It's okay but a good breakfast spot for the area. The claims of Best Breakfast in Seattle or National Eggs Award are highly suspect. They admit their omelette aren't omelette and they are very liberal with the word Frittata. The food is okay for the most part. I believe some items are straight from the restaurant food suppliers frozen section. The menu is too large to expect a quality meal make fresh. The waffle and pancake mix is from a box. The harsh browns has a cooked top and uncooked bottom. The bacon was fatty but cooked so much it's hard to tell. Please someone explain to them what a British Breakfast is because the one they serve is straight up not a Full English or Full Irish. Only thing I can truly recommend is the fresh OJ. Prices aren't too bad for the portion size. The service was good but never got my water refilled even though it was empty at the time of ordering. I went here with a friend at 11am so it would not be crowded. The server couldn't understand what I was asking but she was trying to accommodate so I picked another dish. I thought the food was okay nothing special. When it came down to paying for the dish I paid cash and she walked away again I had more for a tip. It was just a bit exhausting. read more

Absolutely terrible experience at Patty's Eggnest in Kenmore. I ordered a gyro sandwich, but they brought me a gyro omelette instead. When I told the waiter it was the wrong item, he came back with the menu, yelled at me, and demanded I show him what I ordered. I pointed to the correct item, and he rudely insisted, "No you didn't." Completely unacceptable behavior. The food itself was awful -- full of lettuce and sauce, barely any meat (literally only 3 small pieces), and just sloppy overall. On top of that, the waiter never asked if we wanted coffee, just poured it without a word. We assumed it was complimentary since he didn't say anything, but then we were charged for it on the bill. Well you know this is a very cute location. I have been to Patty's egg next for years over in Bothell. Great diner style food. I frankly don't think it's much better than an IHOP or a Denny's. If you want really good food you got to go to something like rusty pelican. Usually breakfast places on the weekend have their top-notch staff. However if this was the top-notch staff that we encountered, I would definitely not go here on a weekday. Cooks seemed all right. Staff was okay. And the food well mediocre. My sweetest pancakes seemed a little bit burnt and lacking and cream. We had a table full of people. Everybody ordered food and a friend showed up late so we just asked for an extra plate. $2 service fee for a plate. Now maybe if it was one person and you asked for sharing I don't know maybe. But you got over $150 worth of food going out here and one person shows up just to celebrate the birthday late and you want to charge for a plate. And that person did order hot tea which was $3.50. so nickel and diming not a big fan of. In our group The breakfast burrito was probably the best order of the day. The pancakes mediocre. The poached eggs were horrible. If you ask for some extra hot water for your tea between the eye rolling took a good 10-15 minutes just to get an extra cup of hot water which then they tried to charge us for. I know they have some poor reviews here. But we thought we would go anyways because it is such a nice location and many of us have been to the other Patty's egg nests around town. Overall good but not great. Friday morning and the place was almost empty. Interior hasn't changed from the previous owner and was clean. Oddly they haven't yet changed the sign by the street or added the location to their website. Service was fine for seating and ordering but so-so after that. Portions were large. Eggs benedict was fine but the hash browns were quite undercooked (a common problem but this was about the most undercooked I've ever seen). North beach omelet was large and good. Prices ($16 and $18) were about what you'd expect for breakfast these days. read more

I'm excited they have opened a new location in Kirkland. I had an omelet spinach, mushrooms and Swiss cheese with a side of bacon. All was delicious. The only drawback was service was a bit slow. Came for lunch on a Sunday. It was busy to be expected so we had to wait. I had the cheeseburger and potato salad. The meat tasted kind of fake and potato salad is subjective but I thought it had way too many bacon bits which overpowered it. Breakfast might be better. A lot of people were waiting to order and waiting for checks. Finally people just went to the counter so they could pay and get out of there. Must have been shortstaffed that day. It didn't impress us enough to return. I'm happy to have an American style restaurant on the hill but that day missed the mark. read more

Nice traditional American/European breakfast food with a wide range of options. I've been here twice now and especially loved the Swedish pancakes. Their scrambled eggs are wonderfully creamy. Service is nice and fast. The restaurant ambiance is perfect for a nice, comfortable brunch with friends or family. One complaint: there's barely any space to sit while you're waiting for a table, and they don't take your phone number, so you have to stay close enough to hear them call your name when your table is ready. If you're not ordering takeout or making a reservation (not sure if they take reservations?), be prepared to stand in the crowded entryway or outside the door for 30+ minutes during weekend brunch hours. If they're not going to add more seating in the waiting area, it would be nice if they at least took phone numbers so you could sit down in your car while you waited. read more

Just left. My husband and I tried two mini-breakfasts. I had the mini eggs Benedict and he had the mini breakfast. The place seemed clean and felt nice. Soft music playing, cushion on my seat. Staff friendly and soft-spoken. Went great until we got our food. Not great :( . Both of our eggs were done okay. The cook needs to google how to do eggs Benedict. The sauce...was thin and tasteless and not even lots of salt, pepper AND Tabasco could save it. The hash browns I didn't even try after my husband said they were dry on the inside and tasted like they used dirty vegetable oil. My ham was alright but had the same old oil flavor (mild but definitely there). My English muffin was not toasted and therefore had no defense against the watery not-hollandaise. If our server would have asked us, we would have been politely honest with our feedback. But tellingly, she never did. The prices are the same as our favorite breakfast place, Crystal Creek, so no excuses will be accepted. Thanks but no thanks. read more

The place is cute and clean, but as our second visit giving it another try we were disappointed again with a few things. I got the veggie scramble and It was so over loaded with feta it was too salty to eat. The potatoes o'brian were good. My husband got the corned beef hash that they claim is made there, but he said it tasted like the canned stuff (he is very familiar with the canned stuff), so he was ok with it, but disappointed. His hash browns had zero flavor so I tasted his and my sons and both had no seasoning - same as last time. His over easy eggs also had no seasoning. My son enjoyed his pancakes and bacon. As for service we were shocked at a few things. They seated us nicely and took our order even though the man taking our order seemed distracted and rushed. The next time we saw him he was coming over with the device to check out and asked if we were all set. Our plates were still 3/4 full, and we were trying to get someone to get us more coffee. So we said no but could we get more coffee and he said yes in a huff. No coffee and he was back on his phone. We finally asked a woman serving others if we could get coffee and she got it for us. The man was pacing about standing near the coffee talking on his cell phone periodically. We tried to get his attention a few times but even with eye contact he never came by. Eventually the woman did help us with boxes and checking out. On the way out he was standing in the dining area still on his cell phone and never checked on us again and did not say goodbye or any acknowledgment. Maybe he thought since the other woman was helping us it was ok. It felt very rude and odd to be in the main area on his phone or constantly checking his phone. I thought maybe he was on breaks? But then it should be in the back? There will not be a third try. $120 for breakfast and 1/2 of it we could not eat. We did bring it home and will try to add some eggs to my veggie scramble to better balance the heavy feta and reheat the hasbrowns with seasoning for our breakfast tomorrow. We dismissed 2 of the 3 over easy eggs because we cannot save those. We heard so many good things about Pattys Eggnest, maybe it is this location in Kenmore that is different but the food was not very good and the service was bad. read more

Had take out for three meals Sunday, 12-6-2025. Hamburger was so overcooked on a terrible bun. Corn beef sandwich was on WHITE bread, with three super thin slices of meat that looked right of a luncheon meat you would buy at the cheap section of the grocery store, Club sandwich was disappointing. We really missed the one in Northgate and when the Kenmore place opened, we were eager to try it. The decor is chic and clean and of course that take over from the Guest House is clear. Basic Denver omelet was like a big mush. The eggs just look curdled. My poached eggs were watery and looked like they were just cooked in a frying pan with water in it rather than POACHED. The O'Brien potatoes tasted rubbery like they were cooked a week ago. It was disappointing and we won't go back to THIS location. Looks like we'll need to hoof it to U-Village. read more

Patty's is simply great for breakfast, no matter what location you go to. Delicious breakfast offerings with lots of food. I went to the new Kenmore location last weekend, and it was yummy. Being a new restaurant/new crew getting used to working with each other, there were some minor kinks to work out but other than that. We are really happy that Patty's chose our town to set up shop in, and they plan to put out tables for outside when the weather gets warmer. Great ambiance too. read more
