    Caramel Apple Pie 10/10
    Jesse B.

Great little bakery. Staff was so nice. I went in for a Fruit Tart and then an Apple Pie the next day and wound up getting a couple free samples of their mini Dubai Cheesecakes too. Everything was excellent.

It WAS banana pudding lol I should've taken a before photo but it was too good!!

Nice staff delicious pastries would 100% recommend Right in the heart of Babylon village

I want to truly Thank You for customizing a perfect cake for my son's small private wedding ceremony. It was exactly what I requested. The cakes tasted exactly like your delicious black & white cookies which my family is obsessed with. Unfortunately I don't have a close up picture of the bride & groom cake pops but they said it was absolutely delicious. We miss you guys since your doors closed in Commack but of course when we want something delicious & sweet we always come to visit you. Thanks again! I always highly recommend you.

Beautiful bakery! So cute inside, the decor and layout is so lovely. Everything truly looked delicious. There were items everywhere you looked. I always have a hard time finding a good croissant on Long Island, and this one was as close to a Parisian croissant as I could find (only one other on LI received this status). Flakey, buttery, slightly crispy, it was truly delicious. I look forward to coming back and trying other things!

Beautiful bridal shower cake & the beautiful bride!

I ordered my daughter's bridal shower cake from Torta Fina on a friend's recommendation. As soon as I walked into the Bakeshoppe I knew I had made the right decision. The shoppe is immaculate and adorable with all their vintage touches. The cake was as delicious as it was gorgeous. Everyone was very impressed. Thank you!

I think is one of the best bakeries on the south shore of Long Island. From the decor, to the beautiful decorated cakes, and cup cakes. The cookies are over sized and amazing. It's hard to decide what to pick. They also so have gluten-free brownies and cookies, the can make gluten free cakes to order.

    Irish soda bread

Planning a trip back to get more cake pops ASAP! Went today for some Irish soda bread and left with an additional two rainbow cake pops. The Irish soda bread was not the traditional one I was expecting but instead had citrus undertones. I think there is candied orange baked inside. It is quite good though just a bit unexpected. The rainbow cake pops are bursting with flavor. My only regret is not buying more.

Sausage pie Made only around Thanksgiving time, it contains sweet Italian Fennel Sausage, Mozzarella, Ricotta, and Parmigiana Cheese. The look of this pie is quite striking, a work of edible art! I didn't know what to expect when I heard they made such a pie, and what it turned out to be was definitely different than anything I imagined. Essentially it's similar to a quiche lorraine, with crumbled sausage instead of bacon, and less of an egg texture for the filling. Instead, it's savory, creamy and rich. A slice would be good with breakfast, accompanied by an egg. If I had one complaint, it's that it doesn't have enough sausage in there. Dulce De Leche Chocolate Fudge Cookie A dollop of soft caramel atop a thick chocolate cookie, drizzled with chocolate. Decent, and while the caramel is a nice addition, the cookie was not quite as chocolatey as I wanted it to be . . . Upper West Side Chocolate Peanut Butter Chunk Cookie A veritable mound of chocolate cookie with a decent chocolate taste, with lots of peanut butter chips that unfortunately weren't as peanut buttery as one would like. . .

Something different than these pastry shop chana etc. First off Terry was unbelievable sweet & friendly. He went out of his way to be helpful & patient with me because I couldn't decide on Flavors or the amount. I guess I am old school or maybe just plain weird but I really like making the HUMAN connection when I am out & about.... I feel like people just aren't very socia anymore ....for a number of reasons . ANYWAY , if you have not been to AhugaPie Shop you ABSOLUTELY MUST GO. So I guess most people would equate a sugar pie to a Whoopie pie. These sugar pies are pretty big and a half of one is more than enough. Terry told me some people buy them and cut them in half and freeze them and take them out as they want them. Which I think is a great idea and is which what I did because I do not live nearby, but I would definitely drive to the end of the Earth for more. It's just one of those places. And I am not a big sweet person put the cake is just always soft and flavorful and delicious. And the filling is the right amount of the flavor and whipped cream and sugar. I think they have like 10 or so flavors available every day and they switch them around. I've probably tried five or six different flavors over the past two years and again all of them were very consistently delicious and amazing. I can't even explain it . It's just perfect. I've had them a few times before when a coworker brought them in. And I finally got a chance to go myself. I was so happy to share the experience with my family.. personally I love the chocolate cake with the peanut butter filling. So if your peanut butter lover, OMG go go go!!! . The product is very consistent. They do have a very specific hours. And as Terry recommended, it's always best to call ahead and either order , check the flavors of the day . & or the shop hours. It kind of blew my diet, but it was well worth it.. please go you will not be disappointed.. the only negative thing I can say about my experience is I wish I had bought a more of a variety of flavors. But that's on me l. Thank you Terry for your kindness - people like you restore my faith in mankind. and you make a dang good SHUGA PIE

I was a little hesitant after my first experience but they were listed in my LI Cafe Passport book I got for Christmas and I want to go to all the spots in that book even if I'm revisiting. My second experience was much better so I'm upping my review to 4 stars. The staff was nicer this time. I opted for a pour over because that's what the book recommended and I got the cherry vanilla latte as well with half and half. I was able to sit in the coffee shop because I had dropped my son off at a birthday party and had a little time before I picked him up. I caught up on watching Friday Night Smackdown before elimination chamber with headphones on of course so I wouldn't disturb other people and I finished a book I was reading. The seating was nice, an optional variety of different kinds of seats and lots of seating. The latte was very smooth, you could definitely taste the coffee more in the pour over but that was good, the coffee went down nicely, not a lot of bitterness. So Jack Jack's redeemed themselves in my eyes almost ten years after my first review and I would be able to recommend going to them. Babylon Bean will still be my favorite coffee shop in Babylon but both of them are nice to visit. Original Review: March 22, 2016 I came here after picking up my jacket from the dry cleaners. I didn't like it very much at all and am happy to say my heart and my business will continue to go to the Babylon Bean! The baristas did not seem happy at all when they helped me. They weren't rude but they weren't sweet or nice either. I chose a brownie to eat and got a cup of regular coffee. The coffee was okay, not horrid but for sure not great. The brownie was disgusting. I couldn't eat the whole thing ended up throwing it on the ground for the birds to eat. This place also has a hipster vibe, sometimes I can dig it but sometimes I can't. So in my personal experience if the babylon bean and this place had a throw down I would always favor the bean!
