A deal was make for Dryer Vent cleanout for $100 on the next trip which would be part of the warranty, which was fine, it needed to be done anyways. The parts were ordered and it was prolly my fault they did not get back here for a couple of weeks, but I am also sure home warranty (AHS) was not in a hurry to spend money. So the second appointment was made and kept- but this is where the two stars begins, while the second guy was nice and such, he did not seem to understand that one can not just jam a tool in thinking everything comes a part the same way. I told him the other tech had to remove the door to get the front open, but he just kept trying to pry on it. He would eventually follow my suggestion saying he never seen one like that before. After he got it open, I left him to do some other work. I did not stick around to see how the repair went. I asked him about the Dryer Vent Cleanout which the other tech and I had worked out. His response was he did not have a vacuum with him. I was kinda bummed, because, I ended up hiring another company which overcharged me for the vent. My dryer on one side you can clearly feel where he jammed his screw driver in trying to pry something in which would not budge. I feel the second tech was not up to par. However, I would hire the Company again only if they sent out the first Tech again.

It's been like pulling teeth to get them to order a simple part and show up to install it. I kid you not the part is just a special screw. I've been living life without a microwave now for 4 months, and it's because this company can't get it's act together. Granted, I've rediscovered the joys of reheating food on my stovetop and there are bigger things in life to worry about. I'm just amazed by how this company is still in business if they refuse to help their customers.

The repairman had to take out the bottom freezer drawer to do that since it's in the back and he was pretty rough getting the drawer out. The charge to replace that switch was $400. Then, a couple months later the freezer drawer would hardly come out. I suspect the repairman damaged it while yanking out the drawer but he said it was the rails that were bad and that they he has seen this in many bottom freezer units. I'm not sure that's accurate. My wife and I both think he damaged it getting it out. Anyway, he wanted to charge us an additional $400 to replace the rails. We asked what the alternative was since we had already paid them over $400 to change a switch and he said we could try some silicone spray. Then he wrote us a bill for his visit and charged us another $95 to do nothing. Ridiculous and we will never use this place again. Now, my bottom drawer won't come out much, I've spent about $500 on a 2 year old refrigeration. By the way, they recommended this refrigerator when we bought it 2 years ago.

He will also have the parts with him to do everything in one appointment. She broke down costs were $160 hour + $70 parts. The Technician came out two days later and called an hour in advance to till me that he's on his way over. More than a week passed and I called to follow up on parts, supposedly two parts, that were ordered and when repair could be scheduled. I was told my case had been mistakenly closed. A different tech came for second appointment and claimed he needed to diagnose issue for himself and order parts. $135 visit charge. Third appointment the range was repaired with replacement of display. $310 bill. I called between the 2nd and third visit to ask what to expect for this third visit as I'd already paid over $400. I also asked for refund of one of the first two visits. I received an email w third visit costs AFTER the third visit when the repair was completed. A few days later I was informed I was being denied any refund for the first or second appointments. They charge in 6 minute increments, $25 per. So beware. At least my range is working. Just at cost of over $700. Ugh.
