we've ever had. The drinks are great too!

Lazz was our amazing server assisted by Eddie and Mastrolini. We started with drinks ad my wife was craving a margarita and I had an iced tea. My wife started with a salad and I had a cup of their tri tip chili soup. We also had an opportunity to visit with Jose the GM. Jose is an amazing person and his staff are stellar under his leadership. We enjoy visiting with Jose and his staff as they genuinely care about the clientele and strive to make the experience special. My wife ordered the BBQ chicken flatbread and I had the linguine with chicken. The food, staff and ambiance are spectacular. My wife loves a frozen strawberry margarita which is not on the menu but Jose surprised her with one he made special for her. Great time with amazing people and making memories always. Our server was nice and attentive. Got our drinks and food fairly quick. I had the poke bowl, tuna and veggies are very fresh. The sushi rice wasn't the best, it was a tad undercooked and a bit mushy at the same time. I still enjoyed it regardless. Everyone else loved their food, massive portions. We all definitely left very satisfied with our lunch.
