The inside is so beautiful, I barely had to add any decor. We were able to add a few touches to make it unique and special for us, but it truly didn't need much at all. The food is amazing!! It's been 2 weeks since our wedding and we're still getting calls and texts about how delicious all the food was!! The variety of foods offered are amazing. There is truly something for everyone, and they were very accommodating for our guests with special dietary needs. One of the things I fell in love with about the Chateau at Coindre Hall is just how unique it is. Food was delicious! Cocktail hour and dinner...chef kiss! For cocktail hour there were three stations and then a table in the middle. Stations including two different pasta bars and then a carving station. The table in the middle was meats, cheeses, olives, marinated eggplant and some other yummy things. Staff also walked around with more yummyness...cheese balls, spinach artichoke bites, chicken and waffles, bacon wrapped scallops, Caprese bites, cocktail franks, short rib and whipped potatoes...so much! Dinner included choices of chicken, salmon or filet mignon. I had the salmon and it was so good! Our friends also had their own signature drinks which were delish. Huge props to the bartenders as well for making the drinks effectively! Everything was amazing for our friends on their special day!

The Positives: On the day of, the food was absolutely fantastic, the cocktail hour food was delicious, and the floor staff and bridal attendants worked tirelessly to take care of us. Management was responsive during the planning process, let us drop off our decor a day early, and the venue grounds are physically stunning. The Realities Future Saturday Couples Must Know: While our day was beautiful, working with upper management revealed a frustrating pattern of empty promises, restricted spaces, and logistical failures: * The Saturday Premium Trap & Timeline Shortage: Saturday evening weddings require the highest financial premiums and guest minimum numbers, yet you receive the least amount of venue access if they book a prior event. Despite locking in our evening ceiling lighting layout a year in advance, management booked a high-volume morning party right before our slot. They promised us in writing that our florist would have a cleared room at 5:00 PM. Instead, the morning party ran late, obstructing our setup, delaying our food service, and resulting in a 12.5% loss of our contracted evening reception window while permanently rushing our portraits * Cramped Spaces & Limited Photo Access: Despite marketing their beautiful property, you are highly restricted on space. We were not actually allowed to use the golf course for our photos; there is essentially only one specific spot near the property you can utilize. Additionally, the indoor cocktail hour space was incredibly tight and uncomfortable for our 225-person guest count. * The Operational Double Standard: Looking back, the planning process felt like we were just being 'yes'd to death' by a sales department that didn't want to say 'no' to a premium booking. They market the venue as 100% customizable, but they lack the operational execution to handle the reality of those custom designs. Furthermore, a glaring operational negligence was set: management has since attempted to blame our vendors for timeline delays, completely hiding the fact that our family and guests arriving at 5:30 PM physically witnessed the morning party's guests still lingering inside our paid ballroom footprint, while our entertainment team was also delayed in setting up their equipment * The Verdict: What is most disappointing is that when we privately reached out to management via email to address this mathematical timeline shortage, we were met with initial gaslighting and have since been completely ignored. For a venue that actively campaigned to be named "Long Island Brides Best Venue" by using giveaway promotions, it is deeply discouraging to see that they put immense operational effort into winning marketing awards, yet completely falls short when it comes to delivering basic corporate integrity to a verified client. If you book an event here, verify every operational boundary in strict writing, and hope and pray they don't book a party right prior to yours, because management's verbal assurances are completely empty.

A great big THANK YOU to Patrick Shea, Mike, Christina and all the rest of the team that made this epic night possible. Ava Della Pietra, a local senior here on the Island opened for Phil with her hit "Happy for You". Ava has a beautiful voice and I'm sure we will be seeing her name up in lights soon. Our original wedding plans were impacted by the pandemic and there were small things that could have been handled better including us having to increase the number of guests in order to reschedule the wedding to 2021. I had also been in touch with Uncle Frank who was the first person we met when we booked, was the person who married us, and was always warm and sweet, so that did help me feel more at ease. From the minute we arrived up until we closed down the venue at the end of the night, everything was beyond my expectations. We had an incredible time, and the staff was great. Food: the appetizers and the cocktail hour station got great reviews from my guests. The bridal attendant and Vickie made sure that there were plenty of appetizers in the bridal suite and were great about making sure that I too, got to enjoy this part of the event. Our favorite place was the cocktail hour room; it felt whimsical with the drapery and sunlight pouring in through the windows. However, we ultimately went with another venue as this one didn't really fit our aesthetics. We were also worried that it was too tight to accommodate our guest size and the photobooth. It was a little chilly when we visited in the winter since it's near a body of water, so winter brides should keep this in mind. We also saw a fox in the parking lot! Apparently, people at the golf course usually feeds the fox, but in the winter time, no one goes golfing so the fox comes over to the venue looking for food.
