Boarded our 5 month old puppy here for 11 days. Action Pack went above and beyond our expectations. They responded to our emails quickly and regularly sent photos of our pup. When we returned, our pup was happy and healthy. We now bring him for daycare once a week. He is SO excited when we drop him off in the morning and is happy and tired when we pick him up. Action Pack went above and beyond to help our family during a recent medical emergency. We were out of the state when a family member suffered a sudden medical emergency and no one was was available to care for his dog. Even though Action Pack was moments away from closing that evening, the employees stayed long enough to allow a family friend time to retrieve the dog from the home and bring to Action Pack. Action Pack was extremely accommodating throughout this entire ordeal - finding space for the dog and allowing him to be dropped off for an undetermined amount of time, even going into a holiday weekend. Unbeknownst to us, at the time of drop off, this dog had a severe flea infestation. The staff at Action Pack treated the situation professionally and compassionately. Not only did Action Pack completely eliminate the fleas, but they continued to care for him in the days afterwards- giving him multiple oatmeal baths and ointment to help provide relief for the skin irritation. By the time we got back to Texas and were able to pick up the dog, he was 100% back to his happy and healthy self. We are extremely grateful to Action Pack for helping us during this hectic and stressful time and have no doubt that the dog was well cared for throughout. We also appreciate the professional and courteous manner in which we were treated upon pickup. Action Pack is absolutely, hands down, the best boarding facility we have ever worked with. read more

DELETING REVIEW SO NOBODY CAN SEE HOW TRASH IT'S THIS PLACE I took my dog to this daycare on September 26, 2025, completely healthy and happy. When I picked her up, she was limping, and since that day she has not returned to normal: she does not walk, bark, or play, and her behavior has changed drastically. What concerns me even more is that, according to the staff, there is no evidence of the supposed incident that caused this situation. On top of that, my dog showed signs of having been medicated without my authorization. Customer service has been terrible. The secretary, Emilie, demonstrated a lack of professionalism by interfering with my communication with the manager, acting as if she owned the place. The way this case has been handled gives the impression that they are hiding information instead of providing clear solutions. My dog went from being a happy pet to a sad one with mobility problems after being under their care. For these reasons, I absolutely do not recommend this daycare: they showed a lack of transparency, responsibility, and proper care for my pet. read more

My sister has been taking her dogs there for years for grooming and boarding and always said they were great. She was right. He looked great when done and was so happy! Extremely upset about the poor condition my dog was kept in. I had my husky Sheba boarded here for 3 nights while I was out of town. Normally a very clean dog with no odor, when I picked her up she reeked of urine that she had probably been sitting in for days. I also learned she wasn't given any yard time, wasn't aware that it wasn't included in her basic package. Those large yards at the facility are apparently just for show, I've only seen dogs running around in photos. It's only been a few hours since I got Sheba back and my normally calm and sweet dog has been neurotic. Her normal husky howl is gone and it sounds like she's been straining her voice, probably crying all night. I also brought with her one of her favorite toys that was not returned with her stuff, presumably because it was soaked in urine. As if that wasn't enough, I was told she "enjoyed playing with the other dogs in group time" but was returned to me with a gnarly chunk bitten off of her top lip. Definitely never bringing my dog back her, I feel terrible about it. Poor girl did not have a good time, I brought her to this place on short notice because of the positive reviews but dog lovers be warned, this is more of a doggy prison camp than doggy day camp. We explained everything to the contact at Action Pack that we spoke to, including our incoming family and day at Kalahari. They just requested that we bring immunization records. They also do a great job grooming my dog (Aussies can be tricky to trim!). I also love that they post photos during the day on Facebook of the dogs having fun, all of the daycare staff are so kind to all of the dogs which makes it easy to leave my pup with them for his daycare day! Our 2 dogs had bath/grooming done on February 17, 2022. We are happy how nice both dog"s grooming turned out. On the same day, after paying our bill we went ahead and setup an appointment/scheduled for a bath or possibly grooming on 1 dog only February 28, 2022. The front desk lady who assisted us said, "ok, looks good, you are scheduled for February 28, 2022. at 100 am". As the days/weeks went by, I notice that there was no email confirmation/notice. On the day (Feb 28) of our scheduled bath/grooming I called to confirm our appointment. To my surprise, the lady who answered the phone or assisted me said, "we don't have you scheduled." Action Pack tried to pacify the situation by giving me a $10.00 credit. What a JOKE! Really now, you think I'll use that credit ever. It's unprofessional, unacceptable, this is very poor and unworthy. So please, make certain with this experience, take your business somewhere else. read more

I wanted to share with you my experience with dog boarding on aug 2-5th. I dropped my dog Finn off and to my surprise I didn't see any cars doing drop offs or any other dogs at the facility. I assumed I was just the first one there. Then upon checking him in I notice a sign of a respiratory outbreak at your facility. I was blind sided by this info. If I had known about it earlier I would have made other arrangements then to risk my dogs health. I had a plane to catch and had no other choice but to leave my dog in your care. Come Monday when I picked up Finn at 5:30 pm, again I notice no other cars and not one dog in site. I asked the lady at the counter where are the other dogs and she said in the indoor play area. But still no one was picking up their dog but me??? I didn't see or hear any sign of other dogs. I'm wondering was my dog here the whole time alone?!! I pay and take my dog home and of course he's sick! I'm very disappointed you did not contact me before my appointment to let me know of this outbreak. I've used your boarding twice now and both times my dog has came home sick and smelling of urine. read more

My pup Milly has been coming here for a few weeks now and when she gets home she passes out which is the sign of a good time! Everyone is very friendly and all knew her name after just 1 week. While they often post pictures on Facebook I wish they had pet cams so that we could check in on her throughout the day, but the staff are always available to let you know how your pet did that day. I liked the fact that she had to go through an assessment before she was allowed to attend weekly which vets out any overly aggressive dogs. They are also very strict on checking vaccinations so you can be sure your pup is safe from any of the common diseases. I haven't tried the other day camps in the area but I don't feel I need to as Action Pack checks all the boxes. read more

The experience I had with Action pack was disappointing. When Ipicked up my dogs that I left for 3 days, my old dog who is blind and hard of hearing smelled like urine all underneath his belly which told me that they let him sit in his own urine. My whole car reeked of urine on the way home and had to go to the car wash to clean my interior out. Advice to staff for a better impression is to take an extra 5 minutes and rinse off the urine off the dog. If we didn't bring them to you that way, why should we receive less than that. Just some extra 5 minutes and common sense would have made the experience better. Plus my other dog had been bitten on the eye and they had no idea how that happened. He had dried blood around his eye and his eyeball was red. I asked how it could have gotten there and they said it probably was from playing with other dogs, but another staff quickly jumped in and said that, "No, they never went out to play", and they look at each other and didn't know what to say after that. The problem with that is that I PAID for them to socialize and play with others!! The manager had to put some antiseptic on my dog's eye but I had to take him to the vet for treatment that I was not expecting. I was so frustrated with them that I just didn't bother to contact them again and ate the cost myself. I am still angry that they happily charged me over $800.00 for my dogs to what I know were left alone in a kennel for 3 days while laying on their own piss. My advice- Get some cameras and I bet they will do their job better! Don't take advantage of the voiceless!! Never going back! read more

I have been coming to this location for almost 3 years for both of my dogs. They take about 2- 3 hrs per dog, they are crazy expensive & I spend a little over $300 after 25% tip to get a small dog & medium dog full groomed. I missed two appointments due to them getting under new ownership. When you "call them" to set an appointment it's really some random call center that makes their appointments for them & they can't actually guarantee the appointment is actually available. 3 times i've had to reschedule due to this situation during the busiest time of the year. Which included, Thanksgiving, Christmas & Valentine's day. After the third time of them rescheduling me, I finally said it's unacceptable to constantly schedule an appointment that is not available. They apologized & rescheduled me. I unfortunately got the days mixed up due to so many different appointments set. Because I have missed those 2 appointments out of the 3 years & plenty of money i've spent on this company they have told me they will no longer accept my dogs due to this "no show" reason. I find it extremely frustrating considering they "missed" 3 of my appointments yet I still went to them because I don't like to take my dogs to multiple groomers. I will say they are nice staff here, but management & ownership SUCKS. I would not recommend this place which is unfortunate, I used to love this company a year ago. read more

I cannot say how much my boy and I love this fabulous place! We've been coming here for over a year now. Buster even knows when it's "play day." He just sits at the door in the morning, waiting to go. After a day of play he's happy but tired in just the right way. He even knows some of his "friends" by name! The staff all love dogs, all kinds, and know all of them by name. We even had his 1st birthday party there, with doggy cake, silly hats and great pictures. When he was only 17 weeks old we started him in"dayschool" and I tell everyone how wonderful an experience it was. Lisa was great, the homework really got the humans trained well, and my 18-month old dog acts like a much older dog. He is calm, even on adoption day at a big bix store. He is my baby, and they treat him like they love him just as much as I do. I have also boarded him twice, and both times were wonderful experiences. Since he knows it as a "happy" place, there's no stress. Howevere, there is one service I don't use there, the grooming. Sorry to say, but he is a Havanese, so gets a specific cut. I have sent pivtures, typed detailed descriptions, to no avail. They have refunded my fees, but after so many times you just have to move instead of a standard havanese teddy bear face, he has come home looking like a Cockapoo and a fat wire-haired dachshund! So I'm grooming somewhere else. But even the poor grooming experience can't take down any of the 5 stars this place deserves. I can't imagine a better place for my boy. read more

My dog loves people and is extremely happy but was tremendously unhappy when I picked her up. She was sad, as though she hadn't been paid attention to at all even though I had paid for extra attention. I was also not told the truth when asked about her food. I was told that she was fed their gourmet food the entire time yet all the food I packed for her was gone except 2 bags! They bathed her, which I paid extra for but was not brushed. I just feel like this facility is ok but it is quite possible that if you pay extra for the little treats and one on one attention, they probably don't get what you pay for. They also told me over the phone that my dog did excellent in group play and that was suspicious to me because my dog has never liked other dogs that much. when I spoke to another person, they admitted that they put my dog in "one-on-one" play time which I question how much of that they actually did because she acted liked she had been left alone in the kennel quite a bit while we were gone, based on my dog's reaction at pickup. read more
