I was here for a girls night out and really enjoyed the process. The owners were both very knowledgeable and friendly. I'd go again.

ATTN, if you are gluten or dairy free, COME HERE FOR TEA!…read more The people here were SO kind and accommodating to my partner's food sensitivities. They made a special gluten/dairy free scone, cookies, and generally made tweaks to their tea service to make sure my partner could enjoy everything! I did call in advance to let them know I was booking a reservation and the person couldn't have gluten or dairy and they were totally okay with modifying to fit the needs we had. Not only that, but everything was genuinely delicious and such a pleasant experience. 10/10 coming again.

We came 30 minutes after they opened and their cake selection was not ready yet unfortunately. If you want the full menu come a few hours after opening. The prices for the tiered menu is a little wild for me. However, their prices for the regular food and drinks are reasonable. The sandwich was delicious, and a very good size to split. However they do charge a $2 sharing fee which i find silly when places do this. Their drinks were also very yummy and the caramel latte had a cute caramel swirl on the foam. The table placements are so gorgeous and just a lovely vibe overall. I do wish there was maybe a wall barrier or divider from the cafe and the shop because it does feel very cluttered and compact. The customer service is AMAZING. They have such kind people working. I called in to make a reservation and the lady that picked up was so kind and patient explaining all the levels of the services. The baristas were so so sweet and easy to talk with. Genuinely the best customer service i have ever had at a cafe.

I will be back once I work my way through my entirely too large stock of stationery or perhaps when my stationery obsessed sister is visiting. The prices reflect the quality and intentional choices of items that are more sustainably sources. That said, I would say its in line with similar shops I have been to in NY, if not a bit more affordable.

They carry Midori journals, Travelers notebooks with inserts and leather cases. These are items I usually only find in specialty stationery stores in Seattle or Portland. There's also a nice assortment of pens, cards for different occasions, and various journal setups. I even spotted paints and colored pencils, which makes this a cozy creative hub for anyone who enjoys journaling or mixed media. It's clear this shop was created with the journaling community in mind. I completely understand how challenging it can be for a smaller store to keep a wide range of stock when people don't always take advantage of having such resources nearby. I truly hope the local journaling community supports this gem so that the store continues to grow and maintain a steady flow of new and inspiring materials. So happy to see this kind of stationery store in downtown Tacoma. I'll definitely be back!
