Friendly and very quick service. Very clean, the food is always good. You've gotta try anything with the sausage gravy! Cheaper than going to McDonald's!

I've been in here many times over the last several years. Getting harder to justify. Prices going up. Pancakes getting way smaller. Is that even a pancake? Burnt home fries and I didn't ask for them we'll done.

$15 salad for a handful of iceberg. terrible salad toppings. Wraps are tiny. Left hungry after $67 bill and went to Subway.

I had the Rachel with whole wheat (instead of rye) and it may be one of the best Rachel sandwiches I've ever had. Toasted bread, Swiss cheese, fresh turkey cold cuts, Russian dressing, and coleslaw. I googled it down as soon as I could. The fries were okay, but I'm also not a fan of those frozen bagged fries that have a little flour on the outside for better frying. Freshcut will always win my vote and I recommend CrossRoads considers it. Plus it saves freezer space and only takes seconds to cut them with a machine. With that said, the sweet potato fries were fantastic! In short, we're really glad we gave this place a shot and we will be heading back for dinner soon!

Lmao Well, we ended up here after trying to go elsewhere for lunch, but the other spot was closed for vacation. I knew this would be a good alternative since I've been a few times. Everything I've had here has very good, from the wings to the wraps and years ago, a dinner. buffet. They have family to go meals like lots of restaurants are doing and I've tried it before for chicken parm night and it was very good. Our waitress/bartender was amazing and attentive. It helps that they weren't too overly busy. Occasionally, they have live music as well, also on the patio when the weather is nice.

The burger was great and I definitely recommend it; how ever I am just stuck on that Fried Fish Sandwich because it's like no other! The buns are always amazingly soft and the flavor of their fries are truly original! I have stopped on my way home from work for their Chicken Tacos and they certainly didn't disappoint! The portions were big and even filled my husband up (that third order of tacos ended up coming for lunch the next day-my husband thought one order won't be enough! lol) The seating is great and a nice spot to get out of the office for lunch, nice days I sit outside! The other customers are always nice and conversation is welcome from strangers here. When you walk in it almost feels like home and everyone is always so friendly! I have tried two of their breakfast menu items as a quick pick up on the way to work. Their Bang Bang is my go to! I have had it twice and it is SO filling! I almost can't finish it and when I do I wish I hadent...it is big and well worth the$4.50- unless you are starving and feel like you could eat a horse don't even worry about ordering a side of potatoes...I could never get threw them and the Bang Bang! I have had their Breakfast Sandwich as well and that is to die for! Roll is so soft, eggs are cooked just right to have a little run of the yoke! As always the Mess Hall does not disappoint!

I've been here many times and already knew I wanted the chocolate mousse which is so creamy and milk chocolaty delicious. It's the best I've ever tasted. There were dinner specials which we both decided on the stuffed salmon; stuffed with scallops and shrimp. A big piece of salmon in a carafe dish like what you would get lasagna in. It's hard to stuff salmon so the stuffing was centered in the middle of the fish to give the appearance of it being stuffed. The stuffing along eaten together with the fish; each piece was a tasty morsel. We also got with dinner a soup and a salad which was &6.50 more but well worth it. The salad had carrots, cakes, red onions, cherry tomatoes, and mushrooms in it. As for the soup I got the steak and potatoes which had lots of my tender steak in it that seemed to be more like brisket. Not many potatoes but enough vegetables and tasty broth so who needs more potatoes. With the entree I had a baked potato with butter and sour cream. I would have liked the potato cooked a little more and at a crisp but who's to complain for the price and all you get that doesn't make or break my meal. I can't wait to get back there again. Also I had my cell home changing so back at least for pictures.

The Roosevelt Room in Troy was a great experience from start to finish. I was honestly expecting a standalone building, but it is tucked into a strip mall near HVCC. That said, parking was easy and stress free, which is always a plus. This was our first visit as a party of four, and the service was superb. The attention to detail really stood out and was noticed immediately. Our waitress checked in at the right times, kept drinks filled, and made sure everything came out exactly as expected. Meals are made to order, so substitutions were no issue at all, and it was nice to see gluten free options available. When you walk in, you pass through a curtain and are immediately greeted by a coat attendant who takes your coats, which instantly gives the place an upscale feel. The ambiance is well done, with soft lighting and nice background music. It is on the smaller side and dimly lit, but that is clearly intentional. The menus actually light up, which was a unique and thoughtful touch that fits the atmosphere perfectly. We had reservations and were seated right away. It did not seem necessary on this particular evening, but I would definitely recommend them on a weekend given the size of the space. The food itself was excellent. Everything we ordered was very tasty, and the presentation across the board was impressive. Desserts are prepared by a pastry chef and were just as good as the rest of the meal. It is definitely on the pricey side, but that is to be expected for the level of service and atmosphere. This feels like a special occasion type of place, and in that context, it is worth every penny. We really enjoyed our night and would absolutely come back. There was also a sign mentioning live jazz on Fridays, which sounds like a great added touch. Overall, a very strong 5 stars.
