I looked into to a couple of auto body shops in Quincy after I damaged my car, and am very happy I chose to go with Paul's. When I got there, I had an exact quote within 5 minutes, telling me how much it would cost me to fix my car. Everyone there was so friendly and accommodating. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of for not having much car knowledge, and for being a 20-something year old female. They were very flexible on when I could drop my car off, and went above and beyond to have my car ready when I was hoping for. I picked it up and it looked brand new!! I brought a rental car to Paul's Auto Body to see if a line of scratches could be buffed out for less than what I'd have to pay the rental company. My own car was being repaired by another shop and that shop gave me an estimate for the rental that would involve a ton of work, including repainting the scratched door, and was going to cost just slightly less than the cost of paying the rental company. I found Paul through a search of auto body shops in Quincy and went down to the shop to talk to him. He offered to do the work the next day. His team did amazing work, the door looked brand new, and they took the car through the car wash next door before letting me drive off with it. Paul was extremely nice and personable, as well as a great person to do business with. He seems to truly care about his customers and the work his shop produces. I absolutely will be taking all of my car needs to him from now on and have been telling everyone that they need to go to him too. read more

I highly recommend this business. Paul is a friendly upbeat guy who is very conscientious about his work. My car had deep dent on the back "rubber" bumper so I took it to Paul's for an estimate to repair the dent. He said he would do it for free because it would not take much time. I could not believe this because I had just been to another body shop and they told me it would cost $250. He, also, warned me it would not be perfect. I went here this week to get some damage to my car assessed and repaired after someone hit it in a parking lot and left it. I brought it on Tuesday and said the person from the insurance company would come on Wednesday (yesterday), so I assumed some minor cosmetic repairs would be started. When I called to ask if I could pick the car up and bring it back, I was told that the insurance person had not come (after I had said twice they would be there Wednesday) and I picked up a car that had not been touched. When I was told by my insurance company that they wouldn't be covering the repair because my coverage doesn't cover hit and run damage, The insurance adjuster said that she didn't think the door needed to be replaced and it would only required an eight-hour repair. I talked to them on the phone and asked that the repairs be started but I returned to a car that was still not touched. I dropped my car off today and was told that repairs would be started, but when I called I was told again that the door was going to need to be replaced and he was calling around to find a low price on doors. I had said three times no replacement, only repair, because at the moment I couldn't afford a replacement door and I just wanted the cosmetic damage fixed. I did not bring my car up there just to park it there so I could take the T in to work. Paul is a nice guy, but is very disorganized and does not listen too well to what the customer says they want. So I will be going to another place that said they will just repair the scratches and take the dent out of the door. read more

After an accident I had bring my car at Paul's Auto Body to be fixed I have never ever seen more unprofessional bodywork in my life, be very careful because they might try to use junkyard parts on your car even though insurance it's paying for new ones they will also tell you that they are replacing the part that is dent and they will just do paint job on it take my advice if you have a high-end car go somewhere else you will not be happy with the work I guarantee you do your homework and find a right shop for your vehicle and even though you see that he has five star rating they have a way of removing the bad reviews he had bad reviews before mine and I don't see them there anymore. read more

When it comes to cars and you need it put into layman's terms, then you need my review! I know nothing about cars and I am never comfortable dealing with repair shops or mechanics. I mean you can't even go to get your oil changed without finding out you need new brake pads and a new transmission!! How do you know what is really needed and your not being taken? The best way to go about it is being referred by someone who had a great experience-like me! I was sent to Paul's by another auto shop (first good sign) when I walked into the office, I met Paul and his very sweet son, I had a good feeling. The owner of the shop is the first person you deal with (another good sign) Paul went over everything with me, was honest and up front. I can say this because when my car was finished, it did not go over the estimate he proposed, it was done when he said it would be done (which is huge when you work and have to make arraignments without a car!) and it looked awesome. I have gone back on 2 occasions since, both were a great experiences. The last time I asked him to see about buffing out some pretty good scratches and he was honest in saying, "We will try but no guarantees" He was aware I didn't have the money to have it all redone. When I went to pick up my car, I thought it looked 100% better but it definitely needed to be repainted. Paul did not charge me for the time or labor and said, "When you can, come back and we will do this right for you, no problem" I appreciate so much the kind, honest way they do business. and this review was done so others like me, who do not like dealing with car issues, can feel confident about going to Paul's Auto Body. read more

Buyer beware! I've patronized Paul's Auto Body 3 times in 5 years for both my and my family member's repair needs, and had always thought I was in good hands. Little did I know that asking questions about whether repairs were warranted would lead to such a horrible experience. Paul's Auto Body knowingly charged far more for repairs than my car was worth. When I questioned it, Paul stopped taking my phone calls and my car sat with him for over a month while 10 calls went unanswered. I finally had to start showing up in person to get information, and although Paul was played the gentleman, in the end I was left with a huge bill and a car that was "under water." To top it all off, every door that was worked on was left with unfinished electrical connections, so buttons no longer worked, further devaluing my car when I went to sell it. Paul went through the motions of offering to "make it right," but when I brought my car back and left it with him, he never got around to it. When I called him on it, he just shrugged and said, "Oops, sorry about that." I believe this is one of those body shops working in tandem with insurance companies to blindly take advantage of consumers. read more

This is the only place in the South Shore to go for auto repair. Paul and all of his crew are fantastic. Paul was friendly, honest, and a true pleasure to do business with. When I went to pick up my car after a drunk driver hit my rear bumper, he sent my car through his car wash because, "the buds on the tree fell on my car overnight". Completely unnecessary but immediately noticed. The bumper looks like it was factory installed and the car was cleaner than I have ever seen it. I never review things online, but created this profile just to comment on how amazing this operation is. Maybe I will review more places now, but my advice is this: Paul's Auto Body is the only place to do business in the South Shore for auto repair. read more

I just brought my car into Paul's . I recently popped my tire and got a new one put on but was hearing a loud noise underneath and also had some scuffs and a loose fender from trying to drive on the flat for too long. I can't overstate how good Paul and his team are. Very friendly and extremely helpful. I let them know I was in a time crunch to get to work if the car was drive-able. They sped up the process and took a look at my car in little to no time . There's a Dunkin' Donuts right next to it too which is great if you do have to wait a bit. In the end they pulled a plate back that was causing the noise under the car , cleaned off the scuffs , screwed the fender back in place and touched up the paint. Looks like there was never any damage at all now. I asked Paul how much I owe him and he told me nothing I was all set . They just gained a customer for life. Not only for seemingly doing me a huge favor for nothing in return but for being genuine good people . Awesome experience read more
