Went here after getting some work done at another shop and paid over $1k and car still had problems! The gentleman in the front reception was so helpful and respectful, I wish I got his name to give him a shoutout! But after explaining my situation to him, he had 2 solutions and said he'd try the 1st option and would have me test drive my car to see if it helped. New ownership ALTHOUGH much more efficient has lost the personal touch and charm. Colder, more efficient short snappy answers almost turning away business. Prices went up (new economy, happening to us too, Blah, Blah, Blah) still a short pause would have been an easier way of taking over long-time customers as well as building trust. I came here to get a second opinion because I had a bad experience at Wheel Warehouse in Orange, CA when I was getting new tires. They said I needed a wheel alignment but I opted out because I just took my car to my mechanic to get it serviced. I trust him and he would've mentioned something. Then when I picked up my car from Wheel Warehouse, I noticed they hadn't adjusted my psi. It was in the 40s. Isn't this service basic, though? For a business that does tires? Anyway, when I took my car to Patterson's to check my alignment, they said it was perfect. No alignment needed. The nice gentleman also adjusted my psi saying it was too high. On top of that, they didn't charge me for anything! Gary and his team are awesome and I would definitely recommend this place if you want honest, great customer service. Five stars all the way. During the middle of last week, I realized my two front tires were getting as worn out as a Lady Gaga record. I was originally going to take my car to the Chevy dealer. But OEM tire was $ $200 each for mid range tires plus balancing was $15 per tire, or $430 plus tax out the door . So I came here based on yelp reviews hopefully to get a much better deal on decent tires. Thankfully, the owner of Patterson tires told me that a mid range alternative that he had in stock, was $110 each plus $8 for balancing each tire, and free tire rotation. Total was $225. And looking and acting like an impatient guy, I then asked..."how long would it take"? I was expecting it to take at least an hour, especially with the balancing. I would typically take a walk in the neighborhood to kill time. Well, although this part of Santa Ana off Bristol wasn't that bad, it was too hot to walk (88 degrees). The owner surprisingly said, "Well, one of my guys is out on a delivery, but I'll do the work myself and finish in a little over 30 minutes." Whoa, that is great service, especially from the owner. I sat outside making phone calls on a patio chair. I was in and out of there in 35 minutes - score. They don't have a hydraulic lift, either. So, he had to roll the two tires, and fill them with air...then balance them. He then uses a tire jack to lift my car. He lifts and installs the tires, and a pneumatic screw gun. He also checked and filled the spare mini tire with air. In two minutes, I swiped my Debit card, and I was out of there. Now that's service. They have been in business forever. The owner's father started this business over 35 years ago, and he'll still go there to clean up before opening. They are a small but strong operation. Nothing like an honest family business. It's also nice to see that his employees, while busy, looked happy to be there. That's not always true with Tire Places. I am a fan and will be back in 5000 miles to take advantage of the free tire rotation which costs money at the dealer. I was tired, but my care was newly tired. I've driven a few hundred miles since then and the tires ride smoothly with good gas mileage. read more

Well, I found out yesterday Patterson tire is under new management I haven't been there for a while so I didn't know I was gonna stop in and have them check my brakes but they were closed the day I went which kind of worried me because they're always open anyway am I loved their service for the last few years but I don't think I'll be going back my daughter went in to have her brakes checked and tires and they gave her a quote which seemed way higher than what we've paid before so my daughter went to another shop. I was on the freeway and all of a sudden my car started to shake. I immediately exited the freeway to check my tires cause I tend to have bad luck with tires sigh. Got down to check and all my tires were fine but I just looked for the nearest tire shop because I had no idea what was wrong. It only took about 10min for them to figure out why my car was shaking. My back right tire was missing a bolt which caused the tire to shake when running. The bolt can only be manufactured by Toyota, meaning there's no aftermarket parts. The owner was nice enough to send one of his workers to the nearby junkyard to see if he can find one for me. Luckily, he was able to find one for $10. The service was $50 which I was not expecting to be so much but I had no choice because my car was not operable. Still their service was great and they were very helpful which deserves a 5 stars in my book. read more

This place is great. On 2 different occasions I needed to replace run flats. Several places weren't willing to order in the tires but this place did, first time it was the next day because it was late in the day and the second time it was the same day because I called early. Fantastic price and service. Everyone there is very friendly and on my second visit, I ordered tires ahead of showing up, when I got there they told me one on my tires was in good shape and had plenty of tread depth left on it and didn't need replaced at the moment. I appreciate the honesty and not just switching out the $220 tire and taking my money. I will certainly be going back there even though I now live about 30 minutes further away.
