Our kids did summer camp this week with them. After the first day, the kids said they did not want to return to the camp because they were bored. They had to wait for their camp counselors waking up from afternoon naps after lunch. There were no other activities to do (board games were all missing pieces). I emailed the owner to let him know of the situations, instead he got very unprofessional with me. I posted the emails so you can see what kind of the person running this place. I am sure he is so proud of his establishment and cannot accept any criticism.

We came here as a birthday surprise for my son. Booked a private lesson with Bo. We have a special needs son. It is really neat walking through the stable and seeing all the horses. Bo was so sweet and patient. Our boy got to hang out with Bozo and it was a very neat experience. We also loved Tito the boarder Collie.

Due to pandemic, I found most places were only doing virtual trainings which didn't satisfy me, as this is my first dog. Luckily, I got in contact with CDT, referral from a friend who heard from a friend that they were awesome. From the first phone call (sorry can't remember who took it), they answered all my questions and addressed my worries when it came to getting the proper training. One of their trainers, Maxine, was able to fit us in her schedule on short notice. After that first private session, we learned so much! Skylar recently completed a 7 day board and train with Maxine and came back less nippy, almost potty trained and now showing default behaviors like sit anytime a human or dog walks by. We have a follow up with Maxine in a few weeks and can't wait! Aside from these private sessions, the owner runs a puppy support group on Facebook which is SO extremely helpful. Her instagram is very active, with tips every single day that help me in between sessions. Maxine was also super helpful in recommending a safe doggie daycare that uses the positive reinforcement approach. So thankful to have found CDT!

I picked Conscious Dog Training because the reviews show they have experience with pugs, and when Hemi had some naughty behavior that needed to be nipped in the bud, CDT stepped in and helped my husband and I better understand what was going on. I love the attention to detail and the customization done with these guys. Our trainer was Rebecca, and she showed up to our house ready to take on Hemi, who we learned, just needed boundaries and more structure in his routine. Training your dog is primarily the effort you make. So if you're ready to do the work, CDT is ready to take you on. They have a zero tolerance policy with electric shock therapy/shock collars, or anything leaning towards negative reinforcement.

Boarded our 5 month old puppy here for 11 days. Action Pack went above and beyond our expectations. They responded to our emails quickly and regularly sent photos of our pup. When we returned, our pup was happy and healthy. We now bring him for daycare once a week. He is SO excited when we drop him off in the morning and is happy and tired when we pick him up. Highly recommend Action Pack! UPDATE: this was supposed to be posted 10 yrs ago! I rarely use Yelp and only hopped on today to find a technician and saw this in the drafts. Well for 10 yrs we've been bringing our now 65-pound "Tibby" here for weekly daycare, birthday parties back in the day, and periodic boarding, and Tibby is still squeals when we turn into the driveway! Thank you for being a trusted partner in caring for our big sweet fur baby!

DELETING REVIEW SO NOBODY CAN SEE HOW TRASH IT'S THIS PLACE…read more I took my dog to this daycare on September 26, 2025, completely healthy and happy. When I picked her up, she was limping, and since that day she has not returned to normal: she does not walk, bark, or play, and her behavior has changed drastically. What concerns me even more is that, according to the staff, there is no evidence of the supposed incident that caused this situation. On top of that, my dog showed signs of having been medicated without my authorization. Customer service has been terrible. The secretary, Emilie, demonstrated a lack of professionalism by interfering with my communication with the manager, acting as if she owned the place. The way this case has been handled gives the impression that they are hiding information instead of providing clear solutions. My dog went from being a happy pet to a sad one with mobility problems after being under their care. For these reasons, I absolutely do not recommend this daycare: they showed a lack of transparency, responsibility, and proper care for my pet.

I still regret it a few years later. She was being buzzed for behaviors she didn't understand. It was punishment rather than training. The trainers drank the kool-aid and are inexperienced, The group classes were an absolute mess. Owners were confused and just zapped away without proper training and guidance, I pulled my dog out immediately. If you truly love your dog, and want to learn proper communication, consider positive reinforcement. The only situation I 'maybe' consider this is a pup with aggressive behavior. Otherwise, I would NEVER recommend this type of training. NEVER.

The owner does need to be diligent with taking their dog to the trainings (we kind of fell off at the end but it was okay) but as long as you stick with it, your dog will learn new skills and will be better behaved than before. We can literally walk our dog without a leash now, I never thought that would be possible. She will sit in her place when people come over and we are always getting compliments on how good she is. We can do things in the front yard and have her stay in the garage and she won't run after other dogs that walk by or other other people or children. She has learned to stay in her place for as long as we need her to be. It's funny because she was a really wild dog before and now that she's trained everybody loves her. overall the training here was worth it and we are really happy that we did it!

She provides some of the best experiences for pups, taking them to beautiful open spaces to run around, on nice hikes or bodies of water, as well as good socialization. WARNING: Your dog may love Ally more than you after being in her care! Not only is Ally more than capable of taking care of all of your dog's needs, but she is one of the most pleasant and fun people to be around. Since moving to a regular 9-5 non-business owner, I wanted pet care for our dogs during the day. I also wanted in-home pet sitting and overnight care for our dogs so as not to disrupt their routine of having us in the home. I love, love, love Susan and Dan (the owners) and their entire scheduling staff as well as their "Pet Gals and Pet Guys". When our baby was due, Susan and the entire Pet Gal team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us plan for her arrival. There is nothing like feeling relieved that your home and pets will be well taken care of during one of the biggest life events. They really did go way above and beyond for us, adjusting to an ever changing situation as well as helping to make sure we had coverage in case something didn't go to plan. They even sent us a wonderful, thoughtful welcome home gift when we arrived home with our new human addition. I can't say enough good things about this company. Our favorite sitters are Jason and Claudia - my dogs LOVE them. They also leave the most wonderful updates and our home is always left better than when we left it. Pre-pandemic we counted on them to care for our pets during the day, and post-vaccine, they are able to care for them during travel time. The Pet Gal team members are all properly insured, trained, and you can trust them to show up, no matter what. You may not get the same sitter each time, but you will get the same care and attention each time. I am so thankful we're clients of The Pet Gal - they are truly a wonderful company.
