Car buying is hard and stressful. That was my lasting impression of the process throughout my many years of car buying. That impression ended with my experience with Paul Burns Auto Center. I came in fairly concerned that I would be taken advantage of/ripped off looking for a Ford F-250 as I am new to the truck world. My husband and I just purchased a truck at this dealer on September 30, 2015. The sales team was efficient and very patient. I called in and spoke to Johnny Laycock and confirmed that the truck we saw online was still available. Upon arrival, he had the keys to that truck plus 3 others ready for us to look at. After our first test drive, the sales manager, Paul Parrott came out and introduced himself. He was very knowledgeable about all the trucks on the lot. Was able to point out more in our price range. Johnny was the best salesman I could ask for. Never felt pressure. Worked with me for months trying to find a truck. I had limited options on what I could afford and they would call when any possible option might work. He took me on countless test rides and worked on every conceivable way of purchasing everyone I liked. In the end he got me a truck I love and realy was worth more than I could afford but lowered the price and gave me more for my trade than anyone else would. When I did have a problem with the truck after I bought it, being a former car mechanic I know there was no way of knowing that the part would fail. Purchased a 2013 F-250 that had ridiculously low mileage from Johnny and couldn't be happier. I was very hesitant at first because the ad seemed "to good to be true", and it was about 80 miles from home. There was never a hint of hesitation to any of the thousands of questions I asked. I have dealt with scores of dealerships over the years and even worked for a few and can honestly state "this was by far the BEST experience I have had purchasing a vehicle". After owning it for about a month I took it on a ski trip to Vermont. It was extremely reliable on the snowy mountain roads and roomy enough for all our luggage and ski equipment. Purchased 2014 Ram truck, good price, low miles, great condition. Traded in my Ford truck which I received great trade in value compared to other dealerships. Honestly, would say about 3-4K more than 3 other dealerships. The truck I bought was priced a little lower than other dealerships (low miles 20k). So I was very happy with the deal.
