Let me start by saying that I have terrible feet. After years in the military, my poor dogs have been left beaten and over-worked. My nail tech (I didn't catch his name, I'm sorry!) didn't hesitate at the state of my terrible feet, he just worked his magic and now I can wear sandals for the summer. The overall vibe was calm, and I could read my book without feeling pressured to talk to anyone or to add more services to my visit. Thank you to Pauline's Nails!

I'm headed to Vegas and wanted fun nails. On a whim, I called and was able to come in right away. Boy, am I glad I found this place! Tom did my gel manicure, and Tuna was able to somehow read my mind and give me the design I was looking for with only looking at a similar photo for reference. She is fantastic and so extremely talented! I will definitely be back.

Very sloppy, expensive, and they are only nice to take your money. Once you ask them to fix what you don't like, they are very unprofessional and super rude. Go somewhere else, $70 wasted. The lady didn't understand me and painted my nail all one color when I just wanted the tip painted. When asked to fix it, her and the owner started yelling, "What you want?! Five dolla to fix, five dolla to fix!" When I already paid $70 for mani/pedi I don't even like and she didn't even give a good massage.

I really enjoyed this nail salon. It had walk in service and they allowed my friend that was not getting any services to tag along with me ! The nail tech was also very understanding that I had a few phone calls to make and was able to complete my nails without asking me to get off the phone. These are the longest lasting nails I've had no pop off start to peel away from the nail. They have lasted approximately 3 weeks !!!

This salon is great. I called a few hours prior to make an appointment, showed up 5 minutes early and was seated immediately. It was pretty busy so if I hadn't called I wouldn't know how long of a wait I would have had. Ben was my tech and took the time to see how I liked the shape and length as he worked. I liked that I could ask for him to adjust something and he would accommodate without making me feel I was being too picky. Prices are competitive with anywhere else but I feel the great service is what sets this place apart from others. Salon is next to EOS and they share parking, so keep that in mind because this is a busy gym at all times. Also cash gratuity is always appreciated and there is a boa atm across the street!

Three of us getting pedicures took 2 hours, because there was only one gal working on all three of us. They aren't very well staffed for during week day hours. Very nice staff and good work. Clean place and tools. They don't charge extra for a buff, which I appreciate because those tiny buff pads don't cost more than the cost of the OPI polish they put on you and a lot of places will charge you an extra $5. Call ahead, make an appointment to make sure you have attendants available to get you done, otherwise, you could be waiting a long time. read more

Absolutely terrible they kept cutting me after I explained that it hurt. Then they had my friend waiting in the lobby for more than two hours and didn't even start on her nails. I do not recommend this place very disorganized. read more

I initially would have given this place 5 stars, but I can't now .. they do NOT answer their phone / or have major phone issues. I tell them all the time that phone is unreachable . Out of a 100 tried phone calls , you will be lucky if you get 1 that goes through . I have to randomly walk in and hope my guy is working . I don't know how you can run a successful business with no phone. My pedicure guy Ben is the BEST pedicure you will ever have . I have been going to him for over 20 years! He is phenomenal, but has nothing to do with them not fixing the phone issues. Ben is 5 The fact they have been told about the phone issues and won't do anything to fix it or make it right , gives them a 2 star. That's just crazy. I don't know how they stay in business. ?? It's been empty the last few times I "walked in " hoping Ben was working . It's a wild card! I have been calling for 2 weeks with no luck no answer read more

Giving stars because nails turned out ok. Deducting stars because I asked for gel take off & cut down. Told the tech I wanted to have completely natural nails for a couple of weeks and not have any paint or anything. She asked me if I wanted them "shiny buffed" and I asked what that was. After she described, I said no thanks. I just want the original service. Well, I ended up charged for shiny buff? I was of course confused but apparently that was the last step she did. They're fine. It's not like they look bad but that's not the service I requested. Idk. There wasn't really any harm done other than paying for an additional service. It just makes me weary to ever go back since it seems they'll attempt to up sell & not listen when I say no lol read more

Honestly. One of the worst experiences I've ever had was at this salon Mind you I work down the road so I wanted to try it out as my normal place was closed today 4/25 First of all I get there and there's two men sleeping in the chairs for pedicures and then there's two ladies getting their nails done place was pretty dead. I get seated and one of the gentlemen come over and start my pedicure. He asked me if I wanted gel again I said no and he got rude with me. Then started to clip my nails and cuticles and CUT ME ignored the fact I was bleeding and kept going which blew my mind. He rushed through the entire pedicure, not once did I complain other than when he cut me granted. But I stayed quiet. Finishing up (we are about 15 minutes in) He asks what color I want and I show him a blue French tip and he huffs and signs and says something to one of the sleeping men Gets up grabs tissue shoves it in between my toes and starts. After that an older lady comes in and she gets a pedicure. He takes about 10 minutes on her and I felt bad. It took her awhile to even walk in the building and he rushed her service she paid good money for. A few minutes go by and I'm finally dry so I get up to leave. I pay and the guy who did my nails said something snarky to the guy who checked me out. Overall. There was just something about the experience between the men sleeping in the pedicure chairs and the way I was treated and the people around me is wild. I just had the best pedicure experience here. Tom was the nail technician i had and he did amazing. he didn't rush through any step and he gave me the best foot massage ever. 10/10 recommend Tom if you need a good pedicure! read more

I usually go here and have the best experience but today was kinda horrible,the man who did my nails was rushing through it made my nail shape all wonky,he kept nicking my cuticles,didn't even clean up my cuticles ,I kept saying ow and he just kept pulling on my hand and I wanted daisies on my nails and they just look kinda trashy again I usually have amazing nails but today was just meh read more

For what I would consider an expensive nail salon, the gel options were narrow, massage chair was loud and not functioning properly. Although the gentleman that helped me did a good job, it did not surpass my expectation. Place was quiet, no wait, staff were kind, attentive, and friendly. read more

I have been going to Pauline's for about 5 years now and I've always got great service! I've been in there when there are extremely rude customers and they handle it professionally. I've had times where I'm not getting what I want and I express it and they fix it right away. I always go to Tracy as I've been going to her for all these years and she knows how I like my nails and her techniques fit with what I like and want. Reasonably priced as well! read more

Recommend trying it out for yourself if you are into spa massage chairs, and great pedicure treatments (at least 5 to choose from). The foot massage was great after a hike up and back from Queens Bath in Kauai on Sunday 10/17/21. The price is comparable to every where else. My only recommendation is bring cash if you want to avoid the extra 3 percent charge for non cash transaction. read more

I was in today and got a dip manicure done, after picking the color I wanted we started. I normally am not one to complain, but I have two very dip cuts on my left hand. My pinky finger and middle finger both started to bleed and she continued to use the same file on me(I hope she threw it away after I left, because there was definitely blood on it). Then when doing the color, I had picked a black and when doing the top coat she dipped my nails in a pink coat leaving the black looking faded and with it looking speckled. In the picture of my pinky you can see how deep she actually cut me. I will not be returning. read more

I am not going back. It was very busy and my nails were rushed and the results show. Look at the picture attached with bare nail on both fingers, one is embarrassingly bad. First manicure in a long time but I have a job interview today so I looked up a nail salon nearby on Yelp, found this place. Very satisfied customer. I got a gel manicure in secret plum it was 27$ (much cheaper then cali prices). They were very welcoming, gentle and kind. I will definitely come back again. read more

I don't think I can give a rating. I have been going here for a bout 3 1/2 years. Well I just got back home here and went to see Francis. I don't know who owns this place but I always pick out my gel polish. He came out of the back about 3:10 my appointment was 3:00 no problem. But I want you to know I was done by 3:30 fastest ever he did my nails but he didn't shape them or buff them. It was like he didn't care because all he talked about to make my nails strong was I needed acrylic nails. Now mind you he has never brought this up to me before but insisted that he always did on my nails. I said no I stopped that along time ago it ruined my nails. He was working on my nails and I think he was mad that I didn't want acrylic but people were coming in for that and last year I never heard that in this salon. So when we were walking to the register I casually asked what the cost was for acrylic and he gave me the price I said I would think about it. Later that night one of my nails just broke at the quick and then another. I have not had this happen before I called him next day and told him and asked him if he could fix them? He was yelling at me and I asked him to calm down and quit yelling at me he said it was my fault because I said I couldn't afford acrylic nails. He said he can't fix them and hung up. I called my regular guy he said no acrylic but have them dip for gel if he is not getting it strong enough. I will never go back to a liar . read more

All around my finger nails are cuts. I normally get SNS and had it previously on my nails. He used many different drill heads that kept scraping my fingers. Even when I would say ouch or pull away he wouldn't be any more gentle. I didn't have a good experience here and in fact decided to not get a pedicure because I was scared of that also not being a good experience. Even when I was bleeding at one point he just used the base coat and put the brush back in after using it on my bleeding finger. read more

I went there to get short acrylics and the guy who did my nails cut my nails different lengths and also right when I got up he sat another customer down he did even wash his hands or sanitize anything it was very gross. The lengths are uneven and nails were crooked. I would not recommend going there read more

If I could give this place a zero I would! I went here to get a pedicure, but instead walked out with an toe infection‼ I wasn't sure at first bc I've never had a toe infection. It hurt so much I couldn't even walk on it!! So I went to my doctor just to make sure, better safe than sorry. Turns out it was a start on an infection! So I had to get antibiotics for my toe Do not come here ‼ read more

I've been coming to this place for years and it's the only nail place that I will go to. Everyone that works here is amazing and they are always so welcoming when I come in. Not only are they beyond sweet but they do some amazing work. This is the only nail place for about 4 years that I have gone to and will go to and I absolutely love it. Before starting, I showed the nail tech a reference photo of the exact design I wanted, just in a natural nail length. She confidently told me she could do it and immediately grabbed her materials. However, the final result looked nothing like the photo. Halfway through the appointment, I noticed the polish was not applied all the way back to the nail bed. When I brought it up, she told me it was because my cuticles were not done and that polish would get on them otherwise. The issue is that she never once recommended a manicure or cuticle prep beforehand, even after seeing the design I wanted. The color was completely off, the ombré effect was poorly blended, and several nails were not aligned properly with my natural nail shape. The lengths are also uneven. At one point, she told me the reference photo was "sprayed on nails" and that it would never look the same in person, but that was never mentioned before starting. If she knew she could not recreate the look properly, she should have been honest from the beginning instead of confidently saying she could do it. I also paid an extra $45 for the nail art design on my ring fingers, which took only a couple minutes each and looked rushed. The ombré technique used was not done well. Instead of properly blending the colors, she cured the dark brown layer first and then stippled white polish on top. I even had to ask her to blend it out toward the edges because it looked unfinished. The final result honestly looks like blood around the nails, almost like "vampire nails," which is absolutely not what I asked for. I understand that I chose the brown base color, but I chose it assuming it would be blended properly with the white like the reference photo. The outcome looked nothing like the inspiration picture. Overall, the service was overpriced, the quality did not match what was promised, and I left extremely unhappy with the results. I would not recommend this salon based on my experience. Update: I redid them at no extra cost with Kim and she did phenomenal. The manager was being a little rude and wanted to charge an extra $25 for the manicure. I explained the detail work costed $45 and I should be refunded that first. We agreed on the on the original price of $100.

I went on 05/01 and it's 05/26 and my nails are still going strong. That's a remarkable time period for an acrylic set. I initially posted a not-so-great review due to the lack of quoting (after asking explicitly for a quote) and the price of the set ($120 before tip). Overall, I feel this is a decent nail salon. The salon itself is absolutely gorgeous, with plenty of seats for pedicures and stations for manicures. However, I think they should put up a website where it lists the prices on the menu (that I received after asking for) as well as the expectations of the visit. I also think it's strange that some nail technicians in the salon wear gloves and others don't. If you're handling bodily fluids and skin, it's probably a great idea to wear medical gloves and change them often. I think the salon did a great job and has good quality nails - I just believe the overall customer experience could be more transparent.
