I have been buying tires for all my family's vehicles here for years. The staff is friendly and have patience for a lot of questions about what needs to be done and what to buy. I just had the tires replaced on my truck and my wife's SUV and they did a good job. Prices are in line with other tire places. I have shopped around and you may pay a little more for a better tire, but I'd rather pay a little more and trust that it is going to get done right the first time. read more

Don't let them know you're from out of state they'll think you're stupid and try to pull a fast one on you. Research prices and everything from their quote before you give them the green light. For one example they tried to charge me over $300 for a $50 part (yes that price did not include labor). They did make the right call outs I'll give them that, but whoever is running the show is corrupted by greed. read more

You better ask how much it's going to cost first! I just paid $265 to mount and balance 4 tires on my sedan. High prices are one thing, but this is just a complete rip-off. I had a tire problem, where it was about to blow out, at around 4 pm yesterday afternoon. I went to Big 10 and asked if they could look at it and they did. They were nice enough to take my car and put on the spare, as busy as they were, and ordered a new tire for me. They texted me this morning letting me the tire was there and ready to replace. I have been coming to this location for 5+ years. I am always treated well. This location is busy. They do their best but arriving at closing time and needing service that day is not their fault. I always arrange to drop off and they get it done in good time. Auto maintenance is difficult and dangerous work that is critical to the safety of your car, do you really want to rush them? I have referred lots of folks in this direction and none have any issues. Highly recommend this team. read more

I came in today a little after 4pm. My husband called earlier and told them around what time I would make it. The manager, Dale, stated that would be no problem. I'm a healthcare worker and rushed over as soon as I got off. To my surprise, I was denied service. They stated they were short a technician. I have 26 inch rims and require big tires. I was prepared to purchase 4 brand new tires, but was denied service even though we told them what time I would come . They claimed " we sent a technician home at 330p". Why would you do such a thing if y'all were so busy. I think it had more to do with who I was versus what I was presenting. You told us it was okay to come at that time, but made me waste time and energy coming for a false promise. I would not recommend BIG 10 pros is Madison, MS! I give it 0 stars. read more

In short, don't take your car here...totally incompetent. To start, the service representative is arrogant and argumentative. And, as the day went on (over five hours for a tire change), it was apparent he was incompetent, a poor communicator, and worst of all - shady, asking for my credit card before the job was complete and without producing an invoice for inspection. Last three trips To Big Ten Glucksdadt 1. lost locking lug nut for one wheel. 2. lost lug nut key to locks. 3. failed to tighten lug nuts on my sons truck. wheel almost came off and ruined the wheel. Could have been very bad. (They did replace the wheel) Quality Control very bad. ) Now looking for a new shop to service our four vehicles and tire shop. read more

I brought my car here last Wednesday for a front end alignment and to have my front passenger tire replaced. On Saturday my low tire pressure light came on and I realized THEY REPLACED THE WRONG TIRE!!! They took off my perfectly fine front driver tire and threw it away, leaving me with a badly damaged tire still on my car. When I called and complained they said bring it back Monday and they would get it all settled. So I arrived on Monday (after having to drive 3 hours back to Madison from my home in Gulfport) to have the young guy up front tell me they were going to "find the leak and patch up" my severely damaged tire. I didn't know what to say so I called my dad and he called up here for me while I was waiting and talked to a manager. About 30 minutes later they came back and said my new tire would be here at lunch. The reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 0 is because even though they messed up on my car they also fixed their mistake and fixed it for free. I won't be back here but I'm glad they fixed it instead of leaving me with a messed up tire after I purchased a new one. read more

Big 10 in Gluckstadt gets one star....only because there was not an option with less than that. Overpriced, totally incompetent, and slow as Christmas. Took them 8 hours + keeping my truck over night to partially accomplish what they promised would take 2-3 hours after lunch on a Friday. The task was simple: replace brake pads and cut rusted/broken tailpipes off directly behind the muffler. The guy even wrote those instructions down on my ticket.....They called me twice that afternoon once to be sure I wanted it done that day (absolutely....that's the only reason I let you work on it).....the second time to tell me it wouldn't be finished but I could pick it up "first thing in the morning". I called back at 10 the next morning and was told they were "finishing up now....should be ready in a few minutes". I gave them another 2 hours before I went to get it just to be on the safe side....still not finished. When they brought my truck around 30 minutes later, they still had not finished the job. One tail pipe was now 2" from dragging the pavement and the other one twisted, bent, and crimped until it broke off. They said thier mechanic had locked up all of his tools yesterday and had left for the weekend.....REALLY??? You don't have an extra torch, a sawzall, a hacksaw, a grinder with a cutting blade.....NOTHING? What are you going to do for the rest of THIS business day WITH NO TOOLS.......who is the dude working on my truck if your "mechanic" is gone.....what type of crude instruments is he using if this business only has one set of tools and they are locked up?? I no longer felt comfortable with them touching my vehicle.....I left and finished the job myself in my driveway with a sawzal in 2 minutes! First and last trip to that place. read more
