However, upon arrival, I was informed that a new referral was required despite being an established patient with a point-of-service plan. What was most concerning, however, was the unprofessional conduct I encountered from the front office staff. From the moment I walked in, I was met with rudeness and a lack of knowledge regarding insurance procedures, which further complicated an already frustrating situation. Unfortunately, the office manager was not able to assist me in resolving the issue, and her attitude mirrored the unhelpful and dismissive behavior of the front desk team. Dr. Goswami is an excellent provider, and I have always appreciated his care. However, based on my experience, I believe the front office staff and management need to be addressed to ensure that patients are treated with the courtesy and professionalism they deserve!

A lung disease. I say the abbreviation and the full name and in short Aspergillosis. She types away for a minute then turns the computer toward me asking "is this it?". She had "osteoporosis" on the screen. Yes. Yes, the ole osteoporosis lung disease. Are my leg bones connected to my lung bones? Yes, I know it's not a common disease and hard to spell, but just ask. I would like to think someone working at a pain clinic knows what osteoporosis is and that it's not in fact found in the lungs and doesn't start with any of the letters of ABPA.
