Just wanted to share with you how pleased we were with our entire experience with Gary and Pavers4less. From my initial contact with Gary to completing the project, everything was ideal. I think from my first call, to completion, it was literally only 2 weeks or so. Started on time, finished on time. On budget. No hassles. Gary is incredibly responsive and proactive. WOW!!! Great company and great experience! We had about 4,000 s.f. of cracking pool decking and old deteriorating Saltillo tiles. Joe Marsh came in and recommended a travertine overlay, which eliminated much of the cost of demoing the existing surfaces. As needed for elevation, he demoed selected areas and then installed the pavers. The end result is beautiful and exceeded our expectation. He also resurfaced our pool (fiberglassed previously) with a new pebble finish. His crews were fast, efficient and thorough with all aspects of their work. After completion Joe Marsh came out and recommended additions to our entry for appearance, and did the work at no additional charge. In 2014, Pavers 4 Less was a subcontractor working for Pacific Sun a pool company we had hired for our pool project. After the completion of our pool, Pavers 4 Less installed travertine pavers in the entire yard surrounding our pool. Once the pavers were installed the backyard was not level and water would not drain properly. We contacted Pacific Sun several times about the issue and there was no resolve. The pavers in certain areas then started sinking more and more creating a trip hazard as well as more drainage issues. We once again contacted Pacific Sun who reached out to Joe the owner at Pavers for Less. We arranged for a time for both owners to come out and inspect the backyard. We had to cancel our appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, but Joe was not informed so he showed up and came into our backyard when we were not home. His assessment was that there was minor damage which was common and would cost approximately $1500-$2000 to repair. We raised the question with Pacific Sun as to firstly why he would come enter our backyard without anyone home therefore not allowing us the opportunity to speak with him directly, and secondly how is sinking pavers and improper drainage considered minor and common. Rob the owner of Pacific Sun responded that we should get other quotes from other paving companies. This is unacceptable to us. We expected a full repair and for both owners to stand behind their work. read more

Not that I can speak about the quality of the work performed by Pavers 4 Less, but I can speak about the lousy way they did business with us. I contacted them for a "free estimate" and they were quick to respond and were very professional at the meeting. Spending about 2 hours going over and measuring the area where the work was to be done we were given an estimate of $5000 and were told they could start immediately (we are in a hurry as this is new construction and the walkways are required to complete inspections). After agreeing that we would work with them it became very difficult to get a response from the Company. Finally we got them to call us back and they came to "design" the area the business day after they were supposed to start and a day later we were given another "estimate" this time it was $7500. His excuse was "the job was bigger than he originally thought". How could this be???? Did our yard grow? This is a confined area that with no room to expand. We told him we had a budget and the first quote was within budget and the second was not and asked him what he could do for the original price and he refused to respond. The only thing that changed was a lot of time had passed, and he knew we were in a hurry (now we are really in a hurry) and he had us on the hook. This is a bad way to do business. He wasted a lot of our time and has put us further behind schedule. In many ways I am relieved that we are not doing business with Pavers 4 Less because if this is how they do business it clearly would have been a worse experience to have had them do our work. Clearly when you have to rely on traps like this to get business you cannot rely on the quality of your work and the referrals of happy customers. read more

Joe Marsh is a very convincing businessman until you have a problem with his work. We had pavers4less come out and give us an estimate for laying pavers over an existing patio floor. This was in 2011 and we paid him 19K dollars for the work. The reason we hired this company was because Joe offered us a "lifetime warranty" certificate on any repairs free of charge for as long as we live in the home. Move forward to 2017 and the pavers are raising and we are tripping on the edges. There are at least 20 pavers that have lifted. I called him and sent him pictures of the repairs per his request. We set a time for him to come out and look at the problem. He never showed up. I called him MANY times and he never returned my call and never came to see the damage. This company took our 19K dollars and totally blew us off when we needed repairs done. Pavers4Less is dba under Sea Level Group, Inc. Joe Marsh, Pavers4Less and Sea Level Group, Inc. should have their license revoked and made to do what their "Lifetime Warranty" certificate said they would do. They should be ashamed! read more

This company did an excellent job for me. They replaced my 40 year old. broken driveway and walkway with Belgard pavers and the end product is superb. Joe Marsh, the owner, came to my home, outlined everything and provided a quote $3,000 less than the competition. He can do this by overhead reduction and efficiency. He is so busy it took about 5 weeks to schedule the job. He provided a specific contract and did everything as described. He did not even ask for an up front down payment. After installing the pavers for us, there were a few problems that required for them to return to correct. It took call after call after call to even get a call back. It was like pulling teeth to get them to come to back to fix the problems. read more

They take shortcuts and don't stand behind their work. During installation they took shortcuts on connecting the downspouts to the drainage pipes under the patio. I had to have it fixed by my landscaper before they could finish laying the tile. We had travertine pavers installed over an existing patio and although it came our really nice, there was one area of the patio we wanted expanded. We were advised that they should be putting a proper footing but they insisted it wasn't necessary. Our landscaper told us without a proper footing that area would settle and crack but they wouldn't listen, believing it wasn't a problem. Sure enough, 1 year later it had settled and cracked. It took several phone calls but eventually they sent someone out to "fix" the problem. Although it wasn't a fix, just more of the same. No footing, so another year goes and the exact same thing happens. So I call them up and they tell me they'll come out and look. I never hear from them again. I must have called and texted 20 times before finally calling the owner, but you guessed it... he doesn't pick up. Magically however, a day later I get an e-mail telling me that my landscape had "excessive irrigation and excavation" and that's what was causing it and they'd only repair it for a charge. My irrigation is schedule for exactly 6 minutes 3 times per week - hardly excessive. And there has been no excavation since the patio & landscape were put in 2.5 yrs ago, so of course this is BS. Besides, the landscaping and patio were being done at the same time so they should have figured it out then. So I try to call once again to resolve this like a grown up, but like a child they of course do not answer or return my call. So I e-mail them back and ask how they can possibly say this when they had fixed it just 1 year earlier and it's doing the same thing? Of course I hear nothing again from them. So I sent another e-mail asking if they were going to respond because I thought it was pretty poor to not stand behind your work considering I spent close to $30,000 with them and this fix was in an area that accounted for less than 1% of the entire job. Again I get no reply. I've given their name to friends and neighbors in the past that loved our patio but that is now ending. I will never recommend this company to anyone because they cut corners, they don't stand behind their work and dealing with the front-end and back end of the business is horrible. If a company is this short-sighted and won't stand behind their work, they're not worth doing business with because they'll never have repeat business and they won't grow off of recommendations so eventually you'll be left trying to get things fixed from a company that has gone out of business. STAY AWAY Hope it was worth saving a little bit of $ to risk losing potential new business with a bad reputation. read more

Pavers 4 Less just finished installing my pavers and it looks fantastic! Joe Marsh, the owner, is wonderful! Even when I changed the job and wanted to demo my entire deck, instead of just around the pool, he provided the cost and had his guys right on it. The team is efficient and they work very hard. Joe was always very patient with all of my questions. And trust me, I had more than a few. The job was completed on schedule without any issues. Joe worked well with the pool company, Poolscape Unlimited. I never had to call either one to schedule the next step. They both always provided me with an update and they were on it! Joe was a few thousands of dollars less than two other bids that I received and the work was amazing! He even gave me tips for my pool and hardscape remodel, which I incorporated. I had a problem with my pool deck and the pool coping. Pavers 4 Less and owner Joe Marsh provided a great solution. They installed travertine pavers on the pool deck, repaired the cracked coping and overlayed it with travertine. It is beautiful! They also removed the original pool plaster without incurring any damage to the existing pool tile and refinished the interior pool surface with a mini pebble finish. His crew were the best workmen I have ever had experience with. They were meticulous craftsmen, professional, courteous and left a clean jobsite every day. There were a few items on the punch list at the end of the job and they were addressed and completed as soon as I made Joe aware of them. Joe also was not satisfied with the original acid wash on the mini pebble after the pool was refilled. He explained the problem to me, drained the pool, had the acid wash redone and paid to have the pool filled again. Never had a contractor do something like that.
