I spotted this Burger King restaurant in the same plaza as COBS Bread and Scotiabank. I felt like grabbing some food here for dinner. I had placing a takeout order in mind. I needed to use the washroom. I parked fairly close to the drive-thru entrance and walked over to the eatery. I entered the door. The washrooms are conveniently on the left when you walk in. The women's washroom was clean. There were a couple of stalls. The one that I used was in decent shape. This eatery has a few self-serve kiosks to place your order. The order counter was fairly busy with customers waiting for their food. I decided to head to my car and place an order online through Burger King's online site. It was nice to check out deals and place my order in the comfort of my car. I got the classic chicken sandwich as a combo. I got fries and a medium Diet Coke as part of this combo. I got an estimated time when my order would be ready. I was so close to the drive-thru entrance that I didn't have enough room to enter it in one shot. I ended up parking at another spot, which would allow me to enter the drive-thru without ruining my car once my order was ready. There were two cars ahead of mine when I did hit the drive-thru. The line moved quickly. I let the woman know at the order area that I had an order in my name. She found my order and said that I could drive up. This woman was friendly and nice. I got her at the window. She handed me my drink and food. I thanked her, put my food in an insulated bag, and drove home. I love a classic chicken sandwich. It was yummy. The chicken was delicious with the mayo and lettuce. I loved the long sandwich bun. Yum! The fries are so much better these days. The potato skins are left on the tips of each fry. The fries were crispy and had the perfect amount of salt. My Diet Coke was yummy. It was cold and washed everything down. It's a decent Burger King. I'd return when I'm in the area. (202)

We had a 2 can dine breakfast coupon for $6.99. Can't find a better deal than that! The croissant was delicious and unlike the Big M chain, they did not make any cost cutting like smaller egg, sausage or croissant. The sausage was juicy and massive. The egg was the scramble style made in a round mold. The hashbrowns were bite size full of potato goodness. I don't usually big up fast food but this one hit the spot. The dining room is modern, clean and spacious. This location did go through a brand refresh to make it look more appealing. Overall I would recommend this place and if you get the coupons in the mail then don't forget to bring them. You can also order from their app and there are coupon offers in the app.

I find that the root beer quality is highly inconsistent depending on the franchise location. For example, the Sheppard and Birchmount A&W location has some of the best root beer in the GTA. They serve you the root beer in CHILLED glasses and the root beer is also very fizzy. Perhaps it was because this A&W is part of the food court? The burger patties could've also been hotter when biting into them. I must echo what one other reviewer said about the temperature. Also, while the sides tasted good, the sweet potato fries should've been in the fryer longer (a lot of them were limp and not crispy). The onion rings were also not battered well. The coating was basically flaking off of each piece when I picked them up. I'm still gonna come back to this A&W for the $2 mobile app order (teen/mozza burgers) on Maple Leaf game days, but if I was really craving A&W it wouldn't be at this location.

You can get veggie, chicken, and beef patties. With beef, it comes in mild, regular spicy, and extra spicy. I got a box of regular spicy. I could smell the hot patties. I had to get one for the road. I got a regular spicy beef patty. I couldn't resist! The woman who was originally behind the hot foods helped me get my hot patty. I paid for my purchases with a credit card. I tapped and was good. I thanked her and left with my purchases. You can get bread here, too. It has rolls on the weekend. I liked seeing desserts by the payment area. It was difficult for me to resist getting some. Located in the basement of Stong College at York University the Orange Snail is an independently owned restaurant / pub. The owners are a Caribbean husband and wife and they serve Caribbean food, but they are best known for their lunch "buffet". The buffet (which is not all you can eat) is pretty cheap (around $6) Your food is given to you by a server - they will give you a HUGE amount of carbs - usually either plain rice or pasta - I'm talking two or three cups of rice, and then a smaller amount of protein (whatever they've made that day) quality ranges from pretty mediocre to quite good, but it's pretty much luck of the draw as to what they decided to make that day. You also get a separate plate or container for salad which you can help yourself - the salad is quite plain though about 95 % lettuce or you can take coleslaw or cheap pasta salad. It's very evident that the snail tries to keep it's food costs down to a bare minimum and offer a large amount of (cheap) food for a low price. If you don't opt for the buffet (or arrive after lunch hour) you can order from the menu. They do have several vegetarian options as well. I've found that service is extremely slow so it's normal to wait 15 minutes or sometimes much longer to get an order. The owners are usually quite friendly and chatty, but I think overall the food is medicocre and the service is slow. On one hand I'm happy that there are still some places on campus that are independently owned (not owned by evil Amark) but I wish the owners of the Snail would do something better with the place. Oh during the day they ALWAYS have soap operas blasting on the televsion. I'm pretty sure at a university not too many of the students or staff are really interested in the latest developments of The Young and The Restless so I would pretty much never dine in for that reason.
