I was a bit hesitant to call at first since they're in NY and I'm in Los Angeles, but my friend gave them such a high recommendation, I decided to give them a try. I spoke to the owner, Daniel McBride... in fact, he's the one that picked up the phone! I asked him several questions about his business (he's a retired NYC cop), and all that a background check entails. Just by talking to him, you can tell that he knows his stuff! I discovered that there are several different checks you can do for a background check and that the price is dependent upon which checks you want done. What I liked most about Daniel is that he runs the business, so you will always be able to get him on the phone (he said 24 hrs. a day - I hope he sleeps!). He's not paying a bunch of middlemen so his prices are very competitive. I won't hesitate hiring Daniel and recommending him to friends.
