We are swordfish connoisseur and this is one of the best swordfish bites that we have had. Also, the fries are hot and delicious. And we're so happy that they gave us hot in the middle of the period from here. You can see the old town on Mission Capistrano. The ambulance's candle lit and romantic

Location is perfect, smack downtown in front of the mission and a few minutes from the train station. I mention train station because I came to SJC via train. The place looks pretty cozy from the outside and it's quite comfortable inside too. Wait staffs are pretty friendly and they know the menu well enough. Not many veggie choices. So we started with the focaccia bread and the only veggie entry Farmer's market veggie. The other people ordered the trout that comes with some cauliflower and potatoes. They are good but not exactly wows

I took a day trip to San Juan Capistrano and asked my friend along. We walked the city and enjoyed the boutiques along the way. We decided to come back to Bloom to enjoy their happy hour that started at 4 pm. The host and bartender were very welcoming. The food was delicious, especially the calabrian honey wings served with smoked bleu cheese buttermilk dip and the caprese. And That Vodka Drink was unique, butterfly tea infused vodka, cucumber and lychee! So refreshing!! I would definitely return to try more of the menu.

Me and a friend decided to take a day trip out to San Juan Capistrano. After exploring around the mission as well as having drinks at the old town district, we opted to check this place out that was right next to the mission and heritage bbq! We walked in and was sat immediately at a booth next to a nice view of the street side. The guy sitting us was really nice and complimented my shirt lol. Totally forgot to take a picture of the menu but they had a brunch menu served from 11:00am-3:30pm and I opted to get the hangar steak and eggs with the daily affirmations cocktail. The drink came out first and was really refreshing! Next came out the steak and for the price ($24) I thought it was just the right amount of food. The steak itself was cooked medium rare to my liking and it tasted absolutely delicious! I wish there were more bites honestly. Eggs were cooked scrambled and tasted good and the vegetables paired with the steak matched perfect. My friend got the focaccia bread with honey butter with a salad and she said that tasted great as well! Overall this place is awesome. Server was really nice and the hostess packed our leftovers. For both of us it was around $100 for the amount of food and I'd say it was appropriately priced for all that we ate. If you're looking for a bite to eat that's right next to mission, definitely check this place out!

White Shrimp & Chilean Sea Bass Ceviche 10/10 This was so fresh!! I loved the cucumber and cherry tomato in the ceviche. Delicious and the cucumber gave it a slightly firm texture. The grilled hearts of palm with the avocado-lime mousse were perfect together! It all came together nicely. That's a great ceviche! Big fan of this dish! It was very fresh and had lots of flavors going on. It came together so well. The ingredients tasted like good quality. The shrimp tasted like it was just caught lol I think this ceviche would pair nicely with a wine. Service was great. They were friendly. Ambiance was laidback.

Came into blooms today, sat at the bar and the bartender Janet gave me a warm welcome to beautiful San Juan Capistrano. I started off with a beverage the vodka drink and it was so good I'd recommend to anyone! Janet then suggested the pork belly Benedict and it was phenomenal, overall 5/5 food, Janet gave exquisite service and all around quality definitely recommending to friends if you come in ask for Janet!

    WEDGE SALAD

Super cute place. The wedge was good - filled with blue cheese and fresh lettuce. It came chopped though I didn't request that. Had the fried chicken sandwich. Liked it a lot but the cole slaw leaked all over in like a puddle on the bun. Fries were okay - not really hot or crispy enough. Good service. But it is cold if you're near the door.

After having plans to visit the Rodeo Market it was too busy to be there and eat. My boyfriend and I walked across the street and found ourselves standing in front of bloom. We were both on the verge of hangry so we decided to give it a try. For a busy Saturday they weren't busy which was nice. We were immediately seated and given a menu. We both ordered drinks which were actually really delicious. I ordered a drink called "daily affirmations" and my boyfriend got a michelada. We then ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and a wagyu beef burger. Both were great and the fries were perfect too. The chicken was so tender and perfect I want to go back to eat another sandwich.

We had a reservation on the day of the Swallows Day parade. The streets were busy, but inside we were welcomed and seated right away. Our server, Clerisa, was friendly and cheerful throughout the evening. She made suggestions and made our experience. We had the delicious Zucchini Flowers with manchego cheese! Highly recommend. Then 3 of us had steak, we are enjoyed the flavor and tenderness of the meat. The wedge salad was also good and refreshing. Another friend had the chicken and really enjoyed it. I had the bonfire drink and I liked it enough to have 2. We had a great time! The food and service were 5 star!

Hi, I loved the blooms Hawaiian swordfish. It was very fresh and the best I've had in a long time. Service was good seated at the window where we could see the old mission walls. Ambience was beautiful. We could see the colorful bar area and it was quiet when we went in early then it filled up. It's a special place. Everybody should go there when they come here But sit by the window so you can see the old mission.

We came here today to celebrate my mom's birthday. When we arrived, we ordered a bottle of Prosecco for the table that came with three juices: guava, orange, and strawberry. The server was attentive in opening the bottle and pouring our glasses. He was also ready to make recommendations for the appetizers. We ordered the cinnamon roll, and the focaccia bread. We devoured both, they were delicious. For the meal, I ordered the BLT sandwich with avocado, and it came with a side of fries. The sandwich was delicious. Lastly, the server brought out an ice cream with cookie crumble for my mom to celebrate her birthday, which was so lovely touch. They were super welcoming, and encourage us to stay as long as we wanted. Thank you, Bloom, for a great time

We enjoyed our brunch here and chose this corner spot on a whim. Service is superb from every staff member from the hostess and everyone who waited on us or thanked us while leaving. Well done!

This was a good spot to check out for a date night! Interior is cute, and food was very tasty. Server was very pleasant as well! The cocktails weren't anything to rave about, but maybe I'll order something different next time. Nothing to rave about exactly, but no complaints either. Would dine again!!

Their food is rooted in Levantine cuisine which comes from the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East. Everything was too too good! The potatoes were sooo crispy and the sauce (made of labneh yogurt, chili, and lemon) that it came with had me licking up very last bit. Lastly, don't sleep on their Grilled Cabbage! It was served as a wedge and featured XO sauce, dried sausage, peanuts and tahini labneh sauce. This would probably get any kid to eat their veggies. Will most definitely be returning!

Their website teases that food is coming soon. It is a fairly small place and I would definitely recommend making a reservation on Yelp. If there are no reservations available when you want to visit, they also have a Yelp live waitlist. The building has its own parking lot with about ten spaces and is shared with the sushi speakeasy upstairs. We arrived around 6:30pm on a Sunday night, and luckily there were still quite a few spaces available. A half hour later, the place was packed. The outside of the building is not marked. Enter through the red double doors in front, walk to the right, and the entrance will be easy to spot. Seating options include eight seats at the bar, four high-top tables in the main area that seat four people each, and a slightly raised grotto area with one four-seat table and two two-seat tables. We often like to sit at the bar, but I reserved a table in the grotto so we could get the full experience and I'm glad I did. The interior has great décor with a mix of tiki and pirate ship elements. The walls are wooden plank, with cargo netting, ropes, and tiki lights above. The walls have portraits of Goonies movie characters. Take two steps up to the grotto area, and you are inside of a cave with skulls, shells, and treasures embedded in the cave walls. There is also a small waterfall in the corner. Scan the QR code on the table for the cocktail menu. It is colorful and many of the drinks have names tied to The Goonies. Each drink also has zero, one, or two skulls next to it to indicate the booziness factor. They have quite a few original cocktails as well as classic tiki drinks, a few mocktails, spirits, beer, and wine. I started out with the Ash Landing (Hamilton Pot Still Blonde Rum, Hamilton 86 Demerara Rum, Hamilton Pimento Dram, Angostura Bitters, Pineapple, Lime, Ginger, One Skull booziness, $14). This was definitely a little on the boozy side, with good ginger flavor and the pineapple and lime in the background. She started out with the One-Eyed Willy (Pou Vodka, Lychee, Guava, Coconut, Sweet & Sour, $15, keep the mug for $65). It is rare that a vodka drink is my favorite of the night, but this was both of our favorites. It was very balanced and juicy, and not boozy at all. The guava, coconut, and citrus from the sweet and sour were all there. We bought the mug, and they bring you a new one in original packaging. The purchased mug is colored a little differently (blue instead of black) than the mug the drink is served it, but it still looks great. While walking around taking pictures, I ran into our server and mentioned that it was my girlfriend's birthday. He kindly brought us some shots on the house. He said it was a recipe they had for shots during Halloween, and it tasted like a spin on a kamikaze. It was very good and much appreciated. I have a hard time resisting a cool mug, so for my second drink I ordered the Slick Shoes (Planteray Pineapple Rum, Worthy Park Rum, Bounty Dark Rum, Strawberry, Papaya, Lime Juice, $17). It is served in a cool sneaker mug with a flaming lime half on top. It was nicely balanced and just a tiny bit boozy. It had a nice light fruit flavor, not overly sweet at all. I think it is sometimes served in a regular glass, so if you order it, be sure to ask for the sneaker mug. Her second cocktail was the Never Say Die (Producer Mezcal, Kiwi, Lemon, Mango, Grilled Pineapple, $14). The smokiness of the mezcal was on the hairy edge of being too smoky for me, but she loved it. She could taste the kiwi and mango. We shared one last drink, the Garden of Eden (Papa's Pilar Blonde Rum, Lavender, Lemon, Elderflower, Cucumber Bitters, One Skull booziness, $17). It had an interesting (good) floral flavor profile, and didn't strike me as boozy at all. I could definitely taste the cucumber notes from the bitters. There was good 80s music playing in the background. It's a Goonies themed bar, I get it, but we would have enjoyed a few tiki songs in the mix too. There is one unisex restroom out in the lobby area. It is nice that they also themed it with wooden plank on the walls and ceiling, and some nautical décor. Daniel was our server and was very friendly and provided great service. Thanks again Daniel for the birthday shots! Bartender Felipe also delivered one round of our drinks and was also very friendly. All of the drinks were good and there are definitely more on the menu that we would like to return and try. We had a real fun time, thanks Lost Inferno!
