I googled almost all the shops up and down Harbor St. I read reviewes and looked at tons of art. I kept coming back to Custom Concepts, what drew me in outside of the art that I saw was the the aftercare that they provided on site, spoke volumes-to me because it is certainly true. I had so many SO many friends to tell me what I needed to do. I called once I had to leaves a message, I also sent a email. I was emailed back and I was called by Jai who is amazing to work with. She was very informative and so easy to talk with, and let me not forget professional in a way that was friendly, she never lost sight that she was working even though we were all enjoying each other's company. I discussed with Jay over the phone what I wanted and who I wanted to my art. This was for both my wife and I. I set up my consultation date. I was called for a consult a day early because Terry wanted to get a feel of what we wanted. While talking to him the artist that I really wanted, I was told that he was not going to be there due to his birthday. Well he just happened to stop by while I was there. Yay... now there was the one hiccup that almost made the whole appointment go south! Someone there changed my appointment time. You know if I made an appointment 3 weeks out I know when it is. So Jai looks at the time and say we have you down for 3:00.. stop punk the breaks no it's at 1:30 and I told TERRY it was at 1:30 when he said to us I think it's 2:30. Nope it's 1:30. That all of the was going south really fast with my wife. I asked is Mike here, because Terry was the artist but wasn't there yet. Ok here is the best part Mike from Atlanta is new to Custom Concept but he has over 20 years experience in the art. I wanted him anyway as I said earlier just from looking at his work on his Instagram page. I have the the Ankh which is designed in many designs many of them. I wanted the Ankh which was the most Original form. I searched until I found the exact one that I wanted. He drew it exactly as I showed him and the placement is perfect. Mike knew that I was nervous, he talked for a while to calm my nerves and it worked like a charm. Yeah I was a solider.. Mike wore gloves, his room was very very clean as well as the shop. We were in FWB to do some family stuff. My husbands family is from here. He decided he wanted Ft Walton Beach on his forearm and I decided I should get a cute little something too! After all it's not fair only he gets new ink. After looking on yelp for places we stopped at Sail Away second and we immediately felt comfortable. We were introduced to Joe and liked him. Even though he's a Raiders fan! Told him what my husband wanted and made an appointment (for a Sunday a normal closed day) made our deposit and left. My husband sent him a cute little mermaid tattoo I wanted but with a few changes. We showed up and Joe was ready for us and we both love our tats! I was scared my mermaid would have an ugly face, but as you can see in the picture, she's beautiful! Thanks Joe! See ya next time!

So, on this trip to Florida with her cheer team, we decided to be adventurous and just wonder into America Classic Tattoo. We'd happened to see a baby shark at the pier earlier that day and started singing baby shark. So I did a quick design of some sharks for my forearm and my daughter decided to get one on hers as well. Chris Kime is a gifted artist and quickly turned both of our concepts into reality. We wanted something simple and clean and he delivered. It was a fun experience that will now be forever etched on our skin and memory.

As you can see the bottom of the cross and chapter curve to left or up depending how I look at it. I showed another "professional" artist and he stated the forearm should have been stenciled standing up instead of sitting. If you choose a design with a lot of fine detail don't let Chris ink it!!! He is heavy handed. BEWARE!!! Now I have to spend $1000 to get it removed...Thank Chris you suck!!!
