The young ladies who work there are friendly, helpful, and very patient with my children who seem to be very indecisive. We were really excited about eating it but the frosting was way too thick. And the cake was literally falling apart. When we first cut it, it crumbled down. They use to have great canolis i bought some a few weeks ago they are very tiny and they put in way way less filling in to their large canolis. I know prices have gone up and i dont mind paying more but dont do shrinkflation like all these other businesses. Start putting more filling into your canolis if you keep cutting corners you for sure will lose business. read more

I moved since and have been trying to find a bakery that makes cannoli cake that I buy every year, with the taste of rum & vanilla and found one, but it closed. Does it get any better than Patsy's?! My mom grew up in Lindenhurst and has many special memories here. Our immediate family moved from Long Island to Arizona about five years ago, and my mom made sure we stopped at Patsy's during our last visit, even though we were staying with family almost 50 minutes away! You just can't beat the Italian cream ices. So good! And of course their cookies and pastries are old world classic and to die for. They have tons of pastries, cakes, cookies, and breads. I visited on St. Patrick's Day in the afternoon, and they were all decked out, green everywhere, and everyone asking for soda bread. They had so many different kinds of baked good my head was spinning deciding what to get. The place was organized and clean. I also liked how they roped off the fridges immediately by the front. I wouldn't want someone's germs getting into the fridge. I was looking for some baked goods for a little tea party I was planning with my friends. I wanted to try the French Macarons to see if they were any good. They had many flavors, chocolate, cookies & cream, pistachio, raspberry, vanilla, and birthday cake for $2.50 a piece. She also told me all the little pastries in the case that included little tarts were about $8 a pound? I asked her how many they make in a day because I noticed there weren't much in the display case. She said q small amount is fine. But if you ask for like 100 of them they need weeks of advance in notice. I ended up getting one of each pistachio, raspberry, and birthday cake. They use a more cream based filling than jam like. I don't know what exactly people have had, but I do know my experience was certainly not 4.5 stars as Yelp may suggest. I've been obsessed with rainbow cookies since I was a kid and my grandmother would bring me some on the weekends here and there. I think these were a bit dry, as was another super sweet cookie we tried, the macarons were tiny, apparently "imported from France" and still your average 2.75 each. I would say they were light in flavor but just about exactly what a macaron should be (I've still had better) the cannoli cake pop as well as the birthday cake flavor were great. I can't say that this place blew me away so maybe I didn't order up the same things as other patrons of Patsy's... To each their own... Far be it to me to speculate on their taste buds, but their all wrong. Lol.
