This is a little cafe in the back of a boutique. If you're walking down the street looking for a…read morecafe you might miss it! We came 30 minutes after they opened and their cake selection was not ready yet unfortunately. If you want the full menu come a few hours after opening. The prices for the tiered menu is a little wild for me. However, their prices for the regular food and drinks are reasonable. The sandwich was delicious, and a very good size to split. However they do charge a $2 sharing fee which i find silly when places do this. Their drinks were also very yummy and the caramel latte had a cute caramel swirl on the foam. The table placements are so gorgeous and just a lovely vibe overall. I do wish there was maybe a wall barrier or divider from the cafe and the shop because it does feel very cluttered and compact. The customer service is AMAZING. They have such kind people working. I called in to make a reservation and the lady that picked up was so kind and patient explaining all the levels of the services. The baristas were so so sweet and easy to talk with. Genuinely the best customer service i have ever had at a cafe.

We were able to put out food and drinks we brought on one table, and then make our candles at another table. They have a whole wall of scents to choose from. If you get a stinky one, grab the loose coffee beans and take a whiff! Those were a lifesaver a few times! Then you pick your "vessel" to make your candle in! Once you have your scent(s) (pick up to 3) and vessel, it's time to make your candle! Super quick and easy process. Pretty hard to mess up. The girl who worked with us was super helpful and patient when our scales weren't cooperative. She was full of stories about different scent combos and when she's actually messed up making her candles. You will feel like a mad scientist and have a lot of fun! While we waited for our candles to set, we were able to tuck into the snacks we brought. I'd say it was maybe an hour, hour and a half and they were ready for us to take home! I can't speak to price because my boss is amazing. :D The front area is not well decorated. There are two cute photo-op areas. The bathroom is super cute! There's a tiny gift shop in the back by the cash register, just before the bathroom. This place is downtown so parking can be a pain. There's a free lot up the street next to Bumpy's tavern though. If you're looking for a fun, crafty experience and can spare the cash, I highly recommend it!

I think I was expecting a little more hands on (melting of the wax, etc) Most of the time spent is choosing a scent and a vessel. The instructor will teach you how to place the wicks, measure out the scent, and tell you when to mix. Super easy, that even my 7 year old was able to make one with minimal help. Variety of scents. Staff is nice. Vibes are fun,

Here is what happened: One of the first interview questions that was asked was around kicking people out that didnt agree with their political opinions. Next, the white women discussed blood/moon rituals, and was scolded by the other owner to stop. It was unprofessional and did not highlight their dynamic in a positive light. I was then asked to teach someone who had never thrown before, the owner, which I wasnt Informed of, or I would have prepared. The expectation to teach a surprise lesson was incredibly inequitable and a horrible interview practice. The fact that she didnt know how to pull was shocking, as this is a basic technique in ceramics. She didnt inform me that this was a skill she needed to be taught. Unfortunately, all the owners now how to do is turn a kiln off and on. Everyone who purchases a peice is lucky that the glazes stick. I went home feeling pretty terrible about the experience. When I called to ask about the status of the position I was told that they chose someone with more experience and a degree. Y'all i have a masters degree in ceramics and have taught high school ceramics for 10 years. Linda then admitted she didnt really know why they went with another canidate and offered a sales position which i declined. Overall incredibly disrespectful, inequitable, and unprofessional.
