We tried to find street parking, but it was impossible. The place looks swanky. The stairs were adorn with little blue lights and flowers, which was lovely. The room downstairs was dimly lit with each table having a touch lamp with 3 levels of brightness. The restrooms were individual gender neutral stall rooms with a sink area. When I walked into the restroom area, this guy just walked out of a stall, and he just smiled at me then walked out into the room without washing his hands!!! I later noticed him, and I pointed him out to my boyfriend. Lol... He was the trombone player of the band. Lol.. We ordered the following items: - Golden Hour Spritz - pretty refreshing & bright - Louisiana Lemonade - also refreshing & sweet - Biscuits - pretty yummy, I liked the butter - Jambalaya - pretty tasty - Shrimp & Grits - cheesy and tasty - Peach & Blueberry Cobbler - too much blueberry and not enough peach; this was okay Service... It was mixed. Our server didn't bring us waters that we told her when we were ordering. We had to flag someone down for waters. She didn't come by to check on us or refill out waters. They're pretty quick at clearing plates when we finish them. Then when the check came, they tried to charge us for posters...? We didn't get any posters. Wtf... weird. I said what do you have? He acted all put out when I asked for a menu. I was also asking what the joint had because they were out of food by the second show. We had light appetizers elsewhere thinking that we would have dinner at the show-- super disappointed with the food. If the band wasn't so amazing I would have gotten up and left due to the lack of hospitality and manners. Great venue, the sound and acoustics are fabulous. The salad and dressing was good. The waiter was kind enough to let us know that there was a $90 minimum for our table of 3 that had not yet met. We decided to order 2 desserts. The Chocolate Ganache dessert was fantastic. The second dessert we ordered was a Guava Flan. There only a handful of dishes that I have ever eaten that have made it to my list of #1 worst dishes I have ever had. I was the last to try the Guava Flan and my party was eagerly waiting to see my reaction since they had already tasted it. The Guava Flan was unfortunately horrendous and not edible. I am not sure if it had gone bad or if the one who made it had issues with their taste buds or what...but it was absolutely the #1 worst tasting dessert I have ever had the displeasure of having. Their versatility and ability to read the room really stood out. Noam was fantastic to work with leading up to the event. Everything was seamless, professional, and handled with care. The band showed up early with great vibes and positive energy, and they immediately helped set the tone while I focused on final setup. They brought life to the happy hour. I actually love sitting in the back row of the balcony and that's where I purchased my seats, but when I got there, they had changed my seats to an area somewhat closer to the stage. The seat was still amazing with a great view of the stage, but I missed my back row! I think it was meant as an upgrade, so all I can do is appreciate it. I will definitely return for more performances.
