Their soup mix is excellent. Looked forward to trying other items however it seems their business is closed.

We highly recommend it!…read more This is our favorite Mexican grocery store and restaurant right here in Rio Rancho, they have excellent supplies of everything that need to make everything from scratch, and they even have frozen items from fresh roasted green chilies that they roast out in front of the store fresh from the farm and as they sell the fresh roasted green chilies they also are bagging and freezing some for future use; to commercially frozen discos that we buy for our empanadas to other hard to find frozen exotic specialties. Walk all the way into the back and you'll see the huge variety of different meat cuts in the butcher shop. Then turn right and you will see the restaurant section with a huge menu of Mexican favorites, with tables that you can sit and eat at right there or you can get all of it for take-out and enjoy at home, its our favorite take-out because its yummy and the portions are supremely satisfying. They entire fresh hand made tortillas every day, no preservatives so this is like grandma-made tortillas that are so silky soft and yummy. Available pre-bagged and as the side tortillas for the fresh cooked food plates. The staff is friendly, well informed and helpful; the parking lot is gigantic (its in the strip mall that runs along Southern starting at Unser so it has infinite parking spaces). Highly recommended, give them a try!

We always come for the Jerry, but the restaurant in the back is a hidden surprise. The last time we…read morewere here I ordered the Loaded Nachos it was big and filling. I also had a taste of the aside torta my girlfriend had and it was really good. Everyone here has always been super nice. We never would have known about this hidden gem in the back had we never came into the market.

I eventually found the hot sauce section, which, incidentally, is incredibly well organized, including the cool display for the Ass Kickin' stuff (prices on the hot sauces are outstanding and there are several I have seen here and nowhere else), but I wish the rest of the store was organized similarly. The entire thing screams clutter and spicy products (I think, I tried really hard to find them all, but maybe (probably) missed some) are maybe 20% of the floor space. The rest is coffee and mugs and t-shirts and pinon stuff and just random...shit. Back to my confusion...I don't understand why this place is called Chile ADdict when so little of the inventory is related to piquancy. I guess calling it a gift shop would be less interesting, maybe? Anyway, if you have a lot of time and patience to spend carefully hunting and foraging around this (sometimes precariously and hapazardly) scattered array, it can definitely be rewarding, but it won't be fast.
