Through at least a decade of raising three teenagers I've headed toMasison's for quality repairs. They've serviced Toyota's Jeep's, a land cruiser and an Audi. I have always felt well treated and repairs have been reasonably priced. Kudos to Mark King for getting my latest indiscretion fixed the very next day. I recently got in to a minor accident, I called my Saab dealer and they recommended Masisons. If I had seen Masisons prior to bringing my car there I would have never brought my car to them. Not exactly a neat and tidy shop. I had damage on one side of my vehicle from being T-boned when I went to pick up my car 1.5 weeks later they thought I would be coming at night, but I showed up around 5 (still light out) they had parked the side that was once damage up against the wall of the building (so i would have trouble inspecting it without moving it). I drove my car into the light and noticed the following. The insurance paid Maisisons to repaint entire bumper, replace wheel, replace and paint door, replace handles, along with a slew of other things. The "new" door had a brand new white scratch in the paint, bubbles in the paint, bumper had been only half painted and masked and painted with a pronounced mask line (you could see it never mind feel it), the rim that was supposed to be replaced or at least buffed it even had overspray on it and hadn't been touched (my car is red, it was pretty obvious), to top it all off the whole paint job had swirls in it. It should have looked like it came from the factory and it was a complete mess!!! They never apologized, they tried to defend themselves for not doing what the insurance company paid them to do. Insurance company had to call them and tell them to fix the work and order the parts they tried to skimp on! These guys will try to pull one over on you if you let them.... AVOID THE HASSLE there are too many body shops to waste your time with this one. read more

Had a great experience with these guys. Had to get some body work done after getting rear ended and they took very good care of me. They had to hunt down a part for my Honda CR-V and found out there were only 3 in New England, and still got it done in less than a week. Brendan was a super nice guy and was very frank about everything. Had an extra concern about rattling and it came back purring like a kitten. The good, this shop does nice body work, or do they? Our brand new vehicle hadn't reached its first oil change when it was hit. After $8k worth of work on our brand new car, the car looks like new again....at least for now... The bad, while doing the body work Massisons removed the tires on our vehicle and forgot to put one of the lug nuts back on the tire. It's been over a month, many calls, and still no lug nut. Makes you wonder, what other corners have been cut? **** 6/1/2016 UPDATE Stay away from this place! Here we are 3+ months later and still they still have not responded to our phone calls. Come on guys send out a replacement lug nut that you lost when removing our tire. So much for "we stand behind our work". Again, no response from Massisons about a missing lug nut? It makes you think long and hard about what other corners were cut in during the repair of our vehicle. read more

I had a great experience at Masison's. I was rear-ended and needed a new bumper, and decided to kill two birds with one stone and have some door damage from a previous parking garage incident (my fault!) fixed at the same time. I was afraid things might get complicated since part was going to be covered by the insurance of the driver who hit me, and part would be out of pocket, but everything was smooth sailing from the first estimate until the repairs were done. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and helpful, and my 4 year-old car looks brand new. I would definitely go back to Masison's for repairs in the future, but I'm hoping that won't be necessary! read more

I have only positive things to say about my three experiences with them. I had two accidents, being rear ended by twice by Volkwagons! Each time the gentlemen at Masisons expertly took care of all insurance and the repairs were flawless. The last time I took my car in for three dent removals and buffing some scratches out. I have not had any work done by Masisons. They were recommended to me by a neighbor after a tree fell on my truck. I called and within three minutes of describing the job, they made it clear that they were the wrong shop for my issue. They could have taken me in and done the job incorrectly. Many shops would have. BUT they then spent a solid 20 minutes explaining exactly what I needed, what shops would be capable of addressing the problem (aluminum F-150), and telling me the right questions to ask to make sure the job was done correctly. So, after realizing that I was not a customer, they spent all that time just helping me out, with no business coming their way. I could hear other phone lines ringing in the back, but they acted like I was the only customer in the world. Absolutely incredible. To me that speaks volumes about the values they have at this shop. I am so impressed by the integrity, the honesty, and the willingness to help. So, my truck is at another shop, 10 days from being looked at. These guys could have taken me in and half-a**ed the job. But they did not. Because they are awesome. I thought of dropping off a case of Budweiser as a thank you. But then I remembered that my deductible is $1,500 so maybe next year! I was just in an accident where a guy changed into my lane and hit my car. My car had pretty bad damage on the front passenger's side around the tire. Even though they were very busy with work, they took the time to look at my car because I was worried about how it was sounding when I drove it, and because they thought it was a safety issue (since the tire may have been pushed in), they agreed to take my car in right away to work on it as soon as they could. Just got my car back today, and it looks AMAZING. They worked to get my insurance appraiser back out to the shop quickly when they found internal damage that hadn't been appraised the first time around. They worked well with me to help me understand the insurance process and everything I would need to know. I don't know cars that well, and I always felt like I understood what they were talking about but didn't feel they were talking down to me or anything (especially since I'm female and younger). They also gave me a quote (when I asked) to fix my brakes (since they were already in bad shape), which was a reasonable price. And they were totally okay when I decided to do the brakes on my own. They even gave me advice because one of the employees had the same car as mine! What car shop does that? Brendan went out of his way to help me with my insurance and the repairs in general. I can't recommend this place enough. I used them for my first accident as a driver on this same car about 6 or 7 years ago and I will be using them again if I need to. read more

I was involved in an accident caused by brake failure while turning into a parking space. I had never been involved in a car accident before so it was a traumatic experience. It was a minor accident in the whole scheme of things but I was upset. My calls to them Ron, Mark etc, were all met with much patience and understanding. My van was hit in the rear bumper and I stopped by Masison's for a quote. They provided a written estimate in about 15 minutes and had me on my way. When I gave the go-ahead, they ordered a new bumper for me and painted it ahead of time to match my vehicle perfectly. I was able to make an appointment to drop my car off one morning and they had it ready to go that same afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised to receive my van back looking like new, and they even took the time to hand wash it and shine up the tires and rims. This was my first time bringing my car to Masison's, I chose it off a list of preferred repair shops that my insurance provided. I'm glad I chose them because they repairs and customer service were wonderful. They worked with my insurance on the back end for the rental and payment so the whole process was seamless for me. But, whenever I called with questions, they were super helpful and answered every question I had. When I got my car back, it looked perfect! I brought my car into Masisons shop after an accident. They did a find job. And when I walked in a stranger they were very polite and accommodating even though they did not know me. They drove me home because I could not afford a rental. When my car was ready they picked me up and the car looked so clean and shiny I was going to say "what a nice car" until I realized it was my car. I would bring my car to them any time and would also recommend the auto body shop to anyone else who was in the same position. They did great work. read more

Just had the worst experience here. I went to get an estimate on my car. I went into the office and waited patiently until someone came in from the garage looking pissed off. Without saying hello, without any greeting at all and without even looking at me he grumbled a "can I help you" even though he clearly didn't want to. I said I needed someone to look at my car I need an estimate. Without looking at me again, he yells "Right, this late on a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend, sure we're kinda busy!" Then he slams down an orange he was holding and rudely said "let's go, I'm busy!" At that point you can imagine l was all set with this jerk and that's what I told him. I'm all set. I've never been treated so rudely. By the way, it wasn't even 3:30, they close at 5. Also, if he had politely explained the situation I would have gladly come back at a better time. read more

These guys are the best! They are very clear and upfront with you about what needs to be done and what help I should be getting out of my insurance company (which I totally appreciated!). Took my Tacoma here on recommendation from Toyota of Braintree. Needed replacement bumper wrap and some other bits around the front end from a minor collision. They made my insurance claim process simple with MAPFRE/Comerce and arrange a rental for me to be there when I dropped off. Things were ready on time as promised, but there was something not quite right. When I pointed out my concern they agreed and said they would address. This place has been around for years and it shows. My car went in to Masison's for front end repair , came out with a still crooked hood, front side panels were not aligned . My car came back missing a part that covers the hood attachment . I had to actually point out the flaws to Mike Masison (The Owner) and he offered , for my troubles and the fact they must still fix my car, a one day rental car. Really? My family is in the car business and has been for years , We will never again suggest this place for body work. Look for a better place , this place read more
