I was greeted right away and my food took maybe 5 mins to make. I got my favorite standard sub, an Italian mix with a bit of customization (add the spicy pepper spread!!). It's so good and the bread is fresh. A full sub and a bag of chips was about $15. Not too shabby considering it's really like two meals worth of food. I always am leery of saran wrapped cookies that are out on display because its impossible to know if there are actually fresh. The giant stacks of cookies were too enticing to pass up on. The chocolate cookie we purchased was definitely not fresh at all. $3.29 down the tubes - lesson on saran wrapped cookies learned (again). Carrot cake whoopie pie and original whoopie pie - both tasty, but the cake was too thick for my personal liking. We sat in the small outdoor seating area to eat. Bread has a nice crust on it. Loved it and will definitely be going back soon. They also sell deli meat and cheese by the pound. They have hot subs as well as cold. I just wish they were open a bit later than 5:30 pm as we sometimes work past this time and then cannot get a sub. It would also be great if their day off was Tuesday as most places in this area are all closed on Mondays so it would be great to have another option. Just throwing that out there. All that said, this is a wonderful deli and I hope they thrive for many years!

First off I'm not sure what food people in these reviews are eating, because in my experience the Italian mix sub was very bland, the bread was dry, and the meat looked pale and weird. That ambience of the place was nostalgic which is the reason why I gave it 3 stars and not 2. The woman helping me was friendly enough but made it a point to tell me how gas prices were fine at $4.10 per gallon as long as Trump was the president, which annoyed me because it gives an indication that details don't matter here. Given the taste of the $15 small sub I paid for it definitely tracks. Be your own critic, but for me it's the history of this place and not the food has people coming back. I won't be one of them.
